What an absolute cute story! I loved every minute of it. It had just the right amount of spice mixed with storyline so you could really see how the characters’ love story grows! Though i dont know know much about sports, i like that it explained and simplified things in a way that was easy to understand and also connect with the story as a whole! The little t-swift easter eggs were also fantastic! I enjoyed that the fmc knew her worth and didnt settle for the first guy she had a good date with because he wasnt treating her how she deserved and in the end she found true love and it was beautiful! I also really enjoyed that there was some non-american history intermingled in this book because it created a bigger picture and made me really want to visit norway one day! Overall great story and cant wait to see what happens in book 2!
I truly adored Stars In Her Eyes and it had me invested from the beginning. This story was beautifully written and descriptive with the most dreamy moments and a love we all deserve. I thoroughly enjoyed Olivia and Anders and together they are perfect. This book contains the perfect amount of spice in the most dreamy settings with the best friendship group as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it and I personally cannot wait for the next book in the series. I received a complementary copy from the author.
This book sucked me in and held me tight. I loved this book. The way anders and Olivia met and fell in love was magical. I need an Anders in my life. Loved everything about it
I am swooning over 'Stars in Her Eyes' by Ashley Snyder, an emotional rollercoaster you won't want to miss.
Right from the dedication page, you know Ashley Snyder's book is going to be special: 'This book is dedicated to anyone who refused to settle for less because they knew they deserved more.' How beautiful is that?
I started reading 'Stars in Her Eyes,' and before I knew it, I was 196 pages in. This book hooks you from the very beginning!
One of my favorite quotes? 'Don't look for the firecracker, look for the fireplace. Too many people want butterflies and fireworks, but sometimes the warning signs can feel like butterflies.' So true, right?
The story of Olivia's journey through love, friendship, and self-worth just keeps getting better. Her love interests make you feel like you're right there with her, experiencing every heartache and every moment of growth.
And can we talk about the setting? From Chicago, Aspen, Seattle and Norway?!?! I’m definitely googling a trip to Norway after reading this.
I’m giving 'Stars in Her Eyes' 4 out of 5 stars and 4 out of 5 for spice. Ashley Snyder delivers heartfelt romance and deep emotional connections seamlessly.
I can’t wait for the second book. 'Stars in Her Eyes' is absolutely amazing and a breath of fresh air. If you’re a romance lover, this one is a must-read!
This was such a sweet, easy read, romance! I fell in love with these characters. The whole undertone of falling in love under the stars makes me emotional, because that’s exactly how it happened with me and my hubby ❤️
Olivia, a travel influencer who is tired of the awkward deadend dates. Shes independent, bubbly, and knows her worth! FINALLY a social influencer who has a brain. I feel like most books who have an influencer as a main character like to SAY they are independent/mature, but write them as airheads. This book was the opposite (THANK YOU)
She mets Nick, the restaurant owner who steals her away on his motorcycle from another atrocious date. But Nick has a busy life and cant give her the attention shes looking for. But when he sees her with Anders, the & quiet, viking, metal head... Who also just so happens to be her new neighbor... Nick regrets not giving her what she needed from him. Will she give Nick a second chance, or see where this connection with Anders goes? The author did a fantastic job at giving us the #tattedmmc trope: the catch both male characters have tattoos 😏🫶🏻 Its the little things for me.🤣
If you simply need a cute love story with a bit of zip, this is it! It’s a very quick read with a couple that doesn’t face many major issues. The plot is pretty straightforward, and Olivia and Anders bring out the best in each other at a point in their lives when they’re ready for it. Their chemistry is great, yet they left me wanting more depth to them. They’re both beautiful, they both have excellent careers, they have great things going for them, and they were pretty surface/stereotypical level for me. The conflicts that occur are quickly worked through, and there isn’t a major climax or high action point in their story. With the addition of Nate, there could have been a bigger arch here with drama including him or a bigger challenge for FMC & MMC to work through. I read it quickly because I enjoyed their story, and I was flipping pages in hopes that I’d find more action, drama, conflict, etc. I’m eager to hear my book club friend’s thoughts as well.

The story weaves a tale of the love between two incredible characters. The FMC is a travel blogger with a lust for life and sharing her experiences. The MMC is introduced a little bit into the book as there is a “test” the FMC faces with a potential suitor. Side bar - I wanted to love the potential suitor but SO glad he didn’t make the cut. When we meet the MMC who is a PT in sports medicine He is a bit reserved but as he continues to develop his relationship with the FMC we see how his quiet love for her comes out. We learn that he is from Norway, loves screamy metal tunes, has tattoos and plays guitar.
This book was easily one of the best debut novels I’ve read. The storyline. The spice 🥵🥵🥵. The development of characters. It was fantastic.
I absolutely devoured this novel! If I hadn’t known it was a debut, I’d have thought it was penned by a seasoned pro! The writing is simply gorgeous, and I felt so connected to the characters. You’ll instantly fall for Olivia, the main character, and be her biggest cheerleader from page one to the grand finale. She's a fierce, fabulous, independent woman on the quest for her one true love! The book strikes the perfect balance of romance and spice—yum! I would’ve slapped a shiny 5-star rating on it, but there was a little piece of the puzzle that felt mysteriously MIA, leaving me scratching my head. I craved that closure to be totally at peace with the ending. But hey, that’s just my quirky brain! Seriously, grab this book and show some love to my amazing friend!
So I got this book as an arc read and boy did I need it! This book was such a great read for me and I’m not giving it a 5 star read because I got it as an arc I’m giving it because it was such a great love story friend to lovers and it also reminded me of my start with my husband. This book made me laugh, and kick like a teenager in love again. The spice was also spicing!!! 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 I loved Olivia she knew what she deserved and she went for it and I loved how caring and kind she was. The writing was so good I loved the side characters and wanted to know there stories as well. Can’t wait for the next book and so excited to have found another author to put on my list of always buy
Stars in Her Eyes was a book I've read multiple times since it came out.
Ashley Snyder really wrote one of the best contemporary romances I've read with the right amount of spice into it. I related so much to Olivia in the story, especially when it came to her being so independent, but also wanting to have that love story. It's not easy to let others in, but when it's the right person, the sparks and chemistry are out of this world. You have to kiss a few frogs to get your prince! Ashley's writing style is beautiful and so many quotes from her writing really stood out to me. I can not wait to continue reading this series and seeing where Ashley takes it next!
I absolutely adore this book! If you are looking for a 4 star spicy romance, this is the book for you!

I love that Ashley gave Olivia the chance to find the love she deserves and not be discouraged by few “failed” attempts. A few of my favorite quotes from the book: “You calm me, you are my gravity.” “Being with you is like being in constant daylight.” & “I’d fly to the Moon & Saturn if that’s what it took to make you smile.”
Enjoyed this quick read! Some plot twists and good character development, really enjoyed the actual love interest! 🌶️🌶️.5 on the spice scale with a nice female forward attitude. Independent Author and as her debut book, it was good writing, some of the tense was off and the punctuation errors were an issue throughout, just had to read through them. Interested in the rest of the series!
