The Three Queens of Oz

Rate this book
The rightful queen rises as a new wizard emerges.
An old foe calls forth another.
Can Oz survive its own ghosts?

With the help of her friends, Tippetarius has uncovered the undeniable truth of her past.

She is Ozma, the lost princess of Oz.

What’s more, her return makes her the rightful queen.

But with the Emerald City still captured and invading foreign powers threatening a total takeover, Tip fears that, despite her being a powerful witch, reclaiming her birthright could prove an insurmountable challenge.

Especially when Sebastian, once her closest friend, has now allied himself with the usurping and self-proclaimed new queen—Zariyah Langwidere—a despot from the neighboring kingdom of Ev.

In league with the mysterious Nome King, Langwidere has already shown herself to be a formidable foe.

But with Sebastian, a wizard—a genuine one—now on her side, the devious, head-swapping princess from Ev might just prove unstoppable.

Tip has acquired her own allies, though: The Woodsman, Emperor of the West; The Lion, ruler of the East; Dorothy Gale of Kansas—a queen in her own right—and Pae Woot, king of the newly freed demons of Oz.

Of course, Tip has her beloved and now intended, too--Rye, The Scarecrow King.

Except when the enterprising Sebastian makes an alliance of his own, a secret one with an old foe who might just share his agenda, Tip soon finds herself short one king.

And, in the blink of an eye, one entire kingdom as well.

amazing!!!

Probably the best series I’ve read so far in 2025. I cannot believe I have to wait until MARCH for book four! I loved every second of reading this book honestly. All 3 have been five stars for me. I have high hopes for book 4.

Wicked walked so The Three Queens of Oz could run!!! And run it does—straight into my top reads of the year. The storytelling, plot twists, romance, spice... everything was perfection. Honestly, this book needs to be a TV series. The visuals, the tension, the plot—it’s all made for the screen. I don't give out 5 starts a lot, but this book was AMAZING. I couldn't put it down. The only bad thing is now I have to wait a year for the next one!! If you loved Wicked and the Wizard of Oz universe/nostalgia, this book series is for you!!!

need the next book asap

Another part of the journey and I can’t wait for the finale. I did like that in this book we got to have more side character development in story as well as relationships. Dorothy and Pae, Sebastian and Morella, even Jack, Nick and Cahal. I have yet to figure out the ending but I can’t wait. Hopefully the expected arrival date of the last book will come sooner rather than later. Would have been nice to have this series as a holiday gift, oh well. In the mean time I’ll enjoy their story and purchase it all when the finale comes out.
I really did like Dorothy and Pae’s final coming together. Though if they had a spin off I would definitely read it. As for Sebastian, even though he’s become the villian I still hold out hope for him. As for Rye and Tip, they really need to have their sexy time moment. And to figure out the rest of their story too.

I almost DNFd the series in book 1. In really glad I didn’t. Pae and his sarcastic comments made me laugh out loud a few times. The ending has me on the edge of my seat waiting for book 4.

I rate this book three stars not because its not good or not a fun read but because I just didn't care for the no limits on the magic. So much important action happens in dreams and that just got weird to me. Maybe I'm not a true magic fan - just how I felt about it.
