Lorraine Carey is one of my favorite writers. Her novels are always intriguing, exciting and amazing. Each one of her books had me hooked from the first page to the last. I had been waiting for her next book and here it is!!!!!!! “BETWEEN THE REALMS” The author has outdone herself in this fabulous novel. The characters are wonderful and the plot is filled with adventure, romance and danger from the beginning to the very end. Time travel is my favorite topic. I walked around the house with the book in my hand I just could not put it down. I loved Dylan’s desire to go back in time and relive some of the happiest moments in his life. Jennifer was the girl he loved back in the 70s and he decided to take her back with him to a time when everything seemed to be so perfect and so simple. The desire to go back was accomplished but never they realized the dangers they had to face while trying to get back to the present time. This is and irresistible plot that will keep you captivated in each word and each page. I finished the book but I wanted more. This is a book I would recommend to anyone who loves time travel, excitement, danger and romance. Good job Lorraine!!!!!!!!!

With an absorbing narrative, Carey captures the vibe and atmosphere of the 1970s flawlessly, offering readers a chance to immerse themselves in the golden era of rock and roll. The characters are not only well-developed but also very likable for the most part. While Jennifer's interactions with Dylan are entertaining, I also enjoyed her friendship with Paul. The plot has its share of surprises to keep readers hooked. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and heartily recommend it to romance lovers who don't mind dipping their toes into the paranormal genre.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Author Lorraine Carey’s novel in the genre of Time Travel Romance is “ablaze” with passion between groupie, Jennifer Kovich, and lead guitarist of a local band, Dylan Anderson. The author busts all the right moves bringing the Seventies alive through infusing the story with time-sensitive fashion, glittery makeup, a rooster-motif kitchen, muscle cars, strobe lights, and whatever rocked the era.
The edgy story featuring characters who step out of the pages and into the reader’s psyche, is fraught with suspense, danger, sinister motives, and heartwarming family dynamics. The concepts of time travel woven throughout are plausible and scientifically digestible.
I highly recommend ‘Between the Realms’ which pulsates with all the electrifying energy of “Smoke on the Water”.
Take a Journey Between the Realms, a time-traveling adventure with Dylan, a lead guitarist stuck in a mysterious cult, and his blast from his past girlfriend, Jennifer Kovich. This story will take you to an incredible place of magic, secrets, action, danger, and much more.
I was intrigued by the author's writing and imagination. She took me out of my reality and into her mind with so many plots and twists that I had to turn the page for more. It was in the 70 era, which I enjoyed immensely.
I felt as though I was back in the 70's along with the main character with the author describing the settings so vividly. I enjoyed reading about the science behind the time travel methods used. I was torn just as Jennifer was whether to stay in the past or return to the future. A highly recommended romance read!
