Never thought I’d say it but this spent too much time in the bedroom so I never bought into the relationship and the second half was too Tyler Perry Productions for me.

Just silly and horny which is usually my bread and butter but something just didn’t click for me with this one.

A retired NFL player and Mayoral candidate walk into a sex club……it’s definitely giving joke but nothing was funny about the enjoyment that came along with reading The Offer.

We were first introduced to Alisa as Tatum’s cousin in book one of this series. Both were extremely sexually liberated women that enjoyed seeking out pleasure in many different forms. After a night at Secrets, Alisa got the perfect fix and had no idea that she had an audience while doing so.

Christophe and Kadeem were also at secrets that night and were absolutely captivated by Alisa. Their time passed at that moment however all things at the right time and you better believe that when the opportunity presented itself again, they presented her with an offer she couldn’t refuse.

Baby this was a 10pc spicy and I enjoyed every morsel! The chemistry and flow of the story was chefs kiss! If there’s one thing T.M. can do is smoke the hell out of a why choose trope!! I mean with the royal treatment Alisa received from beginning to end I just wanna know how can I be down!! This was sooooo good and despite the terrible narration I’d endure it all over again because the story was just that good!!

This book follows the FMC of the first book, The Oath, Tatum's cousin, Alisa. When we meet Alisha in The Oath, she is portrayed as the wilder cousin. Getting to know her in her own book you find out that she is just a slightly different kind of freaky.

Unbeknownst to Alisa, she had two sets of eyes looking at her at the adult club, Secrets, in The Oath. From across a semi crowded room. Kadeem & Christophe watched Alisa get her groove on. Months later, they visited the club to try to find the beauty that had captured their attention. Low and behold the three meet in Secrets and begin to have conversations about a possible arrangement.

Would Alisa join politician, Christophe and retired NFL star, Kadeem, in an unconventional relationship in private while being Christophe's fiancé in public? This is the question that is proposed in a different way to Alisa and is one that, as she finds herself falling for them both, she is finding hard to determine exactly what her permanent response will be.

What will happen when each of the threesome discover what their true feelings are about the arrangement and each other while outside forces try to dictate how they think it should go? Well, this is what you will find out when you read one of the HOTTEST books that I have read this year. Run and purchase this book, it is not to be denied from your #tbr and from your best of read list for 2024.

Sexy x 3

Baby this was nasty and I was here for all the smoke. We first met Alisa in "The Oath" a friend of Tatum's that accompanied her to the sex club.  Little did she know, she gained some "fans" that appreciated the way she handled the dk in the bedroom. Unbeknownst to her she had two fine azz men that wanted to worship her....mind, body, and soul.

Kadeem and Christophe had been friends to the world and lovers behind closed doors for over 20 years. Due to their professions, NFL Running back and Politician respectively they felt it was best to keep their bisexuality to themselves. After seeing Alisa they felt they found the one to complete their union. Did they know her, nope, but they knew right away she was the one.

When they finally got together it was fireworks, and the men were ready to go all in. Whew the way they took care of her made poly life sounded like a breeze, but Alisa was scared. Scared that these two men would leave her hi and dry like everyone else in her life. So, she tries her best to be cautious but she still fell for them. I liked the individual connections they had, but more/better communication would have made their love story more believable. Nonetheless I enjoyed how their relationship unfolded.

I will say I felt like the ending was rushed. The time spent to to tell us what happened could have been us experiencing it with the characters. Overall, a sexy solid read.

For Anyone Whose Love Language is “Spoil Me”

4.5 ⭐️ This was an enjoyable story, it was so well written! Which shouldn't be surprising since I thought that "The Oath" was a BANGER! As well, in "The Oath" was where we were first introduced to the FMC who is Tatum's cousin, Alisa.

We have the politician, Christophe Bishop, The retired NFL player Kadeem Miller, & the Salon Owner/Hair Stylist Alisa Williams. I feel that the connection between Christophe, Kadeem, & Alisa could truly be felt up off the pages! There were very nasty things that went on in this book, that honestly…. I wasn’t mad at 😂, If I said I enjoyed reading it that would be an understatement 😏😏😏.!

I have been thoroughly enjoying "poly" & "why choose" romances so much lately, & this poly (MMF) romance surely did it for me!

Infinity ⭐️s!

This has been my favorite read of 2024 so far. TM’s Blessed Pen has graced us AGAIN!

When I said I wanted more bisexual men in Black Romance.. this is exactly what I was asking for! The love between Kadeem and Christophe was so beautiful to be a witness to.

Alisa, finding the love that she dreamed of. *chefs kiss*

I will say.. this one definitely had me hot so proceed with caution if you’re going to be reading in public. Carry some extra panties with you.

I'd like to note that this book is in 3rd person and if you listen to audio, the narrator isn't great at multiple voice changes. With that being said, I did like the book. I enjoyed book 1 so much more. The smut is great, but i craved more character development and chemistry between the MC's. a 3rd act break up was NOT needed and I definitely decreased my rating because of it.

This book is capital N Nasty in the best way possible. This was well worth the wait. The characters were written beautifully, the story was beautiful and the cover absolutely eats down. I love the attention to detail and inclusion of after care. I cannot wait for everyone to indulge in and enjoy this book!

This book was just ok to me. I did not feel the chemistry between these characters the way I did in book one. It could be because I did the audio of book 2 as opposed to the Kindle version of book 1. I'm not sure, but I do think it was a spicy fun read, I just didn't get the feels that I did fro. The previous characters.

4.25 🌟 What a phenomenal final read of 2024!!! This year I discovered “why choose” romances and T.M. Richardson has written two of my favorite ones! The spice was extra spicy and I devoured every freaky scene she delivered with the utmost pleasure while living vicariously through Alisa, because my girl was experiencing a real-life fantasy.

Christophe and Kadeem were everything and then a whole lot more! Absolutely filthy and downright nasty in all the best kinda ways! Plus they were the perfect balance of dominance while spoiling Alisa with top-tier princess treatment. If 20-something old me would've known having a husband and a boyfriend was possible, these two men would have been exactly what I manifested in my life! MY GAWD.

All in all, just know I thoroughly enjoyed this read even though I could've used a little more depth with the plot and also would have liked different POVs to be used for the narration. Other than that, this was a freak nasty delight without compromising the emotions felt between all the MCs.

Plot: ⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/⚔️

So this book is very similar to the first book, but it’s a little bit better plot still very smut forward. I liked the FMC and the MMC’s really did not stand out to me.

Richardson!!!! Write your book ma’am! Baby i love a poly/why choose so much especially when done this well. The story just flowed and took me right to the deep in and trust me i sure didn’t mind. Just like The Oath this is for the GROWN PEOPLE WITH OPEN MINDS.

Christophe, the politician, is one Big Alpha. That guy was very dominant and freaky. Also he truly wanted the best for his community. Kadeem, ex NFL, was the freaky sweetheart. These two guys gave to each other and most certainly spoiled my girl Alisa aka Their Princess. Alisa, the salon owner, was absolutely funny, sassy, smart mouth and big freak. The spice on infinity and honey i wouldn’t mind getting worshipped like this. Besides the spice i enjoyed the drama, the friendships and most of all i loved Christophe parents. More parents need to be this way. Oh yea, even though i have the physical book (which i tabbed up) baby the audiobook is absolutely a must.

Quotes:
-“Sexuality doesn’t fit neatly in a box you can check off.”
-“Christophe removed his fingers and licked them slowly. “Hmm…best breakfast ever.”
-“I want you to make me earn this nut, Alisa.”
-“Alisa, nothing is too good for you. Whatever you want, it’s yours.”
-“If fairy tales are for kids, then how do you explain being my princess?”

Aka Big Pressure
3.5 ⭐️🌈
This one right here!!! The way so much of this story spoke to the love of this sub genre. I loved an appreciated the way Richardson choose to give her MMCs two of the hardest career paths in which to navigate queerness and a polyamorous lifestyle. Alisa was a fun and real character I enjoyed her a lot. This whole story feels like taking a risk or a giant “hold my cup.” Instalove in a contemporary poly dynamic. A queer PK football player and pansexual political figure. A plus size Black love interest for those figures. Richardson said if folks like to think non struggle successful Black love isn’t realistic, no problem. Let’s live out all our “wildest fantasies.” They are going to lose their minds over this one! While things went of the rails fast and hard first with Chris after the primary election, then all of them on election night, which I found dramatic and slightly confusing how they went from 0-100. And the reconciliation wraps up a little too quick for me. I need GROVELING!! This is overall a fun, smexy, nasty (in the best ways), spicy read. Mrs. Richardson knows how to pouch my 1-click ticket every time!

This was a lot to swallow. Lots of rough domineering attitudes, and submitting in this one. Many sexy scenes that will get you wanting to take your own partner and do ya’lls thang. But it was a tad bit too much. Just a tad.

I wish we got more of their individual selfs outside of the bedroom. Alisa, we know from the first book which I appreciated. The guys though. I think I like Kadeem better than Christophe. He was just too much for me. In actuality, it wasn’t sexy. It was more of a turn off. He was too aggressive and downright arrogant. So it was weird seeing him crying in later chapters. It was just... not him. I did enjoy and appreciate how the blended family look was written. What a family may look like and what it means to a person. It’s not the “ideal” look. It’s different. I felt bad for the family members that couldn’t accept that.

One thing that irked me was how a couple things were done by the guys without discussing it with their partners; causing unnecessary drama. *huge eye roll

So yes, a very good, sexy, get-your-panties-wet,
put-you-in-the-nasty-mood read for sure. I will be taking a break before the reading the next one though. However, I am excited, it’s Nadine’s turn.

I enjoyed this one a lot more than the first. It maintains relatively the same level of spice but I found the emotional depth of all of the characters to match rather than it being skewed only towards the FMC like it was in the first book.

The banter between the two male leads was great and I liked that book took a more realistic lens of the characters not always being able to "have to it all". I'm looking forward to the 3rd installment more now.

I knew I was going to like Alisa’s book more than book 1 because I loved her in the first book. This book series is super spicy but this one had a great plot as well. The plot twist with the political campaign kept me interested.

T.M. Richardson does it again. I have been waiting for months to formally review this book. Tati, thank you for trusting me as a beta reader.

“The Offer” is part 2 in The Secrets series, a why choose series, that is such beautifully done. I highly recommend this series for anyone new to why choose - like me.

“The Offer” picks up on a subplot from “The Oath,” Alisa, a hairstylist and entrepreneur is looking for a fun time, while also trying to figure out how to expand her business. On her second trip to Secrets, a FUN club, she is approached by Christophe (who is running for senate) and his longtime lover former NBA player Kadeem, with an offer she cannot refuse - a fake engagement while enjoying a poly relationship that can end in a big pay out for her.

T.M. Richardson does a masterful job giving you the right about of storytelling and kink. And the ending was a wild ride. Buckle up!!!!

Let me start by saying congratulations and happy release day to my friend and favorite local author. You are beautiful, bold, and a talented writer.

I can't talk about The Offer (released today) without mentioning The Oath, which I read around Christmas. I'm not much of a smut/erotica/spicy reader. In fact, My favorite genres are memoirs, autobiography, and history. So, when Tati mentioned she was releasing something spicy, I was a little hesitant that it wouldn't be my cup of tea. I finished within hours when The Oath was released; I couldn't put it down. One thing that I love about Tati’s writing is that she makes her characters relatable. It feels like she’s personally writing the book for you, so when she offered for me to read the second book of the series, The Offer, I didn't hesitate, and now I can't wait for book three!

I listened to the audiobook version of this story. This was such a good book. Alisa, Christophe and Kadeem's chemistry is off the charts, and their romance is explosive. I loved the banter between them, they made me laugh so much. Alisa's personality was just perfect. The narration done by Lacy Laurel was superb. She is so engaged and really gets into all the characters bringing the story to life perfectly. The spicy scenes were also amazing and I couldn't get enough.

4.5 enjoyed it

This book was picked as a bookclub read and I really enjoyed reading this one. I like reading about Poly relationships and I enjoyed the dynamics between the characters in this book. I understand why Alisa had some reservations about entering in the relationship between Kadeem and Christophe especially giving the type of spotlight that was place on them. My favorite character is Kadeem because I felt so bad about his relationship with his family. I was happy that he decided to be who he is no matter what he mother said to him. Christophe was very stubborn but I understood why due to his status as a political figure. I really appreciated the difference Christophe mother made in this book because she atleast wanted to understand the nature of his son’s relationship with Kadeem and Alisa. This book was also hot and spicy which I really enjoyed. I loved the fact that TM Richardson explore sexuality in a way that brought representation in romance. This book is one of my favorite books of this month.

3⭐️ and 3🌶️
“A Senator, a Football Player, and a Hair Stylist walk into a sex club’s sauna...”

The Offer presented to Alisa was one she couldn’t refuse. I love a good fake dating trope but at some point when things get very real, there’s always one person in the relationship who is still focused on “this is fake” despite their very real feelings. And sometimes that can get in the way of a beautiful love story.

I wish there was more communication with these three. They kept telling her that she was their missing piece but why was she the one? I feel like we didn’t really know the guys as much as we knew Alisa and it made it hard to see any growth in them throughout the book.

The ending sent me over. Honestly…I could almost get over some of the character development but those last few pages didn’t have to happen - in my opinion.

Alisa is a passionate hair salon owner who embarks on a quest for excitement that transcends the mundane world of her current dating life. Frustrated with dull men who fail to ignite her desires, Alisa believes that no single partner can fulfill all her needs. Inspired by her best friend Tatum, who has discovered love in a thrilling polyamorous relationship with three men, Alisa decides to explore her own boundaries.

I absolutely loved this book! The dialogue kept me laughing, while the unique plot offered a refreshing take on love and relationships. Most importantly, the steamy scenes were undeniably spicy, adding a tantalizing layer to the narrative. It’s a bold exploration of desire and connection.
