TROPHY CHASE

Rate this book
All the world loves a chase. And what better than a Trophy Chase? Especially when contestants are attempting to locate the largest sports trophy ever created. It is a thing of beauty and created by a famed Russian jewelry house. Indeed, all the world loves a chase when there are millions involved.

This is Burr's second novel, and the stage moves from Washington D.C. to California. His knowledge of Bakersfield, the center of this novel, derives from a grandmother whose family helped found the city, and his own work as a youth in the Arvin grape growing region located south of the city.

Future works from Burr are set in Paraguay, the Belgian Congo, India, Burma, China, Egypt, Alta California ... in sum; with a doctorate in Political Geography, the world is his playground.
