This is book two after shattered reflections and I enjoyed this so much! Rating:4.5. It hit even better than the first one for me. A must read. It had the dark romance, the suspense, the raw emotion you want. So so good.

I am grateful to be given this opportunity to read this as an arc!! The way that I devoured this within one sitting!!! The twists this one had was just so freaking good!! I loved the dark romance aspect of this, but the emotions that it pulled with it has my heart 🥹💕 What are the best things about this was the cameos from both shattered reflections and twist me ‼️‼️ sooo freakin stoked to seee it!! 💕💕💕 sign me up for anything SK!!!! 💕💕💕 I love the little play to fairytale that given throughout the stories 💕💕 ! 10 out of 10 recommend go read yall!!

This book is the second in the series, so I would definitely recommend reading Shattered Reflections first.

Addictive is the first word that comes to mind when trying to describe this book. I loved seeing Micah and Ivy grow during over the course of the narrative, both individually and as a couple. This book had me on the edge of my seat and in tears (more than once) and it shattered my heart into a million tiny pieces. The characters of this book have to deal with some incredibly intense trauma, (please check your trigger warnings) in an attempt to overcome the world of darkness that surrounds them.

I absolutely adored this book, and will most definitely be reading it again.

Wow !!! Where do I even start with this book !!! It’s the second book in the reflection series and wow is it ever good !! I thought the first was my favourite but this one !!!! Wow !!! It ripped my heart out in all the best way!

This book follows Micah and ivy through their journey!
Ivy fights her demons but is also in love with Micah but he is a cop and she on an unaliver how will it ever work out

Micah is a cop who finds and save ivy and falls in love with her but will he go to the dark side to be with her despite him being a cop or will he break for the girl he loves and go to the dark side !

This is a dark romance with some spicy but is also has a raw emotion to it that will break your heart !! I am absolutely in love with this book it had me on a rollercoaster of emotions!!

This book sent me on a rollercoaster of emotions. The funny moments, the sad, the angering, and the happy. You feel everything throughout this book and I’m obsessed. SK has not only become one of my top authors but an auto buy author. I dont care what the book is about, if SK writes it… I’m reading it. Reading Shattered Reflections then jumping into Caged Reflections was such an amazing experience. Micah and Ivy deserved this story and it’s beautiful. Please please read it, you will not regret it!!

With the reappearance of our beloved detective Micah, SK has captured my attention once more. But in this tale, we witness the most horrific experiences—some of which are so painful that you might want to have tissue available, phone a friend, you know what go ahead and just schedule your next therapy session.

Micah and his relationship with Ivy are at the center of this tale. And Ivy is woman saved from an organization whose primary goal is to profit from the innocence of the young.

It is clear that the author's purpose was to unnerve readers. The phrases on the page will undoubtedly give you goosebumps and leave you completely shaken.

Although I did not get the ending that I would have desired for these two, I am quite satisfied with the overall story.

This book continues along with Micah and Ivy throughout their lives. Micah and Ivy have this amazing chemistry, but one thing keeps them apart for so long, Micah being a detective, and Ivy is an unaliver. Ivy has had a hell of a past that Micah inevitably saved her from in book one, but with that harbors a lot of anger in Ivy, and she wants revenge. And boy does she get it.

I loved this book, Micah just broke my heart. I just wanted to hug him!! This book was fast-paced, with lots of dark themes, emotional scenes, and great spice!

Oh S.K. how I adore you!
Every one of the books I have read by this author to date have been absolutely dark, decadent and twisted… I cannot get enough! Book two of the Reflections series explores the surface level mismatched pairing of serial unaliver Ivy and Micah a cop whose commitment to the job will be sorely tested. To tease the most dedicated fans, the appearance of some much loved character’s from previous books, Shattered Reflections and Twist Me, are a highlight that will delight.

By far one of my favourite dark romance writers, S.K. works the gamut and range of emotive and psychological thrills into yet another raw rollercoaster of spicy suspense riddled surprises. The result— a story that unravels beautifully upon each page turned. Caged Reflections has me further ensnared in a word trap of romanticised darkness that I never want out of.

I’m so happy that Micah got his time in the spot light! You first see him in Shattered Reflections, but in Caged you get to deep dive into his world. He’s a total golden retriever with a dark side and a dirty mouth👀👀
Ivy, this poor girl has been put through the ringer! She has a dark family past and a hard exterior, but there is also something vulnerable about.
Micah wants Ivy for everything that she is, scars and all. Watching their story unfold I had a lot of different emotions run through me. Happy…sad…confused…emotionally spent…🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️..

This is book two of Shattered Reflections. Just like I loved Shattered Reflections I loved Caged Reflections. This book ripped my heart out but then put it back together! I absolutely inhaled this book in one sitting! The action and suspense had me glued to the pages! There was no way I was putting this down. SK has this magical way of pulling you into her world, and the cameos and tie-ins from Shattered Reflections and Twist Me were just 👩🏻‍🍳💋‼️

This time around, we're back with Micah and Ivy. Micah, our strait-laced detective, has rescued Ivy from a nightmare where she was literally caged—yes, you read that right! Now, Ivy’s on a mission of healing and revenge, serving justice to those who hurt her and other women and girls. Meanwhile, Micah is trying to catch the "Cinder" serial un-aliver, but here’s the kicker…he has no idea the woman he loves is the one he’s after!

This book was so damn good, full of twists that had me gasping and going, "Wait, WHAT?!" I devoured it like a bag of chips couldn't stop, wouldn't stop!

I’m obsessed with the sly fairytale nods in the Reflection series! First, we had those Snow White hints in Shattered, and now the Cinder(ella) references in Caged is absolute genius.

SK does it once again. Always shocking me (but in a good way). So much happened that I can’t even put it all into words without spoiling it for the rest. I was so ready to see Micah and Ella/Snow White/Phoenix together again, I definitely needed more scenes with the pair. I was so sad for Micah until SK said “SIKE!” in that one scene and all seemed to be right in the world, though his parents were a real piece of work. Can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Caged Reflections is book 2 in the Reflections series and it did not disappoint. A story of survival and being accepted by some that will love all the broken pieces.

Ivy was caged all her life. Whether it was a gold cage or an iron one she was trapped. Trapped in a hell she was saved from to the hell that was in her mind she fought her way to seek justice from those who hurt her. Cutting her way through her capturers trying to bring justice for herself and all those who had been taken, trafficked, abused, beaten and left for dead. Hiding who she has become and the murders she has committed from people who only want to help her.

Detective Micah Quinn has been searching for his Little Ghost that changed his life after she disappeared without a trace. There have been murders going on in the city that has a very specific calling card. He has been trying to crack the case and find out why they are targeting a certain crime ring. He gets caught up in trying to save and find his Little Ghost that he doesn’t know he has being watched. His case is being sabotaged and he doesn’t even know that it is.

This book was written so well. So many twists and turns. I literally wanted to through my kindle through the wall and send SK Pryntz a message asking WHY!! I cried so many tears. I was heartbroken and so very sad for the struggle these characters were going through. All the characters have survived in one way or another. Being strong in their own right and fight.

I will read anything that this author writes! Her books are gripping, suspenseful, spicy, soulful, beautifully chaotic and with so much vengeance. Caged Reflections was one book I will read over and over again and will live rent free in my mind for years.

If you have read either shattered reflections or Twist me then you have already been introduced to Detective Micah Quinn. Whether it’s hunting down serial killers, or bringing patients to hospital 12, Micah Quinn has stuck with me. Now we see that not only has he rescued another victim he found him self falling for her. When she disappears he doesn’t know how to move on so when yet another serial killer is hunting sex traffickers and rapists Micha is on the hunt. I won’t lie to you this book has a ton of triggers and isn’t for everyone. If you are an unhinged book goblin like me who uses those warnings as a shopping list …. Well then this shopping list is LOOOONG. This isn’t a fairy tale and these relationships are a *tad* … well toxic for lack of a better word. But in these pages Sk Pryntz shows that even those who are caged in their past and haunted by memories they wish they could forget that doesn’t mean the end. It just might mean that you are on different paths and in different stories and just a turn of the page can bring everything out of the darkness.

This book is intense, and heartbreaking, and deals with trauma beyond belief. That being said I give it a million stars and know that I will be reading this again. These pages are full of darkness, twists, and turns that will leave your head spinning. I read this book nearly in one sitting with only a break to sleep, and I feel pretty accomplished that I only cried about 6 times. Make sure you are in a good place mentally if you have triggers and read those warning as there are some of the darkest ones in this book.

Quinn fighting for a life with Ivy, why can't they have a HEA!! I was on the edge of my seat reading this and SK sure knows how to throw in a few plot twists!! This book made me mad, happy, angry and cry for these characters because they've been through so much. Must read Shattered Reflections and Twist Me before reading Caged Reflections but trust me, it is well worth it!!

This rating shows 4 but I would give it 4.5. As with all of SK’s books there is A LOT going on, in a good way! The storyline between Micah Quinn and Ivy was insane. there were so many moving parts in this book so many different players… in fact, some of my favorite were brought back to crisscross into this book. Of course I’m talking about Goliath from Twist Me. Yes, he didn’t have a big part, but it doesn’t matter I like seeing his name It reminds me of his well you know. Size :)

Back to Caged Reflections, this book is dark. There was a scene in it or I should say a chapter that really got to me however, it was written so it wasn’t like in your face dark, but you knew what was going on. I can’t even imagine it happening inreal life, but of course it does every day to helpless victims. Please make sure to check your triggers before you read this book. There is a whole grocery list of them. In SK’s fashion this crime/thriller/dark romance throws so many curveballs at you that you’re almost holding on for dear life until the end when everything comes together. It’s a book that keeps you locked in, it does give you the dark romance vibe if that’s what you’re looking for, but it also gives you a plot and a lot going on to keep you excited.

Make sure you read Shattered Reflections first and I would even go as far as recommending Twist me as well. You need that definitely to be able to figure out the characters, especially Shattered Reflections, which is the first book. If are looking for serial un@livers, absolute chaos and spicy tossed in there this one is for you.

Buckle up, Micah and Ivy’s story was a wild ride. I felt their book was darker than Shattered Reflections (I liked it, just pointing out) so please review the author’s trigger list!

Man, they go through it to reach their happy ever after. SK takes no prisoners in this book. I found the plot intricate, especially with three point of views with the addition of No One. The twists and turns keep you guessing, and there are several what the heck moments throughout. No character was safe, let me tell you.

I can only really state how this book made me feel as I want to leave a spoiler free review. I ranged from happy, to sad, to shocked, to horrified, to mad. You really want the villains in the book to get what they deserve.

Micah and Ivy do get their happy ever after though and the progression of Ivy throughout the book, the way she takes her power back after the hellscape she endures, the way Micah accepts her as she is, her dark parts and all, how he NEVER gave up on her, how and what he sacrifices for her?? It really elevated the read.

This is a no holds barred dark romance read, and while I enjoyed it, proceed at your own risk!

Oh Mr Quinn, you delicious haunted soul.....

Book 2 of 2 in the reflection series, This book follows on from Shattered Reflections and follows Ivy and Micahs story.
When I tell you I was not prepared for the rollercoaster of emotions this book took me on.....  I felt like my heart was ripped out and handed to me at one point. I had to keep putting it down to process what was happening. I. Was. Shook!
As with other books by SK this is dangerously dark (yum) and super spicy(yum) but my favourite thing about her books is the story that flows through it all. I am a newer reader in this genre coming from reading exclusively psychological thrillers. I have found that alot of dark spicy books rely on the shock factor of the darker parts to carry the book and I was really missing the twists and turns and shock value of a good plot. The plot and storyline is always the star of the show with SK Pryntz, which has quickly taken her to the top of my favourite author list, everything else is just a bonus. I absolutely loved the journey this book took me on, even if I do feel like a need some down time to recover. I need MORE! SK you are a true Queen of the Dark. Bravo 🖤

Wow, just wow. I liked the first book but the second book was even better!!

That phrase “little ghost”🫠🔥 <— idk but I freaking loved it!

Micah is a cop who tries to do good by capturing the bad guys and trying to save the victims / people.

Ivy has a lot of demons going on she’s fighting and tries to distance herself from Micah because she sees him as sunshine and she doesn’t want to dim his light.

This book had me feeling all types of emotions.
It made me laugh, it made me giddy, it made me mad, & it had WTF moments that were holy cow🤯🤯

This is a second book so you def have to read the first to understand what’s going on.

10/10 def recommend!

I absolutely love anything that Sk writes. I love that she makes sure her readers know their trigger warnings. I love how each trigger is listed before the start of each book. I always listen to the playlist as well when I’m reading. The playlist definitely fits this book perfectly. The cover is gorgeous. I really enjoyed Ivy and Quinn’s characters. The book was gripping from the very beginning. I loved that Micah was there for Ivy from when he first found her. Ivy is so strong for making it through everything that she had gone through. I liked how he called Ivy his Little Ghost. I was not a fan of Quinn’s parents. That’s all I’m going to say about them. I think one of my favorite lines from the book is “ I love every piece of your soul, Little Ghost. I love your past, your pain, your guilt, your grief.”

Holy freaking Moly?!?!?!

And all it took was a little push and betrayal to become an unhinged person!! Ivy actually went to death and came freaking back!!! I'm soo confused, shocked and overwhelmed!!

This book was sooo freaking hooking from the very beginning !! The amount of trauma and the twist and turns and betrayals , was unhinged and chaotic!! I didn't expect to have read such a psychotic Novel!! It's never for the faint of the heart!!
Though I loved this book and i loved seeing the characters from the previous books especially Phoenix and Lucius

PLEASE read the trigger warnings before diving into this book. It is extremely dark and heavy. This is book two and you must read Shattered Reflections first. You can feel the growth with each new book SK puts out. She has easily became one of my auto buy authors. If she writes it, I am going to read it. The rollercoaster of raw emotions this brings out just whewww. Micah and Ivy deserved to have their story told and it was so beautiful. After the first book Ivy wanted her revenge and boyyy did she get it. I really am obsessed with SK’s writing and I devour every book she puts out. Do yourself a favor and read this book! You will be so thankful you did. I’m still reeling.
Again as a final warning, please read the author’s note and trigger warnings. Your mental health important and you want to make sure this is a book you can handle.

Well fuck me sideways, I loved the first book, but this has topped it, no it's knocked it completely out of the park!!

Micah and Ivy are amazing. Micah is a cop, a detective who has devoted his life to service, first the army now this. A true hero!

Ivy is the daughter of a Russian crime boss, the child *** ring he is head of, is a sick sick business and his daughter is treated no different to those he captures and steals from their families.

Micah is light, Ivy is darkness but together they meld into a perfect blend of colours.

This has spice, twists and turns and at one point it ripped my heart from my chest !!! But what a beautiful end to an amazing story. 💗

Okay, I read this in one sitting, and I've been trying to gather my thoughts since then !
This one was tough, I felt soooo much for Micah! Hes been through so much(not saying ivy and lana and other characters havent) but my man, he deserved so much and got so little. 💔 everything he endured and went through, and seeing his character development go from strong to wanting to end it, to healing, it was just something.

This is book 2 of the reflections series, so read book 1 first. There's also crossover from the asylum devils series, so it helps to read that too so you meet the other characters. This is dark, so read triggers!!

I thought I loved book 1, but this one is probably my fave now! It just did something to me. 💔💚
