It started with a lie. All I was trying to do was get away from my unhinged ex-boyfriend. I picked the biggest, most intimidating man in the bar to pretend I was on a date with. I never expected him to play along. I never imagined he would kiss me in front of everyone. I try to run away until he sees I’ve been living out of my car.
He's addictive and all-consuming. When he brings me into his club, I am sucked into a world of submission. I can't help but fall on my knees for him. Milo Russo is a drug, and I am addicted to his praise and punishment.
I want to believe I am safe here, but I know it’s just a fantasy. I can only ignore reality for so long before I must return to my life of suffering. I never wanted Milo to know about what I’ve had to do to survive. Running from my past will never keep me safe. I will never be free from Joey Mancini.
This is a dark romance story with heavy triggers. Reader's discretion is highly advised.
This book is number 5 in an 8-book series. Although this is a standalone story, it is advised that you start with book 1.
1. Watch Her Bleed 2. Watch Her Bend 3. Watch Her Bloom 4. Watch Her Break 5. Watch Her Blush 6. Watch Her Burn 7. Watch Her Bow 8. Watch Her Breathe
Emily Klepp is a Western North Carolina native residing in eastern Tennessee with her loving husband and two beautiful children. She has been writing since she was fourteen years old as a way to cope with her anxiety. She hopes to help others be able to speak their truth by writing about topics that are considered too taboo for societal norms.
Absolutely loved this book I felt so much got stormy and Milo he was just perfect. Check your triggers but my god I read it in a day and feel in love with Milo so much
This is the 5th book in the watch Her series. It's Stormys story of survival. As always, Emily writes to perfection. I felt like I was right there beside Stormy on her journey.
Stormy and Milo are perfection Daxton is the chefs kiss 😘
🖤 Dark romance 🖤 Shopping list of kinks – sharing is caring 🖤 Touch her and 💀 🖤 Short read
And we’re in for the 5th book in the Watch Her series, this time with Stormy and Milo. This is very much an instalust situation and their on the page chemistry is palpable from the get go. Although it was very fast paced it didn’t feel too rushed which is always a plus. Milo was just what Stormy needed to try and overcome her dark past and lived up to the hype from what we saw of him in the previous books, that man is true book boyfriend material.
I love that we get to see Daxton do his thing again, that man is a saint.
Another instalment in the Watch Her series. this one centres on Milo and Stormy after she barrels into his restaurant one night pretending he's her boyfriend, to hide away from the cousins of her abusive ex, Joey.
Again, with cameos from the most loved characters from the previous books, we watch as Milo and Daxton teach her all about the correlation between impact play and healing your trauma.
As things start to get more complicated and her ex catches up to them all, it's a race against time for Dax and Stormy, but can they outrun their feelings? Or will the storm rage harder, and both of them end up amongst the ruins?
**This is dark, please check your trigger warnings**
I loved this book and couldn't put it down. It's quite intense and delves into some dark themes. Definitely not for everyone. Stormy's journey is incredibly moving—she faces the unimaginable, yet she survives. Without giving too much away, there's a moment towards the end that really got to me. But witnessing her find love and hope with Milo and Daxton after enduring so much was truly satisfying.
I just absolutely love Emily Klepp’s writing! Watch Her Blush is a dark romance with a lot of trauma for the main and side characters! This journey is painful but also has beauty and love. Definitely recommend this book for dark romance readers.
Wow! All the books in this series have been great, but this one is my favorite. The way that Milo protected her from the first moment that he saw her to the way that Daxton welcomed her into his family. Definitely read the trigger warnings for this one as there were some difficult parts to get through. I love how Stormy got away from her abusers, got clean, and found her happily ever after with a family who loves her.

This book absolutely DEVOURED me. 🥵🌶️💦 Stormy’s past is filled with darkness. She was abused by her father after her mother’s cancer took her from their family. Stormy’s father lost himself in alcohol and the father she knew before was dead and replaced by this monster that consumed his being. Stormy was groomed by a much older man from the time she was 17, who she was trapped in an abusive relationship with for many years. She developed a drug addiction that was forced upon her and she finally decides to take a HUGE risk… to leave and start fresh.
Stormy finds herself in a new place where she meets her new addiction, Milo. Watch Her Blush is one of the spiciest books I’ve EVER read and Emily did a phenomenal job piecing this book together. The writing is very well-done and it’s fast paced with loads of action, spice, dark desires and surprises. This book can be read as a standalone but it’s actually part of an ongoing series. This is just Stormy’s story. Every dark romance lover needs this book in their life ASAP😮💨👀🌶️❤️🔥
Thank you, Emily for this ARC. Watch Her Blush will be available on May 24th, 2024.
Another truly dark but entertaining romance story from Author Emily Krepp. I will admit I have had the pleasure of reading all the previous titles in the "Watch Her" series and each one is simply as delicious as the previous one and I love the sense of connection that each book has to each other. In mentioning that, you could successfully navigate this story without having read the previous titles but it seems to give readers a better sense of connection with the characters that crop up in each story and understanding the roles and bigger impact they play upon each story. Mentally I have gotten to the point that I now need a little mind map of the characters and the relationship connections they have to one another. But as stated in the synopsis it is highly advised that readers do understand that this story, very much like the Authors other works in the series does come with a trigger listing that should be revised and understood before proceeding any further. They really should be respected to fully understand this piece of storytelling is not a light hearted romance but one that is quite confronting and viscerally raw in many ways. I loved the characters of Milo and Stormy and how they seemed to have connected with one another on such an emotional level but I will admit I was intrigued and rewarded with how these relationships took direction in the advancement of the story, with an "OMG" moment in the later half of the story. Watch her Blush is a truly emotional story that contains some very visual moments that will hold the readers attention and for many that will also test some readers to their emotional and mental resiliency, so yes please be advised that the plot does contain scenarios of physical abuse in the form of rape and violence.
One of the better components of the story is the incredible sense of support that is provided through the roles of characters that have been mentioned throughout the other stories and the overlying sense of protectiveness, devotion, commitment and love that plays out not only in this title but the others in the series.
At 17, Stormy lost her mom to cancer, and her father lost himself to alcohol. The man she knew and loved was taken by a monster who would SA her every night because he thought that Stormy was his wife. She let this go on until the night that he called her by her actual name and she ran out of the house to get away from the abuse she endured while he was drunk. He went after her when he realized what he did but ended up dying in a car crash. Stormy then met a Mafia boss named Joey, who was much older than her. He proceeded to groom her, made her become addicted to hard drugs, and abused her in so many ways. It got to the point that she gained the courage that she needed to escape him, but not without the mafia hunting her down. Stormy moved to Chicago and thought she was safe until she realized she was being followed by some of Joey's men one night. She runs into a bar to get away from them and that is where she meets Milo. She finds the biggest man she can a pretends to be dating him to get Joey's men to leave her alone. Milo goes along with it and in doing so he immediately falls in love with Stormy and knew that he had to do everything in his power to protect her and help her heal from the abuse and trauma she went through. During her healing process Stormy started working with her psychiatrist Dax. Everything was going smooth until Joey returns and her and Dax end up in a traumatizing situation together. In doing so, the situation they were put in brought on confusing emotions, that they couldn’t control. Stormy knows she is in love with Milo but now she has feelings for Dax and she doesn't know how to process it. Without going into too much more detail and spoiling the ending all I can say is that Stormy gets her happy ending.
Another of Emily's "Watch Her" series, including the same family members. In fact in this one many of the characters actually say that the men seem to be drawn to "traumatised women" as they all end up up in a relationship with one.
This follows Stormy our FMC, who has a really traumatic past and is in fact running from one as she runs right into Milos arms in a bar pretending to be his girlfriend with begging eyes and a group of menacing men on her tail. How could Milo refuse?
This begins their love at first sight story. But Stormy is on the run from the mafia and an addict to boot so needs a lot of support. Enter Milos family. Especially Dax, who's the psychologist.
They use BDSM to help her get out of her mind which also has the added benefit of turning her on. It helps as Milo owns the BDSM clum 'Savage Desires' too.
Stormys ex eventually finds her trail and threatens milo but then finds Dax and Stormy in a therapy session walking in the park. He knocks them both out, abducting them.
Milo and the others realise something is wrong and attempt to get a rescue together but they've already been gone hours....
Locked in a cooling refrigerator, Stormy knows what is going to happen and she's trying her best to get Dax out alive. Joey forces drugs on her, and others do too and beats her savagely.......
The two are in despair but come up with the only plan they can think of. It's a risk. If it doesn't work..... They're dead....
This one is such an uplifting story of hope and happiness and to never give up. That things can bd bleak for so long but one day it will turn around. I loved this one!

I absolutely love this series!! Each one gets better and better!
Stormy has gone through so much in her young life and she runs to the biggest baddest man she can find in the bar for help. Milo turns to find the most beautiful woman clinging to him asking for help. He immediately wants to keep her forever. Stormy has been through it all and has a lot of trauma to work through. She gets the help from Milo and Dax. Milo is absolutely smitten and falling hard for this beautiful red head knowing full well what she brings to the table but he doesn’t care. He wants to help her and keep her forever. Although Stormy trusts her gut when it comes to milo she is fearful of her past following her.
What I was not prepared for was the evolution of Stormy and Dax’s relationship. At first I thought it was result from what they had gone through together but then you see that they have also been smitten with each other since the very beginning. At unconventional as it was I am was all for it and rooting for the three of them (Stormy, Milo and Dax) to be in a relationship. I was worried what Arianna was going to say but she was all for them being together and sharing in the love. I loved the happy ending they got. I mean in the end they share huge bed fit for 5 adults hahaha
"I know this thing started with what we want through together, but I was mesmerized the moment I laid eyes on you.” - Dax
“Sunshine, I fell for you the moment you grabbed my arm as if you were already mine.” - Milo
“I want both of you and I want this baby to have both of you.” - Stormy
This is Book 5 in the Watch Her series and is the story of Stormy and Milo. This is an interconnect dark romance. Please be aware of your triggers as there plenty of triggers; SA of the FMC (not by the MC), forced s3x between the FMC and another character, parental SA, vi0lenc3 toward the FMC (not by the MC).
This MF will turn into a unique poly romance.
Stormy is on the run from an abusive (and this does not begin to describe it) boyfriend. After witnessing him unalive a person, she steals some money gets out of town. Her path leads her to Milo, a man who does not do relationships. In fact, he won’t even kiss the women he gets involved with.
There is instalove on the part of Milo as he rescues Stormy and begins doing everything he can to help her recover and move forward. Milo owns a s3x club and his friends (from previous books) are in the lifestyle, and all set out to help Stormy.
This quick read has lots of action and plenty of steam. My heart broke for Stormy, and I felt the author did a very good job of handling addiction, surviving SA and recovery. The characters had a realistic response.
I won’t give any spoilers because you really need to read this book to appreciate what I am saying. While the surprise relationship was surprising and different, it did not detract from the love and bond between Milo and Stormy.
received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Stormy is on the run from her abusive ex boyfriend who is in the mafia, and while she tries to hide from him she runs into Milo. They immediately have a connection and he gets protective of her right away. Milo decides to help keep Stormy safe and to help battle her addiction by teaching her controlled pain. Their relationship quickly becomes romantic, but soon Joey comes back to take her back..
Emily's writing is amazing, and she really knows how to make you feel the desire through the pages. She is also great at describing the pain and trauma, my heart broke for Stormy in this book. The book is interesting from the first page, and is easy to follow. I felt the ending was a bit rushed, and the connections in the ending I wish had some more build up, but other than that a great book! This book is fairly short and it's fast paced, so it's a quick read.
This is book 5 of the watch her series. It is a stand alone book, but it is recommended that you read the others first. This is the only one I have read from the serie yet, but I will definitely read the other ones as soon as possible. This book does get pretty dark, so please check trigger warnings if needed as it touches on some sensitive subjects. Definitely recommend.
Whew ! This book, such an amazing read! As always this author continues to amaze and keep me transfixed by her incredible stories ! Worth the read .
Watch her Blush is a story riddled with trauma past and present, Storm hex yes it’s not misspelled this evil vile creature got the poor girl hooked on drugs and then turn around and abuse her in the most horrific way which led her to run away after witnessing just how evil he can get. But she ends up in the arms of a man who fell instantly in love with her .
Milo thought he would never have what his brothers had but soon realized that with this girl his sunshine he could have the love and family he craves ..
Milo and Storm story is far from over as she fought to hide her feelings for another … Storm has now found herself in quite the predicament . I was in total shock and Awe !! Listen when I tell you I was literally shaking my head trying to decipher what the shitzu on leash am I reading ! This . Book . It’s definitely didn’t come to play ! The whole dynamics between the characters are very different I can’t Edith to read more of this series
Definitely a good read
Please ! Make sure you read all the Triggers on this book .. this particular seems to be riddled with them !
Tropes: Touch her and die Healing Knight in Shining Armor Instalove Breath Play Etc.
Another great addition in the Watch Her series, this short story is just as good as the others. I loved reading about Stormy and Milo and their connection. Stormy is a young woman that has moved from one bad situation to the next. When her mother passed away from cancer, her father turned to drinking, alternating her reality into something that she didn't expect. Then when she escaped that she ended up dating a man in another bad situation. Eventually, she gets the courage to leave him and runs away, getting help from a close friend, but her boyfriend tracks her down. This where she meets Milo. She pretends that he's her boyfriend randomly when her ex-boyfriend's men start to corner her, and the instant need to protect her takes over.
As is the norm in this series, the men and families involved, minus one person, immediately take a liking to the FMC, and everyone pitches in to help her along on her healing journey. There are some trigger warnings that come with the book, so as always read those. Emily makes it very clear that mental health is important, because it is.... So, if this story isn't up your alley, or a part is too much, you can stop reading or simply skip.
There is a HEA for them, but it's not what I was expecting, it did take a bit of a left field skurt going ninety MPH. And with that wrench that's thrown in I do wish that there were more parts of bonding interaction with Daxton, or sessions at least, it did feel sort of forced for their getting together.... I mean, it was in the story, but it also felt like it came out of nowhere.
Still... I loved reading this story, as I enjoy all of Emily's character's and how the feel realistic.

I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review, and I want to thank Emily Klepp for the opportunity.
"Watch Her Blush" is an intense and gripping addition to Emily Klepp's dark romance series called Watch Her. The book follows Stormy, a woman whose life has been marred by trauma and abuse. After losing her mother to cancer at a young age, Stormy's father turns to alcohol, becoming abusive in every way. At 17, she's trapped in an abusive relationship with an older man named Joey.
The story truly begins when Stormy decides to escape her nightmare reality. Fleeing to a new city, she encounters Milo, who becomes her unexpected sanctuary. The chemistry between Stormy and Milo is electric from the moment they meet, and their relationship provides a powerful counterbalance to the darkness in Stormy's past. With his protective nature and complex background, Milo becomes a guiding light for her, helping her navigate her recovery and rebuild her life. With the help of both Milo and Daxton, she is learning to be independent and happy again. The trauma response of both Stormy and Daxton broke me. Especially his reaction and her defeat. 😭😭😭😭
Spice is top-notch, feelings are well-explained, and romance and chemistry are incredible.
I ended up skipping two books because, my goodness, there are a lot of books in this series. This author has a way of taking the most HORRIBLE situations and still making a happy ending. Knowing there is hope after every horrifying thing that happens to the FMC. Stormy, like all the other FMCs of this series, is amazingly strong. She's fierce and so much stronger than she gives herself credit for. I am shocked at the relationship she ends up having with not only Milo but Daxton, too, especially because he's already with Ari and Luca. It's complicated from the outside looking in, but they all work so well. This series is just so good. I haven't found fault with any of them. The author writes trauma well. She writes it in horrifying disgusting detail but builds these women and men into the happiest of people. There is hope, even in the pain suffered. They all found happiness. I think I appreciate that the most out of this authors writing. I've seen so much negativity regarding this author, and while I don't always agree with her, she writes amazing books about broken women and men who find their happily ever after. It's hope for every single broken person out there! Another 5 star read for me!
As with all dark romance, I suggest reading the trigger warnings before diving into this book.
This book has multiple point of views, but they start with Stormy. Stormy is a woman whose mother died at the age of 15, due to cancer, and her father was abusive. Thankfully, she didn’t have to endure the abuse for long, because two years later he dies due to drinking and driving.
In the beginning, she has a boyfriend of seven years named Joey, who she met after her dad died when she was 17 (yes, she was groomed). Joey was abusive toward her, and got her addicted to drugs so she would have to rely on him.
She ends up running from him due to walking in to see him killing someone, and she runs to a bigger city to make it harder for him to find her. That is where she runs into Milo, who has his own point of views as well.
Milo owns multiple bars in the area. He has a loving mother, but abusive father. He was out with his brothers, Matt and Luca, as well as his brother in law, Dante, when Stormy approaches them.
Joey is willing to do anything to get Stormy back, but she does not want to go back.
This is the 5th book in the Watch Her series. This is Stormy and Milo’s story. At 17, Stormy lost her mom to cancer, and her father proceeded to SA her. That is until she ran away, and her father passed away in an accident, while going after her.
She then met a Mafia boss named Joey, who was much older than her. He drugged her, groomed her, abused her in multiple ways. She finally found the courage to leave him, but not without the mafia finding her of course.
This is where Milo came in. She ran into a bar, and found the biggest man that she saw, and pretended to be dating him. Milo immediately fell in love and knew that she was worth protecting. He took care of her, showed her compassion and love.
During Stormy’s healing journey, she worked with her psychiatrist Dax. But unfortunately they ended up in a traumatic situation together. That situation then brought on confusing emotions, that they couldn’t control. How could Stormy choose between Milo who she loves, and Dax, that she feels she loves too? Why choose, when you can have them both?
Overall, this is a great read! I can’t wait to read the next book!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Watch her series by Emily Klepp is soon to come out with another book, following Milo's path in his love interest. Will he be able to save and support her or is she too tangled up in her maffia ex's world?
And.... that twist at the end!!! Whilst it was hinted through the book and I was hopeful to read a scene or two about it, it completely flipped my mind of how it actually came to light and what Stormy lived through both emotionally and physically.
Without giving (too many) spoilers away, this book is a dark dark dark romance book, touching a few very subjects that can be triggering to the reader so please read the Shopping list (aka Trigger warning) before diving in.
🔥 These books are interconnected standalones. With its world building and character development you can read it on its own however it's highly advised to start with book 1 (all available on KU).
🌸 The whole Watch her series I'd rate a 4.5/5 so far with some book being just the perfect hit at 5* and some a 4*. Emily Klepp really outdone herself with this dark romance trauma series and I absolutely cannot wait to read more!
Book 5 in the Watch Her series. It deals with themes of SA so check the triggers. This is the story of Milo and Stormy. We’ve met Milo in previous books about his brothers and now we have his story. And like his brothers he is a strong alpha male who is a cinnamon roll for his girl. Stormy has had a bad time of it losing her mother at a young age and her loving father using her as a replacement and then groomed by a small time mafia man Joey. She’s suffered terrible abuse and when she sees something she shouldn’t have she runs. It’s an instant connection when Stormy latches onto Milo in a bar in hopes the men chasing her will leave. Milo is instantly smitten and helps her through her addiction as well as getting her help from shrink Daxton. When Dax and Stormy are kidnapped by Joey they trauma bond. This was a fast paced book set in a world Emily has established very well in previous books.
No shock here. I always love Emily's books. I commend her for putting hard traumas and truths on paper and giving victims a voice. no, everyone heals the same or follows a traditional path, and Emily highlights that in all her books.
This book was a little less my favorite in the series for two reasons. One because while I love the support Stormy finds in her new family, I do wish she didn't enter in on Dax, Arianna, and Lucas HEA. However, i also like this part because it shows how trauma victims can develop a bond that is impossible to break. Secondly, I think more development of Milo would have been great, too. Give that grumpy man more. I feel like he gets a little lost.
All in all, tho I love this book, the impact play and trauma healing is wonderful. The spicy, delicious, and honestly with the Mafia touch, I think it would be great as more than a Novella.
☀️Trauma Healing 💛Sex Club ☀️Impact Play 💛BDSM ☀️MMF 💛MFMFM ☀️Fake Dating
This is a quick easy read. It follows the themes of the previous books.
This Dark Romance is Book 5 in the Watch Her Series. This book does deal with SA, and healing. Heed the trigger warnings. The romance is a fast burn, with an instant attraction, and connection. There are several descriptive spicy scenes. There are also scenes where the FMC is remembering her trauma. The book moves quickly following the FMC as she runs from an abusive ex boyfriend, while running she meets the MMC, and sparks fly. The FMC is written well with her trauma at the core of her character. The other characters are ones we have seen, and have been introduced to in previous books. The world building is set in the same environment as the previous books in contemporary times. It is easy to pick up the book continuing back into the pre established world.
From the very first page, you'll be immersed in Stormy's heartbreaking past❤️🩹, filled with darkness and abuse. But that's not all - she finds herself trapped in a toxic relationship with a much older man and falls into a vicious cycle of addiction. However, she's determined to break free and start anew, but it won't be easy.
The intensity of the story reaches new heights when Stormy meets Milo, her new addiction. Watch Her Blush is hands down one of the most captivating books I've ever read. Emily has done a phenomenal job weaving together this tale of dark desires, spicy action, and unexpected surprises. Even if you haven't read the previous books in the series, this standalone novel is a must-read for every lover of dark romance.😍
Emily has graciously provided an ARC of Watch Her Blush, which will be available on May 24th, 2024. Don't miss out on this thrilling and emotional ride!
This is the 5th installment of the “Watch Her” series and it was just as good as the first four!
This is a story of Stormy surviving after being an abused and controlled most her life. First by her father and then by older boyfriend of seven years.
She finally makes run for it and stumbled into a bar and into the arms of Milo, looking for safety. Milo instantly takes to Stormy and into “touch her and die” mode. 🥵
Watching Stormy battle her inner demons and build her friendships and relationships was so heart wrenching for me. Emily has such a way of writing heartbreaking shit and making it beautiful.
I always loved Daxton, but Milo is the ultimate book boyfriend! 🫢🥵❤️
AS ALWAYS, please read TW. There is a lot of descriptive scenes that might not be for everyone. Your mental health is important. 🫶🏼
As always don’t forget to check the TW/CW some scenes/topics may not be for everyone.
Emily has done it again with a fantastic addition to the Watch her series, I really enjoyed Stormy and Milo’s story. I loved the ending, it was different and enjoyed it. I have learned from Emily’s books that she will put the FMC through hell and back before she mends them and as twisted as I am I enjoy it.
Watch Her Blush is Book 5 in the Watch Her interconnected standalone series. Though this series can be read as standalones I do recommend reading the whole series as it gives you a better understanding to each character and how the interconnect.
Definitely recommend to all the dark romance reads who love fast paced, insta love, trauma filled fast reads.
Please check trigger warnings!! This is a DARK romance
I actually did love this book - it was really well written and the story was great! It was just missing something personally for me. The author has done a fantastic job so definitely give it a read!
I loved this story! There is no messing around - Emily wastes no time getting into the gritty and I was here for it!
I loved stormy and her story progression so much! Loved how her inner fighter came out and did not disappoint! Milo is such a sweetheart but I tell you what - I’d definitely not be sad to have him in my bedroom! Thoughts were unlocked that I didn’t know I’d even continue to think about 😈
I loved the intertwining characters and the parts they all played - it really brought the whole story together! Thank you Emily!!
If you want a fast burn with an HEA, this is high on my recommendation list!! There are so many great things about this book, but one I specifically want to touch on.
I LOVE. L O V E. how Emily really dove into the topic of BDSM being a safe and effective method to cope with and even heal from SA trauma. I adore the amount of research she puts into ALL of her work, and it really shows in Watch Her Blush. As someone who personally uses BDSM as an outlet, I finally feel valid in that and like I'm not crazy for it. I also love how she made a point to show that healthy coping mechanisms don't always work immediately, and how healing can often be one step forward and two steps backwards. Stormy and Milo are forever going to have my heart
*Watch her Blush* is the 5th book of the "Watch her.. Series*. This book interconnected standalone and can be read as stand-alone but to know each character better i recommend to start with the 1st book cuz they appear in the stories. The books of this series are really good, they are dark, twisted and full of survivors with trauma healing, and its like the MMC's were born to support their women, to give them the voice that was taken from them.
This book tells the story about Stormy and Milo. Stormy is running away from her abusive BF and meets Milo. From the moment when Milo saw her, he was sure, he is going to keep her.
This is a dark romance story with heavy triggers. Therefore please check them first.
