Worst book I’ve read in a while. This series had so much potential that was wasted on bad smut and giant plot holes. Do not waste your time reading this book. I won’t waste mine by writing a detailed review.
Writing a review as a whole for the entire series. I normally don’t write anything negative but I wish I didn’t waste my time reading this. The ending was horrible. I kept waiting for something epic to happen and it didn’t. The lead FMC ended up turning into what everyone feared and that just didn’t sit right with me. Also, why was she so connected to Eldrion? Mates? I kept asking why why why for so many things. Didn’t get any answers. The ending was open to something more. But I definitely won’t be returning to this author :/
Again the cover if gorgeous, it makes you wanna get the book just because it's pretty ( yeah I'm that kind of reader ...) but when you read the book and finish it (cause you feel it only in the end) a sens of betrayal is lingering in the air.... I had so much hope for this book, from the characters, to the new found relationship between Elderion and Alana but ... if I was to describe this book in one sentence it would be : " madness meet madness.
This was a tragedy, Alana has lost her mind during this book, and Elderion is a prick .... he saw that she was becaming more and more insane but he did nothing. It feels like the only acceptable solution to deal with their problems was sex .... no conversation, no comunication just two horny bunnies making out ... I mean really ??! Did tthe author seriously found it a brilliant idea? Cause here, we lost an good plot to a litteraly a "fairy p*rn" ...
For this book, I get it if the author decided to make out of it a tragedy ( Come on look at that ending), but from the epilogue, it seems like there is gonna be a sequel with some others main character so I hope next time it would be better.

My ADHD forced me to finish this, otherwise it would have been DNF. I was disappointed, as I thought after the second book the momentum would have kept up. Again, smut for the sake of smut, the protagonist turned from someone who deserved better to be everything Maura said she was. The war fight was so anticlimactic, I actually messaged my friends and said it’s like a horny 16 yo wrote this and I stand by that comment. Honestly, don’t bother, so much left unfinished with the characters, some killed pointlessly, children put in harm that were introduced for a split second, there is a nod to a further book, but I won’t be picking that one up so for me the ending was ridiculous and nonsensical.
Should have DNFd this series. What tf was the purpose of this. The second book gave me hopes for the 3rd, the character development was evolving. The spice was cringe, nothing changed about it but we went from the chosen one trope where we would finally the FMC raise to her potential to a self destruction trope. Not needed, nobody asked for this.
If this was one book, i probably would give it a 4 as a whole, but as a stand alone book it sucked, the last 5 chapters were painfully annoying.
I absolutely loved this entire series! Everything about it kept me craving more. I wish I could stay in this world forever. The characters are all beautifully written and the world building is exquisite! I love all the blurred lines and grey areas that all the characters live in. I will definitely be returning to this world again and again.
uhhhhh okay this ending both made no sense and a lot of sense
i am not sure how i feel about this book tbh, the ending felt a bit rushed to find a conclusion of some sort and it just didn’t hold my attention the way the first two did
overall good trilogy but this last book was a weird conclusion
This series was not what I was expecting. With all the hurt the FMC has gone through, she becomes ruthless and does some very bad things, while one MMC just sits back and watches it happen. The ending im still shocked by with not a typical ending to a romance but still very much enjoyed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/3 🌶🌶🌶
I am so confused... a completed trilogy but the ending is left so open for another book. I found it tiresome towards the end; it felt like it was dragged out when so much could have been added after the "bad guy" was defeated to really round out the ending. Also, lots of small editing issues are hair colour and pronouns getting mixed up.
Out of the three books this is definitely the worst. I actually struggled to finish it. The book ends exactly how you think it will but somehow worse? I loved the first two books but I wish I could go back and not read this.

I was very disappointed with this. I enjoyed the first 2 and then.. something happened with this one. It’s is unfortunate, for it could have been an amazing book.
Four and half star review. Really good characters and brilliant ending to the series. No spoilers review. I highly recommend everyone reads this series. Enjoy!.
