Star rating for first story: Wanted: One Dragon Rider for a Persnickety Princess.
It took about halfway for me to enjoy this story, but then it just clicked in the middle and I kind of wished it would continue throughout the anthology.
Then I read the second story that was written by Richard Fierce and that turned the kind of into please let me go back and read the first story. Honestly, the second story annoyed me way too much because you don’t preach about peace, justice, anger and violence is never the answer and then end it the way he did.
After that I had to stop because every story after was threatening to have my eyes be stuck in my head from rolling them so hard.

So in all I’m torn because the first story was good. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters, they do grow on you. I loved the worldbuilding and things were explained. It felt like a full story like I’d read it again in a heartbeat. The others it kind of felt like trying to ford a raging river with no rope or anybody around for miles to help if you slip.
I want to recommend reading the first story and maybe you’ll enjoy the other stories.
