My ex was missing, and all fingers pointed toward Jordan, the mafia boss of East Dremest, and one of the men I loved.

Every moment in Jordan’s and Hartley’s arms were filled with more care and attention than I’d ever had. Until the night when Jordan was dragged away in handcuffs before our very eyes.

It didn’t matter what anyone said to me; I had to hear it from Jordan’s lips that he didn’t go behind my back to commit a crime I explicitly asked him not to.

Once I had the answer, the nightmare didn’t end. My ex was still out there, biding his time until he could put a plan in place to get me back. I wouldn’t go. Not now. Not ever.

Gil was in my past, while torturing my present. If only this would end. If only I could be free of him and the pain he inflicted.

At least I had my men to hold me up when I couldn’t do it myself. They were the strength I needed. The best parts of my life. They loved me without reservation.

Until Gil was found and I could live without fear, I’d do the best I could to get through each day.

Vail is an MMM steamy contemporary romance and book two in the East Dremest Mafia series. It should be read after Jordan. Vail features a man trying to escape his nightmares, a caring fashion designer who will do anything for his men, and a mafia boss who’s softening even though he doesn’t want to. There is a best friend’s brother, an age gap, hurt/comfort, and a protective and possessive mafia boss. This book does end on a cliffhanger and will continue in book three, Hartley.

The second edition of the series surpassed the first. I enjoyed the alpha vibes of the MMC. The story was enjoyable and had me engrossed till the end. I look forward towards reading the third book.

Vail by Michelle Dare is the 2nd book in her East Dremest Mafia series. It is the love story among 3 men interwoven with protection, violence, and death as they try to live their lives in the crime world of the East Dremest Mafia. Their story began in the book, ‘Jordan’, where they met and began their relationship and I highly recommend that you read that one first to know what led up to the events in this one. Jordan Altair is the mafia crime boss in East Dermest and whatever he says goes. He is a hard man who doesn’t take anything from anybody and if people cross him, he tortures and kills them without a thought especially if they are after his family. He met Hartley Weathers, a fashion designer with problems of his own, especially with paying his grandfather’s debts, and Vail Ayers, a chef with a past, and against Jordan’s better judgment they started a relationship. Over time this turned into love and Jordan would do and give them anything they wanted, especially his protection, which meant his trusted and faithful guards being with them wherever they went. They understood that because of Jordan’s line of work, which was often illegal, they needed them around and they soon became friends. Vail’s past included a former lover Gil, who was extremely mentally and physically abusive. When Vail left him, Gil decided that wouldn’t do and started sending him notes telling him he couldn’t get away. He even disappeared and left evidence for the police that Jordan was involved, even though he wasn’t and he ended up in jail. Luckily his lawyer and others who worked for him were able to get him out and they started trying to figure out where he was so Jordan would be exonerated. Jordan wasn’t happy about this and wanted to kill Gil but Vail said he couldn’t unless he threatened someone so Jordan complied. However, everywhere Vail went there were things from Gil telling him he had to return to him like letters sent to his house, a picture at a charity auction, and leaving their cabin filled with “love” notes to Gil. All of these things sent Vail into despair but Jordan and Hartley were always there for him, telling him they loved him, and helping him get back on his feet. Then Forest, Hartley’s brother and Gil’s best friend came to stay with them after being estranged for a while and this helped both Hartley and Vail. But they were still worried about Gil doing something and when he did it was epic and catastrophic for all 3 of them. Luckily Jordan had the means and backup to do something about it even though it involved putting Vail in jeopardy but luckily everything worked out and they were able to go home and continue their lives loving each other. I really enjoyed this book as I have the others in Ms. Dare’s different series. I am usually not a fan of dark romance stories but I have liked these because of the characters and the way she weaves the story lines. Jordan is a hard man but he loves deeply and will do anything for the people he loves, including killing if necessary. Vail has been through a lot in his life and the problems with Gil exasperate his anxiety but Jordan and Hartley are there for him and help to get him through it. Hartley is a real sweetheart who is there for anyone who needs him and he shows his love in all that he does with his men. There are many very hot love scenes between the 3 of them that add lots of spice to their relationship. The guards, Vail’s sister and her family, and Forest also have a big part in this story. I highly recommend this book especially if you like dark love stories between 3 men who face adversity head on and do what needs to be done, including torture and murder, in order to get their happy ending. Hartley’s book is next and I can’t wait to read it to see what will happen, especially since Vail is going to take in a young extended family member and I’m sure that is going to add some interesting happenings between the 3 of them.

{Vail - East Dremest Mafia}
ARC review by Jessie Melka
___________•__________

Vail is book 2 of the East Dremest Mafia triology and I have been quite excited to surrender myself to book number two since the first one in the series that ended in quite a cliffhanger which is why I also suggest to read Jordan, which is the first book in the series

“Perfection doesn’t exist in humans we are flawed. Those flaws make us who we are they make us individuals and gives us so much to grow and learn from”

Vail’s ex-boyfriend Gil is missing and one of his current boyfriend is taking the fall because apparently all fingers pointed to him but deep down and on the surface they know it isn’t true no matter what anyone tell them Jordan is innocent and Gil is playing a game that he is sure he’s gonna win

I didn’t sit in the expectations when I started reading this book, but I’m glad to say that they were fulfilled I was pleasantly surprised by the sheer Amount of love and affection this men have for each other. And I’m itching for the last part of the story

There is upsides and downsides of course it was really hard keeping track with all the side characters because every coupling in this book is polyamorous it’s also a lot of the same that’s happened throughout the book. It kind of starts to fill out the boring but I promise you it’s worth it in the end.

“you have a lot of love to give, even though you don’t think you do. your heart is really damn big. We love every part of it.”

I was really happy to see Vail and Hartley grow so much closer I didn’t feel they had quite the same chemistry with each other with Jordan in the first book but I’m really happy that that got turned around. There is also a lot of family aspects to this series that I really admire family has always been my trope so i’m always extremely glad to see it portrayed like this

The book also had a bit of an emotional aspect, especially with Vail’s past with abuse and with that it follows a lot of triggers as well and I will suggest you read about them beforehand because some of the themes can be quite a lot

Michelle always knows how to write the best smut it was extremely well written and makes my heartbeat faster every time

I gave this book 4/5stars because as I said everything was a bit confusing with the side characters but also I really really loved the found family and the chemistry between the characters the plot may be a bit confusing to follow if you haven’t read the first book, but it really is a great book and I would definitely reread it

I truly was awaiting the arrival of this story and eager to see how things worked themselves out. Vail and Hart were left as their man was whisked away by the police. Vail is terrified because he had one explicit request and if it was ignored he will be heartbroken, however he knows he was heard. Jordan is beyond frustrated and wants to get to his men, not only because he loves them but he fears Vail will leave him based on his arrest before he has the chance to clear his name. Behind the scenes Vail's ex is plotting and scheming to further torment and demean Vail. Jordan is ready to go to battle but only one man can sound the battlecry. Jordan, Hart and Vail are reunited after we learn the true extent of Vail's abuse and he allows Jordan to confirm what he knew in his Hart. After going public, Hart and Vail are hit with a blast from the past by Hart's brother, Forest who feels hurt he wasn't told about the relationship. Hart happily puts him in his place reminding him that he has been absent from both their lives and deep in the bottle. He promises that he's working on his recovery and moving to Dremest. After a brief but forceful reunion conversation the men fell back into an ease even working out a middle ground for Jordan. Vail's ex keeps slinking his way into the forethought for everyone's mind but with what starts as a staged collision of Jordan's beloved then when he stages the kidnapping of Vail's family, the battlecry is released and it's all hand on deck. We are given the satisfaction of his demise but another bomb is dropped in the form of an unexpected death that will impact the men and the way Jordan has to operate his business. While this book and series overall isn't as spicy as many of the others, it holds a depth that very unique to this series. We are also introduced to some new characters and some who have definitely stayed in the background. But there are lots of flirty glances and shy smiles of men throughout the story. I cannot wait to read Hartley and learn how the men acclimate to their new arrival. Michelle Dare continues to deliver and creates beautiful and well crafted MMM stories. Each story is truly unique and characters are full developed and each a has their role physically and emotionally. Love is an amazing motivator and when you find the right pairings is it magical.

This is another book in the series about throuples in the world of East and West Dremest, with this installment featuring mafia boss Jordan Altair Sr and his partners Vail Ayer’s and Hartley Weathers. The trio has been together for awhile when a nightmare from Vail’s past rears its ugly head. Vail’s ex has decided that he wants Vail back, and will stop at nothing to accomplish his goal, playing mind games which frighten Vail, bringing his horrible past into the present. Willing to do anything to protect Vail and keep him out of Gil’s hands, Jordan would gladly end the threat permanently, but he has promised Vail he will not kill his ex. As Jordan strives to protect both Hartley and Vail, Gil has a plan in place to challenge Jordan for Vail’s safety, putting his very life on the line. Will Jordan be able to save Vail and keep his promise?

Realistic characters in the mafia world of legitimate and not so legitimate businesses, with ever present bodyguards, kidnapping and murder, overzealous police, safe houses, and shady dealings alongside the daily lives of three men, deeply in love, trying to stay safe in a dangerous world. Lots of action and spicy scenes, and an unforeseen twist at the end.

All of the books in this world have many character crossovers. Luckily, Michelle includes a “family tree” of sorts, listing the characters from each throuple, the book that tells their story, and the way many of the characters are related, as well as a character glossary to help the reader (try to) keep them straight. The plots and characters are engaging, stories flow easily, there is enough action to have the reader on the edge of their seats, as well as humor and maybe a few tears, as you navigate the world and Iives of these intertwined men. A great book and series I would recommend.

This book picks up from the first book, Jordan. You must read Jordan before reading this. If you do not, you will be lost in this book.

OMG! This book, just yes. I have been waiting for it to come out so I could find out what happened after the first book. To be able to have Vail's book and to get to know him better was so worth it. I am really happy that I got to know more of Vail and what he would do for his loved ones and the people he cared about.

Vail doesn't believe that Jordan would go behind his back and do something that he asked him not to do. He stands by Jordan and wouldn't leave him nor Hartley. Vail just wants his ex to leave him alone seeing how it's been so long that he has been away from him. When Vail starts receiving threats and notes from his ex, Jordan will stop at nothing to keep Vail safe. Hartley doesn't believe in violence but when one of his partners is being threatened he wishes that he could be responsible for what is going to happen to Vail's ex.

I love how the three of them stay strong and show just how much they can be vulnerable. It's eye opening and just show how much love they have for one another. They have things to work on but also a life to build together.

I can't wait to see what happens in Hartley's book. I am impatiently waiting for this book to come out. I want to see how their story ends and what all will come next for them.

Awesome job to the author on another great book. This one will be in my rereads for sure. Now I will need to make sure that I also get the actual book to go on my bookshelf :)

I received an ARC through Gay Romance Reviews and this is my honest review.

I was so much looking forward to Vail’s book because book 1 ended with a serious cliffhanger and this was killing me… Jordan Sr., Vail and Hartley. I love those three together. So different one from another but at the same time they complete each other… In Jordan Sr’s book we got to know these three men (focusing on Jordan) and the struggles they went through to be together.
Book 2 in the “East Dremest Mafia” series focuses mainly on Vail and picks up exactly where all went south… boom… cliffhanger…

“There’s nothing pure or perfect about us. Perfection doesn’t exist in humans. We are flawed. Those flaws make us who we are”.

This book has it all. We get to know more about Vail’s past and how it collides with his present. How one person from his past can still cause damage… We get to witness Jordan Sr. falling even harder for his men, Vail and Hartley. The lengths he is willing to go to protect them both. How Hartley and Vail grow closer together. We get to learn more about the guards, the men who protect and risk their lives daily for East Dremest Mafia Boss. I love their interactions, their banter, their personal evolution and that of their unique relationship.

This book ends again on a cliffhanger with Hartley facing new challenges… are these three ever getting a break?

Michelle, thank you for trusting me with this ARC. It’s an honor! You are a true magician behind these beautifully written MMM stories.
p.s: These books need to be read in order so you can keep up with the plot (my “read the books in the correct order” ocd is extremely happy, lol)

********** Contains Spoilers**********

I really enjoyed this book and thought that it was a good addition to the East Dremest Mafia Series, which is set in the same universe as Three Ties Series & Ruined & Relinquished Series and you won’t be disappointed if you read both of those series. I really enjoyed book 2 of Jordan, Hartley and Vail’s story. I thought they were great together and their chemistry was off the charts. I loved seeing Jordan soften even more with having Hartley and Vail in his life. He wants to protect them at all costs but is also not overtaking/controlling their lives. Man, it was absolutely heartbreaking hearing about everything Vail went through with his ex Gil.

I knew that Gil was an abusive a*sehole but was utterly shocked of the extent of abuse Vail suffered through. He’d told Jordan and Hartley that his ex was abusive but not the full details, and made Jordan promise not to kill Gil. With Gil in the wind Jordan will do anything to protect Hartley and Vail, they have even more security on them when they leave the apartment. I loved getting to see some of the guards personalities shines through with each interaction, especially Ollie and Sheldon. I’m looking forward to reading the next book, Hartley and getting more of Jordan, Hartley and Vail, as well as reading more books from Michelle Dare in the future. I’d recommend this book, series, universe and author to others.

At 43, Vail was rebuilding his life and trying to start a career as a chef. Reconnecting with Hartley and moving in with him into Jordan Altair’s penthouse let him finally escape from his psychopathic boyfriend after years of mental and physical abuse. But Gill Cresswell was not about to let Vail go and his first attack was to frame Jordan for his disappearance and assumed murder. Gil was extremely wealthy and very well politically connected and had the Chief of Police in his pocket to name a few and Jordan was immediately arrested. When that plot fails, Gil escalates with psychological attacks that in the end turn physical as he tries to shake Vail loose from Jordan’s protection—Having previously promised not to go after Gil, Jordan walks a tightrope protecting both Vail and Hartley, the two men he loves.
Vail is book two in the East Dremest Mafia Series which is the third set of throuple series set in the City of Dremest/East Dremest Pennsylvania. While it is not necessary to read the first two sets, Three Ties, and Ruined and Relinquished series, they will enhance the background and familiarize you with the cameo characters. While Vail is not a cliffhanger per se like Book One, it depends on you reading Jordan first. Book Three, Hartley, will be released shortly.
If you are new to Michelle Dare, I highly recommend starting with the Three Ties series.

* I really suggest that you read Vail only after you've read Jordan as Jordan ends on a cliffhanger that is resolved in Vail's book *

I enjoyed reading Jordan, Hartley and Vail's romance with the focus falling on Vail and his abusive, evil and unhinged ex. It was great to see how these men, who are in many ways opposites of each other, learn to build a life together.

The unexpected twist which will lead into Hartley's book as well as the possible Oleander-Sheldon story made me very excited to read the next installment!
(The twist is not a cliffhanger as in Jordan)

** There are A LOT of side characters in this book as it merges the excellentThree Ties series as well as the Ruined & Relinquished Series- all of which have polyamorous relationships. So it can be hard to keep track of who is in a relationship with who and how they all fit together if you haven't read the series. A character map is provided in the book which helps **

Suspenseful, gut wrenching and romantic all wrapped up in this story about Vail. I loved every page of this book and could not put it down. So many twists and turns. Suspenseful events that take place but also the romantic side of these three hot men. I love how they coincide with each other and how they make each other feel. So much love and some hilarious moments sneaked in. There are so many different men that Jordan knows, whether colleges, guards or friends, that could have their own books as well, which I'm hoping will happen.

By the end of the story, we get to see another side of Jordan that only his men see. Like he is changing and becoming more emotional with Vail and Hartley. With Vail's past coming to haunt him, Jordan will do anything for the men he loves. Gil is trying to make his way back into Vail's life but Jordan and Hartley are there to protect him and shower him with the love he deserves. Jordan will stop at nothing and will do everything in his power to find Gil and make him pay for what he has done to Vail.

I can't wait to see what Hartley's story is. And also to see if some of the guards will have their own stories to tell. Just when you think this might be the end to these books, another story comes alive.

I am very happy that I was familiar with Jordan's book prior to having the chance to read this one. You would not want to jump into this book without having read the 1st of the series. There's too much that happens in the first book that you'd want to remember to move into this story.

Jordan was a difficult character to like when I met him in the Three Ties series, but his true character emerges to a much higher extent when he's paired with Vail & Hartley. They are an interesting and sensual trio. They play off one another's personalities so well. And considering that all men are in matured ages and full adults, it's great fun to see how their ages make no difference when they connect on a physical level. Jordan & Hartley are beautifully supportive to everything that Vail is forced to go through in this book. His ex consistently added a level of angst that Vail never deserved.

I love that even though there are several Michelle Dare stories with triads, they're all unique and fun. I don't know how she keeps all of the stories straight!

I really loved reading Vail as the 2nd of this series. Though all 3 men have POV chapters, it's easy to see how the background storyline belongs to Vail. I'm really curious to see how Hartley will come out, since the end of Vail is an interesting twist.

I received an advance copy of this book and am volunteering my honest review.

At the end of book 1 we left Jordan being hauled away in handcuff, arrested on the suspicion of the disappearance of Gil.
This book centres around the drama between Vail and Gil and the first thing I thought was Gil had a death wish messing with one of Jordan's men and then I thought well he only has himself to blame when it goes wrong.
There was more intensity to this book as the threats to Vail continue, and as with Jordan we get the story told from Jordan, Vail and Hartley's POV. There was times that you could sense the frustration coming off Jordan as he hands were tied when it came to keeping his favourite men safe. As we learn more of what Vail went through at the hands of Gil, even I was willing Jordan to take matters into his own hands.
As with Jordan the guards have a big part to play and with new character's introduced, I am hoping this leads to another series.
I am falling in love with this world as seeing how Jordan is with Vail and Hartley and how he runs his empire, the violent moments broke up with the tender touches and with further developments I cannot wait to continuing this series.

'And there he was with his romantic words, or as much as he could say at the moment. They weren’t easy for him to admit aloud all the time but meant the world to me. When I glanced at Hartley, it was obvious they did to him as well.
Hartley stepped forward to throw his arms around Jordan’s neck. “Thank you.”
“For what?” he asked, holding Hartley close.
“You don’t realize what you say to us and the impact it has,” I answered.'

I've been drawn to Jordan from the first book I'd read him in, so I'm excited to continue his story with Vail and Hartley. I love all three and the dynamic between them. The story had excitement, danger, and tension. As much as the thought of an abusive ex and stalker is sickening in real life, that kind of looming danger is thrilling to read. I loved the support Vail received from Jordan and Hartley when it began to overwhelm him. And of course Jordan had to find a way to overcome Gil. I loved watching these three men together. And their chemistry was hot. I also liked the supporting characters. I was most interested in Forest. But Cat cracked me up. I can't wait to read Hartley. 5 stars.

Holy Sh!t

This sequel was not a sophomore slump! It's more like a SOPHOMORE PUMP!

Picking up right where we left off on that Jordan cliffhanger, with people in tears and Jordan separated from the men he loves. This was a very tense and emotional plot. Vail past smacks everyone hard, with everyone looking over their shoulders and Jordan getting twitchy to find and put an end to Vail's ex.

We really get to know more about Vail and his trauma and his guards and their past. He really made a connection with them. His Sister, Cat, is hilarious and my MVP character this go-around. Ollie was a close 2nd. His story and personality/demeanor really touched me. Jordan protective instincts are sky high with Gil out in the shadows. Hartley is the sweetest, wanting to care for everyone while setting up his dream fashion business.

The violence is very in your face and Vail's memories will shake you. The spice is good. 3/5🌶. The author gets creative since there are 3 of them at play.

The ending was not what I ever expected!!! 😳 I expected something about Hartley since his Titled book is next, so I'm curious to see where this is gonna go.

**Personal Note: Book # 1025 Total Read**

Vail, Hartley, and Jordan. Chef, clothing designer, and Uber Mafia boss. Three men entangled, with danger and each other.

The bad guy get worse and everyone is affected by Gil’s impact on Vail. Gil’s evil just keeps getting bigger. His effect on the story keeps the action moving along.

I really liked Jordan’s minions (although they don’t see themselves that way). So many delicious personalities I can’t pick a favorite. I liked how loyal his people were to him and by extension the men he loved.

For a man of sixty I would of thought Jordan’s growth was done but that’s not the case. He’s come a long way from the icy man who ruled his empire with an iron fist. The iron is still there but it’s tempered with love and maybe even a bit of kindness (or at least awareness that other people might matter to him).

Lots of characters to keep track of. While I did okay not reading the other two series related to this book I think the reader (at a minimum) has to read Jordan.

I received an arc of this book.

Jordan’s book ended with such drama, I’ve been looking forward to seeing what happens next for Jordan, Hartley, and Vail. This author is so good at creating tension in the plot, a real sense of danger, and well paced action. It is a page turner for sure with really compelling characters. Vail is at the center here, as we learn more about his brutal past with his ex Gil. Gil is an abuser and an overall atrocious human being, but a really good villain to hate. One of highlights for me was getting to see Hartley and Vail grow closer, we get some wonderful one on one time for them to see the love that has grown between them. Jordan is also excellent, I love that the author still lets him be scary and dangerous when needed. I would hate to see him totally tamed, plus his skills are need to deal with Gil. The three of them have a wild ride dealing with Gil and I loved seeing how strong they’ve become as a unit. Surprising ending, not in the cliffhanger way but it was a fun twist. Can’t wait for the next one!

I highly recommend reading Jordan before diving into Vail, as it ends on a cliffhanger that Vail resolves.

This book dives deep into the intense romance between Jordan, Hartley, and Vail, with a spotlight on Vail and his struggle against his abusive, unhinged ex. It's a suspenseful, gut-wrenching, and romantic story about three men who, despite their differences, learn to build a life together. The book is packed with twists, turns, and suspenseful moments balanced by genuine affection and humor between the characters.

I loved seeing how Jordan evolves emotionally, becoming more vulnerable with Vail and Hartley, especially as Vail's dark past resurfaces. Jordan's fierce protectiveness over Vail and his determination to stop Gil from harming him again added an extra layer of intensity to the story.

With a hint of new stories on the horizon, including Hartley’s tale and the potential Oleander-Sheldon plot, the series promises more excitement. I can't wait to see where it goes next!

This book should definitely only be read after reading the first book in the series, 'Jordan'. If you did that, you're in for quite a ride. It's dark and violent from time to time and I would recommend reading the trigger warnings if that might not be healthy for you. I really liked it though. The suspense kept me up for much longer than I planned at night and made it hard to stop reading. The romance was sweet and fulfilling. I still have some trouble really getting a feel for Hartley but I guess book number three might remedy that as it will focus on him. I feel like the relationship development could have been a little more pronounced. There wasn't a lot of change in that between the beginning and end of this book. What I enjoy most is the feeling of found family that you get with all the guards surrounding this triad although technically they are employees, of course. I must say, I feel like this is the strongest series in the Dremest World so far.

Vail by Michelle Dare is an intense and emotionally gripping MMM romance, filled with suspense, love, and heartache. Vail’s journey is a rollercoaster of fear and devotion as he navigates his complicated relationships with Jordan, the mafia boss, and Hartley, the man who stands by his side. Michelle, has amazing writing skills! Vail, was done with Gil, his ex, but Gil wasn't done with him. He passively stalked Vail with malicious intent, then he 'disappeared'. Jordan, was taken into custody as the most likely suspect. Vail wanted assurrances that Jordan was innocent, even though he didn't think his man would go against his promise. This is the story of the three men who are newly partnered facing their first immediate personal crisis and working through trust, loyalty, danger, self esteem, and love. All the feelings are engaged singly and together and we learn a little more about each than we learned in the first book. I highly advise reading the series in order as it will add context. The author has created a violent world that we can embrace and even root for. Jorden, Vail and Hartley are amazing men. Well done! I received an ARC and am happily leaving a review.

A brilliant read.
I’ve got to say I am a huge Fan of Michelle day, and once again I’m blown away with this book. I could not put this book down it was a fast paced read. The three guys Vail, Jordan and Hartley stand strong together. That is what showed throughout this book for me. Vails ex just won’t leave him alone but he doesn’t want Jordan to get involved. Vail has faith that Jordan isn’t involved. These three together are just amazing. That’s what I take from this book. How three people so different come from so unique backgrounds but the triangle of three strong men. It’s not of hate or envy, it is pure love. And when you love that strongly you protect. I cannot wait for the final book in the series. Michele do just blow them out of the water.

Vail, the second book in the East Dremest Mafia series, picks up right where Jordan left off. At 43, Vail is starting anew as a chef, finding solace in his relationship with Jordan Altair and Hartley Weathers. However, his abusive ex, Gil Cresswell, is relentless. Gil’s machinations involve framing Jordan for murder and escalating attacks on Vail, all while leveraging his wealth and political connections.

Michelle Dare delivers a gripping continuation with high stakes and intense emotional depth. While Vail doesn’t end on a cliffhanger like its predecessor, reading Jordan first is essential to fully understand the story. New readers are encouraged to start with the Three Ties series for additional context.

With Hartley on the horizon, this installment keeps readers eagerly awaiting the next chapter in this thrilling and emotionally charged series.

Jordan was arrested supposedly for killing Gil, Vail’s abusive ex that he had gotten away from Vail had Jordan promise to not kill Gil. Jordan wouldn’t go back on that his lawyer got him out, Gil was texting Vail wanted him away from the men he was with. Gil tried a lot of different ways to get Vail alone, Jordan and Hartley went with Vail to destroy a cabin given to him. So Gil kidnapped Vail’s sister and children but couldn’t find them but kept looking finally found the place so Vail told Jordan he didn’t care if Gil was killed so his family would be safe. A detective followed the convoy of vehicles that were going in the same direction and after Gil and his men were taken care of and Vail’s family safe, the detective took care of the mess left there.

Vail + Hart + Jordan = ❤️

4.5 Stars ⭐️

Seriously, these three are my favorite couple of all time in this whole Michelle Dare universe. I love them all but it's Jordan for the win!! His character development is great, he has gone from cold hearted and closed off to the ultimate care taker and sexy AF silver fox...OMG... freaking Swoon! Now Vail, he broke my heart this book. He's suffered so much but it was also endearing to see his men piece him back together with their unwavering support and love. Hart was also great too, he's just another strong and loving piece to this relationship. This book has some action and violence that comes with the territory but it also has sweetness, love and hella steam! It was fantastic, I recommend for sure. I can't wait to see what's next for this crew.

* I received an ARC from GRR, this is my open and honest review *

"....And I would do absolutely anything for them."

Never thought I'd see the day - Jordan being tender, polite ........until he's not !! hehehehe I really enjoyed this story and to say it's emotionally charged would be a total understatement !! This book has a blend of gore and brutality that's balanced out with love, sweetness and affection. It's also passionate, intense.... and some humour thrown in as well. Very nicely done !! I enjoyed the connection the three of them made ..... trust is everything. I'll just add that I didn't feel overwhelmed, as in all the characters and who's with whom, and the story flowed at a great pace, couldn't put the book down. There are some really tough scenes, so keep those tissues handy. And it does kinda end with HEA, so I'm unsure on what's next....but I will say, I can't wait to find out !!

Once again I absolutely loved this book! I mean how can you not. I know that this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I love that Jordan fiercely protects and loves his men and yet never tries to control them or as he tells Vail, clip their wings. He wants them succeed but he wants them to be safe! And he proves that by killing Gil when it means protecting Vail. I love that he waits until avail gives him the go ahead but I’m glad that he finally gets to ok because he deserved what was coming to him. Everything about this book was amazing including the ending and them deciding to take in Gil’s niece to give her the life that she deserves and show her that love that she wouldn’t have gotten if she would have gone to Gil. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next book! And I can’t wait until the new book comes out to figure out how this series continues!!

Vail is book two in the East Dremest Mafia series and is an enjoyable read. However, given that this is an MMM romance, it was not as spicy as I was anticipating.

But I enjoyed it nonetheless. As Vail picks up where Jordan left off, with Jordan having been arrested for the murder of Vail’s ex-boyfriend. But with no body there is no proof. Besides, Jordan promised Vail he wouldn't kill him.

However, all bets are off when Vail has to tell his partners and the police just what Gil put him through.

So, when the threats against Vail begin, Jordan's protective nature ramps up, leaving him determined to do whatever is necessary to keep both his men safe.

And with danger, threats, a few spicy moments, and a surprise ending, this was an enjoyable read full of character growth and I'm looking forward to reading the conclusion of this story.

Spoiler.........

Being the Mafia Boss of East Dremest leaves Jordan always open to suspicion when anything shady happens. One of his partners exes is missing and Jordan is suspected of making that happen. He has sworn to Vail he had nothing to do with it.
Now Gil is in the wind and Jordan is accused of having a hand in his disappearance. Gil was extremely abusive to Vail but doesn't seem to want to stay where he has been put. Away from Vail. Mentally tormenting Vail and finally kidnapping his sister and her kids mobilized Jordan and his guards to once and for all- end Gill. Jordan is no one to mess with and when it comes to his men and son, all bets are off! This is another fantastic book in this series!
