He met her in the street one day and wanted her to be his ever since. Nearly five years later, he finally found her again.
Didn't he?
The girl who caught his eye across the lecture hall certainly looked just like her, but it didn't make sense. The one he was looking for was famous now, ridiculously so. Her music had been inspiring it's listeners for years. But the new girl certainly looked like her, had the same kind of beauty and fragile aura. Admittedly, it would have helped if he'd kept track of what she looked like...
Die-hard romantic CJ Pearce is a man with a mission to mend a broken heart. It was the unmistakable but well masked pain in her songs that made him fall in love and he won't settle for anything less than a rockstar. The hope is that the girl he keeps seeing will lead him to his dream woman.
He has no idea just how well faith will guide him.
Parallel to Corri Lee's 'I'm With The Band', 'His' tells the story from his side. Ideal for those new to the story, 'His' contains no spoilers of the series' previous titles. The tale is told afresh from a new perspective, the hurt he felt and the secrets he kept woven with dry humour and a lot of laughs.
Two sides of the same coin have never looked more different.
Self-publishing author and self-confessed fantasist, I vent my ideas into novels that I strive to make emotionally provocative and addictive. Music is referenced heavily and is a huge influence in the way I write. Those who know me well will see the pieces of my personality that I put into my words. Those who don't will see outrageous story lines, gut wrenching twists, raunchy love affairs, and heart stopping romance.
Jaws will drop. Eyes will burn. Cheeks will blush. Pages will turn. If just one of those reactions is evoked from every reader, then I know that my time isn't wasted.
I write in the hope that my work will be enjoyed and the word will spread, knowing that I made a mark on the world for just 'being'.

FEEDBACK
Author: Corri Lee Title: His
COVER: 6/10 The readers thought the cover was very good. They liked the central image and the lettering on the word ‘His’. However, a number of the readers felt the blurb was a little ‘awkward’. One reader put in his feedback, ‘This book is very well written but the blurb has no flow to it and is generally rather confusing. It misrepresents the excellent prose in the book.’ Another reader put, ‘Although the cover is very well put together, it sort of suggests darkness and horror which is not what the book is about.’
CONTENT 8/10 The readers very much enjoyed this story of love, romance and hurt feelings. They liked the two central characters and felt invested in them by the end of chapter three. Many of the readers commented positively on the way the author developed CJ and helped the reader get into his ‘slightly warped’ mind. One reader (woman, aged 45) put in her feedback, ‘This was a very enjoyable read and I thought she had an excellent handle on her characters, particularly CJ. I particularly enjoyed chapter 16, when he finally gets her into bed. It was very well written and, often, rather funny. I loved the last line: ‘Dream of me Caspian.’ ‘I will, you beautiful girl. Why change the habit of a lifetime?’ A number of the reader commented on the sex in the story. One reader (woman, aged 49) put in her feedback, ‘This author can write sexy. Very sexy! But also she keeps it from slipping into porn. A very thin line to walk, but she walks it with style.’ Another reader (man, aged 37) put in his feedback, ‘I thought CJ was going to turn into a killer/stalker but the ending was very happy and very sweet. It surprised me.’ A few of the readers thought the story was a little slow in the middle: Chapter 7 – Chapter 12 and a good editor might shorten this part slightly and work on pacing. Another reader put, ‘I liked chapter twelve. This was the chapter where the two central characters were in bed and didn’t instantly have sex. They actually talked and it was interesting to read.’
EDITING 8/10 The readers discovered no problems with grammar, spelling or punctuation. One reader (woman, aged 36) put in her feedback, The author has a very descriptive and insightful pen. Throughout this novel, there are many moments when she shows her thorough understanding of her characters. Well done!’
STYLE 8/10 The readers felt this book was well written with a good balance of speech and setting/character work. They felt the author worked well with speech, the characters speaking very naturally throughout the story. A few of the readers felt a good editor would pick up on a few parts of the plot. For example, when Amelia pushed the Mercedes ‘to the limit’ but still ‘stayed within the speed limits’, An almost impossible thing to do I should think!
TO SUM UP 30/40
