Seventy-two hours; time on dry land for a young sailor.
And how to fill those hours? Go fishing with a shipmate,,,,,or check into Aggie Weston’s and enjoy the delights of Union Street on a run ashore?
Perhaps not. Maybe go in search of that forbidden territory that they call the past.
Seventy-two hours; long enough to meet old friends, or even the girl that he left behind. Yes, that was in his thoughts as boarded the Western National bus that’d take him back in time. But even on the timeless moors, not everything stays the same, and his little bit of shore leave would be far removed from his expectations.
I'm giving five stars for 72 Hours as I really enjoyed it. It wasn't a long story and I loved the characters that Arthur met on his quest to find out where Bethany disappeared to many years before. And he only has shore leave of seventy-two hours to discover the truth. Whether he discovers the truth of not, you'll have to read it yourself to find out.
