It was really lovely to have an 'older' protagonist, I could see myself in the indecisiveness and the cautiousness of someone who can't just run into decisions the way younger protagonists normally do. I loved Bisou, as someone who grew up around whippets and greyhounds I just love the energy he brings.

What a lovely change of pace this fantasy adventure proved to be for me! Sardan is a story of the power of personal exploration, perseverance through challenges, and the significance of support from others.

I really enjoyed this book’s focus on the deep bonds of friendship rather than a romantic storyline, plus the FMC isn’t your typical teen heroine—she’s 27, ultra-relatable, and it was SO refreshing.

Overall, this is one of those books that reads like it was truly a meticulous labor of love on the author’s part and an incredible debut novel! Highly recommend for new adult fantasy readers, especially if you’re a LOTR fan!!

i absolutely flew through this! it was a really fun and fast-paced adventure/fantasy. loved the characters and their bond. also love that this is purely adventure based and that there isn't a romance plot - it's just refreshing to be honest😅 can't wait for volume 2 to see what happens next 😭

I struggle a lot to keep focus when reading, but Sardan had me completely hooked, I had to consciously tell myself to put it down so I didn’t rush to finish it. If strong female leads are your vibe then this book is a must! Cannot wait for Volume 2!!
