I don’t recommend this book. It’s inconsistent in relation to ASL—defining some things in terms of letter hand-shapes that seem needlessly complicated for hearing babies, but also using right/left hand instead of dominant/non-dominant. There also aren’t pictures for every sign, and some of the ones without pictures really need them.
A short, but useful, list of ASL words to introduce to your baby or toddler. The book also includes some advice on common problems that occur with teaching your child ASL.
This was a very short book, that didn't really relay any new information about the benefits or implementation of baby sign language and I don't necessarily agree with the signs the author chose as essential.
