Disappointed. I hate to leave a bad review especially since it has a few lovely examples of home or personal items to make. but there are no specific instructions for the actual item!! Ex: excerpt for making a pillow-
Cut your fabric to the desired size for your pillow cover, adding seam allowances if necessary. If using a pre-made pillow cover, skip this step. Use a fabric marking tool to draw your desired sashiko design onto the fabric, ensuring that the lines are evenly spaced and symmetrical. Thread your needle with sashiko thread in your chosen color and knot the end. If desired, place the fabric in an embroidery hoop to keep it taut while stitching. Begin stitching along the marked lines using the running stitch technique, working from one end of the design to the other. Maintain even tension and spacing between stitches for a uniform look. Continue stitching until the entire design is filled in, adjusting the length and spacing of the stitches as needed to create texture and visual interest.
I even went all the way to the back of the book, expecting to find more information and templates, but no, nothing else! it’s just a picture then these generic instructions! I don’t know what others may expect but that isn’t what I consider a step by step guide! Perhaps it -hopefully- is just the kindle version
