I’m not a fan of Parker. He is written in a way that reminds me of real life rich White men. How they talk, corny AF, and more. Lol. He is a true partner/friend to Rain, but ugh. He irritates me.

I was glued to this book and so sad when it was over.

I loved this book and getting the back story on Rain and Parker's relationship. this story definitely took me on an emotional rollercoaster.

After book one I was definitely Team Nik and after book 2, I have no clue whose team I am on now. I do know that Rain deserves her happily ever after no matter who it is.

After the last book ended in a cliffhanger, I was desperately hoping that this b0ok gave me all the answers I was looking for and book two gave me some but not all. I am so grateful that there is at least one more book left so that I can be swept away by Parker, Rain, and Nik again.

I’m excited to bring you The Days With Rain, Book 2 in the “Let it Rain” series.
Follow Rain and Parker on their passionate twelve-year journey of friendship, self-discovery, loss, and love.

“Years ago, Parker and I made a series of promises to each other. We would keep each other informed of our whereabouts. Regardless of the discussion’s difficulty, we would always tell each other everything. Lastly, we would never deny each other anything.”

In "The Days with Rain" Rita A. Gordon, takes us through an emotionally charged story that explores the complexities of love, devotion, and sacrifice.

Parker, a wealthy and powerful man who wants nothing but to remain rooted in the bond he shares with the love of his life, Rain. While Rain struggles to find herself, to make herself whole, Parker is her constant, and his love knows no bounds. No limits. His unwavering commitment to holding her down is other-wordly. As Rain grapples with her painful past and conflicting desires, Parker waits patiently, pining for her return to him, I was reminded how so often love is both a source of joy and a source of pain.

Parker's willingness to destroy anything and everything that threatens Rain’s peace sets him apart. He’s a man who has everything a man could want at his fingertips, but all he wants is Rain.

I got 12 years of their story and the final pages left me wanting more! I cannot wait to read the next book in the series!

This book reminds me of the series You. Parker is obsessed with Rain (Raven). Once I got to page 169 in this book, I was over it. I started this book months prior to finishing, and it still took me a while to finish. I dont like this book. It's overkill of the declaration of love to the point of obsession. I don't like Parker. He is a rich white boy who has a fetish for the first woman he found interesting. It is too much. Want to finish the series because I enjoyed the first book. But reading 300 + pages of i love you in every sentence is killing me. Parkers mom: Tell her how much you love her. Ma'am he does every single second of the day.🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 I am going to see this through until the end, hopefully. Otherwise, I'm skipping and going to book 3.

Beautifully written book. Lots of details and emotions. I was really hoping for a better ending with all the emotions. Hope the next series has what I want and need!

Parker

I'm not a fan of Parker. These folks are toxic and bad for each other. They are confusing love with obsession. It's too much.

Reading The Days With Rain was an unexpected emotional rollercoaster in the Let it Rain series. The relationship between Rain and Parker was so deeply nuanced, packed with layers of frustration, annoyance, heartbreak, and sadness. When a book can evoke such a range of emotions, I know it's a winner.

Book 2 in the Let it Rain series takes us back to when Rain and Parker first met in college. We get a deep understanding of Rain's trauma and the depth of Parker's love for her. Their relationship, evolving from friendship to something more, is beautifully portrayed.

Tropes such as friends-to-lovers, protective hero, emotional scars, and a jealous, possessive hero are expertly woven into the story. I highly recommend this book, as well as the others in the series. It's a captivating read that will keep you turning pages until the very end.

Honestly, the reason I was excited to read this book was to see what happened after the first book. I read through all of Parker’s and Rain’s past, hoping to see what happened next. The book doesn’t tell you. I assume the third book will have the answers I am looking for. I think this book could have been shorter and would have still portrayed Parker’s and Rain’s connection. I am honestly growing a bit tired of Rain’s character. I hope she has better character development in the next book or at least Parker just leaves her.
