A native of Iraq, Michael Paul began his life as a dedicated Muslim. At the age of twenty-three, through the witness of a friend and the miraculous intervention of Jesus Himself, Michael Paul surrendered his life fully to the One True God, Jesus Christ. As a result of his unwavering commitment to his new faith, he was persecuted by, and eventually lost all contact with his family. Through his journey, he has suffered multiple kidnappings, and has been physically tortured many times in an effort to convince him to deny his faith in Jesus. As a result of his proud service as an Arab/English interpreter to the U.S. Military in Iraq, Michael was eventually granted security clearance, and by the grace of God, received his green card and permission to come to the United States. He now serves as an ambassador for Christ to Muslims and the world. The letters contained in this book were written during the two-year period that Michael was in hiding, underground and homeless in the Middle East, hoping and praying to obtain admittance to the United States. They were, at times, his only communication and outlet to the outside world. I know you will be blessed as you read these words from a man wholly surrendered to the Gospel.
