This series just keeps getting better with each book! I loved the three separate mysteries featuring our main detectives and the two other couples in their own adventures.
As usual, Pineapple Pirates is a well written page turner! You can't go wrong with an Amy Vansant book!

I enjoyed this book. All the usual characters are present but this time they are going it alone, well not exactly they are working with there other halves. This means you have three very different story lines going on and each chapter is dedicated to a different couple. The story does jump around because of this and normally means just when they find themselves in a sticky situation it jumps to the next but it is done in such away that is not confusing, stays entertaining and it's not long before you are back with them again so you haven't forgotten what was going on and I think it actually enhanced the story done this way. The laughs and quirks you (or at least I ) have come to expect are still present to keep you chuckling, just not on such a big scale. It was fun having the characters working with there other halves, I know it is normal for Charlotte and Declan, believe it or not but Bob gets involved this time around. Each case is very different and in different locations making it the perfect Honeymoon for Charlotte and the perfect book. I can't wait for the next book.
Charlotte and Declan are on there honeymoon, they just have one small thing to do before they can start enjoying there free holiday and that is find the vandals trying to stop the resort on the topical island from opening. The problem is with all the ghost stories, pirate legends and a killer on the island it's not so simple. Will they survive there honeymoon? Darla and Frank are in Tennessee to visit her cousin but there feet hardly touch the floor before they are in a group of people that gets kidnapped at a party. With guns pointing and an old grudge to settle will the couple make it back to Pineapple Port? Mariska thought being left behind was going to be boring but when of the residents dies mysteriously and with Frank and Charlotte both out of town she has no choice but to investigate. If she can just convince Bob that she can't do it without a partner. Especially when things get complicated and a possible second murder is uncovered. Can Mariska solve a cold case too?
I was given this free review copy book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I received Pineapple Pirates as a giveaway and enjoyed it. It is #21 in a series that states you can read them independently or in an order. While this is true, it did not matter that this is the first one I have read in this series, it still felt like I missed a few background details about some characters. Because of this it took me a little but of time to get invested in the characters' stories. Once I did however, it was a fun and easy read.
There are 3 separate mysteries going on in the book. Charlotte and Dean are newlyweds on their honeymoon on a tropical pirate island. They are also there to help out at the resort by trying to figure out who is sabotaging it from opening. Mariska and Bob, classic bantering married older couple, are trying to figure out who could have possibly killed their neighbor Marty or if it was natural causes. Frank and Darla are swept up in a kidnapping. There were some twists I saw coming and others who kept me guessing. Overall, a delightful cozy mystery!

Three Separate Mysteries at Once
This book is the 21st book in a fun, clean mystery series. In this episode, our main character and her new husband are headed to the Caribbean for a free working honeymoon. One of the senior moms is headed with her sheriff husband to the hills of Tennessee for her cousin's birthday. The final pair is left in Pineapple Port to hold down the hatches as a murder takes place. All three mysteries have twists and red herrings and are so much fun! These clean stories are free from foul language and have minimal violence and no gore. Suitable for all ages! This is such an entertaining and enjoyable series! I have read them all and still can't wait for the next episode!

This book, like the others in the series, is a refreshing take on a murder mystery. There are numerous lighthearted moments and some that made me laugh out loud. One of the things that I loved and that set this book apart from the others was three distinct storylines. While I love Charlotte, Maritska, and Darla together, giving them separate storylines within the book made everything more complex. Personally for me, seeing Darla and Frank as well as Maritska and Bob working with each other and showing true affection for their spouse was eye opening. Really has a hard time putting this one down!

The book can be read as a stand alone book. It has 3 stories in one book. Darla and Frank go to Tennessee for Darla’s cousins birthday, Mariska and Bob solve a neighborhood crime and also a famous actress’s murder. Declan and Charlotte got to the Bahamas and have their own pirate adventures.
I totally loved this book. I liked the equal splitting of the stories to show what the couples were up to with Charlotte gone. This book was hilarious! I love all the characters! The mysteries were authentic and plausible. I loved the new characters of Hurricane Hattie and Looney. lol. I highly recommend this lightheaded, hilarious book and this great author! It was hard to put it down.

This is a great story. Unfortunately, it is the wrap up of the series. I enjoyed it. There are three mysteries with each grouping undergoing their own investigation.

Charlotte and Declan are on a working honeymoon, Darla and Frank are in Tennessee, and Mariska and Bob are in Pineapple Port. All are solving their own mystery.

Can be read as a standalone story.

I was given an Advanced Readers Copy and am not required to leave a positive review.

This series had a great run and I enjoyed every story. The author did a great job and the couple did well in solving their mystery.

Refreshing change

I am such a fan of all of the Pineapple Port books. They are all equally good. This was no exception.
I so enjoyed reading about Frank and Darla and Bob and Mariska having their separate adventures. In previous books they always seemed to be bickering and complaining about each other. This time they showed that each one truly does care about and love their spouse. This was a refreshing change.
Of course I always love Charlotte and Declan’s adventures.
Can’t wait to find out what they get up to next.

Another fun, fairly short read in this huge series. Set (mostly) in a retirement community, the series is full of interesting characters and crazy events.

This one is partly set on an island in the Caribbean, partly in the retirement neighborhood, partly in Tennessee. Follows some characters in each setting, during goofy, dangerous, sometimes touching moments.

A great read. You'll want to finish it in one sitting.

Awesome as always!
Declan and Charlotte are off on their island honeymoon, Frank and Darla are off to Tennessee for a family birthday and Bob and Marishka are home taking care of the dogs. As usual highjinks arise, but our intrepid "detectives" are separated by distance and each couple has to rise to the occasion and get everything back on track. Great addition to the series, and - there's a PARROT on the island with Charlotte and Declan. Highly recommend!

Charlotte and Declan are on a working honeymoon investigating pirate treasure, ghosts and resort vandalism. Meanwhile Frank and Darla are on a trip to a relative and find themselves in trouble and Mariska coerces Bob into helping investigate a local murder while everyone is out of town. Fun and mayhem and clever detective work ensues. Thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable.

Book 21 in the series

Two stories in one novel. Charlotte and Declan are invited to stay at a new resort in the Bahamas for their honeymoon in exchange for finding out who is sabotaging the place and trying to prevent it from opening. Meanwhile Mariska and some of the other Pineapple Port people are involved in another mystery. A great read.
