An Amish Widow's Prayer
She rushed to the pantry to hide her tears from the children and quickly sent up a prayer.
“Gott, please give me the strength and patience I need to raise these buuwe. Please guide my actions and my words to raise them in a way that pleases you. The older they get, the harder it becomes, Gott. I don’t know if I have the strength…” Sarah trailed off as a tear slipped over her cheek. Being a single mother had never been a part of her life’s plan. She drew in a fortifying breath. “Please, Gott…Amen.”
After losing her parents at a young age and then her husband before their twins celebrated their third birthday, Sarah Dienner had given up on love and happiness. She focused all her time and energy on surviving each day while raising her busy boys. She never had a moment to care for herself, let alone, a spare minute to think about looking for a new husband.
Adam Hauptfleisch the farmer next door who leased the Dienner farmland, had not spoken much to Sarah or her boys. Seeing as summer was just around the corner, it was time for him to hire some help. This year he wanted to try something different...Not realizing how fruitful his proposition may be.
The longing to have a whole familye yearned in each of their hearts. Until now, Sarah had forgotten what it was like to find herself caught in a man's gaze. The sparks were undeniable. They reignited the flames of love that have been snuffed out for years.

Happy Ever After.
This book was just enough of a different slant make it so enjoyable. I love these faith based stories that use God’s word as part of the dialogue!
