NLP and Health

Rate this book
A well-written, easy-to-absorb guide to healing, change, and a healthy way of being in the world.

Health is not a possession – it’s a process. It’s something we do, the result of how we think and feel, a state of mind and being.

Nearly 2,500 years ago Hippocrates taught that being healthy was evidence that an individual had achieved harmony both within themelves and with their environment. The authors of ‘NLP and Health’ believe that this is equally true today. Their book demonstrates how to use NLP tools to bring your mind and body into harmony and to explore the enigmatic key to your own state of health – yourself .

Discover how your heath is directly related to the internal world you create for yourself. Find out how your emotional state affects your immune system, and how to deal with it. Learn why being ill doesn’t always mean you’re unhealthy. Understand how to combat the build-up of stress and worry, and how to use your senses to gain pleasure and increase your mental power.

NLP and Health explores ways of enhancing the incredible natural healing powers we all have within ourselves, and of actively engaging in the process of being healthy.

I found this book very helpful indeed. I showed me my own metaphors for health and the language I use to describe health and what it means to me. I would highly recommend this as a book for your library or even your bookshelf.
