GENRE - NON FICTION / BIOGRAPHY.

The Prince of Port of Spain or Calypso King what ever you name him, he was one of the most exciting cricket talents of my time.I remember growing up as a child watching his advertising on TV, the commercial would go on saying Lara! Kya maara!!! Meaning Lara what a fabulous knock!!!, this was post his 375 vs England at Antigua.I loved his flair & flamboyance. He was like a musician who played his instrument on the cricket field, he was by far my favorite Cricket player across all formats most importantly he played in era when West Indies Cricket was going down hill and I often seen him play one man show kinda innings and sometimes even win it for his team. Sorry Sachin Tendulkar.....☹

ABOUT THE BOOK - The author has done a fantastic job gathering information about Lara from various notable sources and created an interesting and well explained Biography, also the author is not all praise for Lara and it doesn't seem to be a one sided affair but a very unbiased description of Brian Lara.
The book also has pictures from Lara's playing days specifically the record breaking innings of 375,501 and 400 Images as well as all his stats and personal record he accomplished in the game.
I would higly recommend folks to buy this book if they enjoy reading 📚 books on cricket and or Biography of a Cricketer 🏏.

The book also has some conversation in Carribean English however that is easily understandable like for example "yeah mahn!" Or "hush yuh arse nuh,Lara still the best Batsman in de whole westindies"🤣

The book is written in simple English and apt to new readers aswell as experienced ones you all will love it if you all are a Brian Charles Lara Fan's.

Thanks you 😊
