They are ours to do with as we please. Those are our direct orders.
To make her, them, ours, and by the time we’re done with them, they’ll do anything and everything we ask.

In twenty-four hours, Delilah's life took an unexpected turn. When she and her best-friend Cora decided to have a night of fun with four hot masked men, they never expected what would come next.
Now? The two women wake to everyone's worst nightmare.
They're being held captive by the very men they met the night before.

Revenge.
Secrets.
Betrayal.

Striker has orders, but as hours bleed into days, he and his brother's find it more and more difficult to keep themselves and their captives in check. Despite their intent to break Delilah and Cora, Striker and his brothers find it increasingly difficult to view the women as mere pawns for revenge. An undeniable, carnal desire takes root, blurring the lines between captors and captives. Tendrils of obsession begin weaving through their dynamic, challenging their single-minded focus on vengeance.

The cold is the first thing I feel when my eyes blink open. It cuts through the sleeve of my shirt, moves like acid under my skin. My exposed legs break out in goose bumps, and a shiver shakes my body, making me draw my legs up.

Awareness peels back in layers and I notice four things at My hands are still bound behind my back, I’m lying on a hard surface, and the thin material still covers my head, leaving me in blackness.

And my feet are bare.

A violent rush of memories floods my mind, hitting me like a tidal wave.

The terror. My father forced to his knees. His rage. Clyde. Cora’s terrified screams. Gunshots ringing in my ears. Blood pooling at my feet.

And then, them.

Him.

Reaper's words ring in my head.

And I'm here for revenge.

The four men I let pleasure me last night have taken us and it’s all Rune’s fault. How? I’m not sure yet, but things tend to reveal themselves when they’re ready. And people love to talk about why they do the things they do. I have a feeling if I wait it out and survive long enough, they’ll reveal why they took us.

I just have to do as they ask until then.

I’ve been lying awake in this cold room long enough to know I’m in a house that is somewhere near the ocean. The distant sound of waves crashing are too loud to be a lake and it’s cold as f-ck in here, so that means we’re further north.

Delly. She must be so sacred and worried. She’s always been protective of me and not knowing if I’m okay is going to eat her alive. But she’s smart. She will remember what Rune said when they took us, and figure out this is some sort of revenge plot to get Rune to pay up. Which means they won’t hurt us.

Or at least we won’t be killed.

I think.

They are ours to do with as we please.

Those are our direct orders.

To make her, them, ours, and by the time we’re done with them, they’ll do anything and everything we ask.

It’s amazing what can be learned when you crave affection. Touch. Even if the person teaching you is not worthy of yours.

In order for Delilah to let go of all the false things she’s learned in her life, she needs to be broken apart and reconstructed.

Let's have a little chat about this book.

There is/was so much potential!!! I love the bones of the story, but this is lackluster compared to book 1.

I found this book to be extremely repetitive, saying the same things over and over until enough pages were filled to deem it a book. Literally the same thoughts from a character on repeat to that point that even in one sentence the writer repeated the same descriptive words over and over. I ended up skimming the last 30% because I wanted the gist of the story to unfurl and was so disappointed with how little progress and actual storyline there is in this book.

Take all the repetition out and this would have been 10 chapters.

Finally I could get to know the boys on a deeper level and their behavior in the first book made more sense.
I’m so excited to learn more about their past and what really happened with Hunter because he seems like and angel and I am sad we don’t know why he had to die.
I feel like Delialah and Cora are more complicated than they seem. I sence something dark in them and not from the boys but something that’s been in them from the start.
Sooooo curious how Breaker will continue….

“Your mind, your body, your fucking soul belongs to us.”

Oh my good GOD. This was significantly darker and filthier than Prey and sheeeeesh these masked men are fucked but I love them. It was definitely more complex than Prey, but I devoured it for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Cora is a little sass pot but she’s full of trauma and demons. I liked that it doesn’t just focus on one of the FMC’s we get insight into everyone’s mind.

The sneak peek into the MM moments are mwah chefs kiss gimme it ALLLL.

They have strapped her to the table belt around the neck… NO THAT WAS THE HOTTEST SCENE EVER.

Viper and Striker… FMLLL stop teasing me you horny fucks🥵 “Just admit it already, Strike…You would love me to be your goodboy. Or maybe you’d be mine.”

Rune seems like a vile human being and I want him to SUFFER BADDDDDD.

The trauma bonding between all of them, and how the guys can switch up from being fucked in the head to caring so much for the girls and hate when they hear them having nightmares or crying🥺

Cora and Delilah that relationship is sweet and hot at the same time😭

Fuck me dicks are flying everywhere it’s like where to fill, the girls holes or the guys mouths. I don’t know where to look first. Dicks coming at me from all angles. They’ve all taken turns coming in Delilah🥵🥵 But the mouths on these men… just wow.

The plot seriously be plotting and I cant wait to dive into Breaker😍

Book 2 of the Unmasked series definitely does get darker and leaves off where book 1 ended. We finally get the background stories of our Masked Men. Specifically Striker in this story. He definitely has a traumatic past before he was found and brought to this "School" where he met his other brother's. Both Delilah and Cora were separated for sometime but it was just all part of their strategy. Their strategy to get Delilah to understand what type of man her father truly is. She ends up hearing the horrible things Cora endured by the hands of her father. Then, Reaper is showing real reasons to further understand why her father is awful. Delilah truly understands even more there thirst for revenge other than the one singular reason. Please check your TW before you read!

Absolutely incredible

Oh. My. God.
I need more! Right now.
I am so invested in this deep, twisted storyline.
The sexual tension between characters is so thick, you wonder how they don't choke!
I am SOOOOOO ready to keep peeling back the layer of both the characters and where on earth this story will lead.
I have absolutely no clue where this will go! And as someone who has read way too many romance books, and find stories, while still enjoyable, somewhat predictable, this is the most refreshing series i could have stumbled across.
I am so freaking pumped to keep reading this series!!!!

This gets an extra star for the smut alone! The group scenes? Peak RH behavior. Michelin-star quality. Chef’s kiss. Because honestly…the storyline is dragging, it’s repetitive, and time feels like it’s at a full stop. Good thing there’s smut to cover it up like spackle on a cracked wall.

And HOW are we in book two with basically zero unmasking? One reveal does not count, your honor.

But despite all that, I’m still absolutely feral for this series and will be seated for the next book like it’s opening night at the movies.

no cause i actually loved this?!?

kinda feels like a dark romance version of a ‘i’ve been kidnapped by one direction’ wattpad book, but instead of being pop stars, they wear skull masks and are trained killers. 10/10 would like to be chased by them through the woods xoxo

Oh man, this book is messy, angsty and super smutty…I couldn’t put it down. I have read my fair share of why choose but very few with another woman in the group. The various relationships developing between Cora (my favourite), Delilah and the guys are fascinating and compelling. I’m jumping straight into book three because that was a doozy of an ending.

Not as bad as I've got ready for. I wish the development to be faster and not so much water at times. Characters think a lot about the same stuff written in different words. I'd love it to have more action.

This book was 🔥🔥🔥 whoa!🫣 brutal cliffhanger at the end ugh. I love how even though it was Striker’s book, we still got Delilah and Cora’s POV. I loved continuing to get to know their characters. Curious where the series goes!

I honestly didn’t expect to love this book the way I did but here we are. I’m loving the multiple characters POV, it’s been so well executed and it’s so easy to read through without getting confused. The plot is plotting despite it being spicy, and I’m here for all of it. THAT CLIFFHANGER THOUGH…. Yeah I need to start breaker asap!! I need the rest of the series as well bc i don’t know how I’ll manage to wait months for them 😭!!

Here’s some of my fave quotes in the book

“His darkness smiles at the demons living in my head. We’re drawn together, all our darkness seeking each other out, needing to feel seen and heard.”

“She has demons darker than ours”

“You don’t discover how loud the silence is until it’s all you can hear.”

“Funny how the mind creates chaos when nothing else is present.”

Final review w/ notes below:

This book was written so well! The plot, story line, characters! ALL OF IT!! You MUST like smut to read this book, but if you like smut with a dark story line, this book is a must! The relationships, back stories, and build up are so beautifully clear in this book.
This is a MUST read type of book for dark romance lovers!
Please read the TW's before reading, as this is not intended for someone under 18!

Tropes: MMMFFM, Morally grey, mafia, why choose, friends to lovers, best friends, military, captive, forced proximity, un-alived, masked me, BDSM, imprisonment, flashbacks, CNC, spankings, ridging, bi-curiosity.

Beautiful art for the chapters. I love how each character gets their own pretty art at the beginning of each chapter as the POV changes.

Have you ever read a book and there was that one chapter that made your jaw drop and you think, "WTF did I just read?" That was Chapter 9: Cora! But holy sh*t was it good!

One of the main Tropes for this book is Bi-curiosity, and it's not just one of the MC's, it's for multiple!

-"Negative attention isn't always good attention. I should punish you for being such a brat."
Reaper

This book has me so emotionally involved it's scary! Scary good! And I'm only half way thru at this point! How the connection with the characters is evolving is AMAZING!!!!

I have never had a book that I have had to put down to think about what I just fing read! Like, I'm mind blown at this right now, and I'm only on chapter 24. The mental fu*k that these girls are going thru! (Now I know why the author said that this was the hardest book she's ever written!) But it is soooooooooo gooooooooood!!!!

Thruout the whole thing so far, just finished chapter 28, you get to know Striker and the guys. But chapter 28 puts a LOT into perspective as to what kind of guy Striker really is! He's soft and hard, strong but weak, and he's selfish and selfless, a true Gemini. The way he wants to touch Delilah just shows what Striker is like inside.

-I've never been kidnapped before, but this sure isn't what I imagined it would be like. It all feels weirdly domestic.
Delilah

-"Maybe instead of telling her she belongs to us, we should show her."
Breaker

DO NOT READ Chapter 31 anywhere but at home, with no one in the room! I said WTF about chapter 9, but 31 beats it!

-"Hold on, Kitten, and keep your eyes on me. I want to see you come apart."
Reaper

WTF!! Cliffhanger!!! WOW!

OMG!!!!!! I am so in love with these characters and this story. The cliffhanger at the end had me so emotional.
The way that we got to see into the guys lives and really understand what happened to them. Well at least from Strikers pov.
I'm still in love with Reaper. His darkness is so alluring. He draws you in and you just can't seem to break out. I do love Striker too. His character is so complex yet he is the one that has the most love to give it seems. And don't even get me started on the audio for Striker. Corvin King has brought this character to life and made him unique in a way only Corvin can do. Absolute perfection!!!!

Fanny's writing is amazing. She gives the reader exactly what we all want and she doesn't mess around. I wasn't always a why choose girly it took great books like these to get me to open up to the idea and now.... I'm not sure I'll want to go back lol.

When I was asked to be on the street team for Fanny Lee Savage and her books. I hadn't read any of her work. I chose a series, this series lol. And she now has a fan for life. I can't wait to continue these books and check out all the other ones she has written. I can't recommend this series enough!! Must read!

Striker is a deliciously dark, steamy why choose polyamorous romance that is impossible to put down. This second installment of The Unmasked series was even better than the first book. The story is significantly darker and steamier than book one, as well as emotionally heavier, so make sure you read the content warning. It takes off right where Prey ended and the plot thickens quickly. In this book we get to know Striker more in depth, as well as some of the guys' upbringing, and how they came together. The character development of the guys shines through as we get a peek into their motivations and emotions. Showing moments of tenderness with the girls and each other, even within the darkness of their nature presented character depth and made me fall in love with them even more. Seeing the girls not only dealing with the circumstances of their kidnapping, the trauma of their past, their desire and lust for the men and each other, and the revelation of some very painful truths was an emotional roller coaster. Definitely a must read!

I ASKED FOR MORE AND MAN DID FANNY PROVIDE!!! 🤭❤️ The darn chokehold this series has me in is rather concerning but enjoying every minute of it!!!

The first book was short, quick, absolutely feral and filthy.. but this one? THE SAME but much longer (no pun intended) 🤭🤣 we got to learn more about the men and it totally explained book 1.

I seriously couldn't have asked for anything more in what I read. I LOVE Striker hes probably my favourite ... 😍 but theres something so captivating about Reaper i just cant ignore it. This book had me locked in the entire time... every. single. page.. and i most definitely didnt see that coming!!! (IYKYK) another one ill be recommending any chance I get ❤️ ON TO THE NEXT IN THE SERIES!!

This series is called unmasked, but no one took off their mask.

I don't think i would have been a good editor(especially because I can't spell well), but i want to edit this book so much. To be honest, when I first saw the book length.I was so excited because I loved the first book so much. However, this was too slow and a bit disappointing.

There was so much sexual tension, but the author kept taunting me throughout the book. Don't get be started with the men on men's actions, almost non-existence. Urgh!!! I really wanted some action.

Positive note, they really took care of the girls, but I felt like I missed out on reading a better book.

Decent Character, drawn out storyline

The MCs story doesn't progress in this book much. The flashbacks were insightful to the MMCs, but there was NO reason for this to pretty much be only one MMCs POV.

Didn't feel my attachment to the MFC D and only slightly more with C because of trauma bonding.

It would've also been nice for one person go proofread it. Between numerous spelling errors, the phrasing was clunky.

I’m not saying this story or characters are bad… but is the functionality of apostrophes REALLY that hard to understand? I’m pretty sure I can’t even read book 3 because I can’t deal with you (and apparently your editors) thinking that plural words require apostrophes. Please hire a proofreader for books 4-6 that are supposedly coming but aren’t out yet. Maybe then I’ll read.
