Phosphenes

Rate this book
n. phosphene /ˈfɒsfiːn/: a ring or spot of light produced by pressure on the eyeball or direct excitement of the visual system by mechanical, electrical, or magnetic stimuli.

In this case, there are entire worlds hidden within and behind the eyes of the author, evoked when looking upon things, places, people, and souls intermingling with his.

"Phosphenes" came about as flashes of inspiration captured as free verse while traveling in distant lands with only a pen, paper, and the will to live freely and fully.

These poems stain the white of the snow, desert, and hearts of anyone who reads them.
