Wow!

I absolutely love the Men of Evergreen Mountain series! Yes, I like Bear, but I love Hunter! Bear is relatable, like you can see him as a real guy, but he still has the fictional flair of a hot as heck mountain man who quickly falls in love. I don't care if this series is all steam and smut with no real plot; this is Evergreen Mountain GOLD! Where can I find a place like this, where I can find my own survivalist off-gridder husband with a protective streak and a love of family? This is absolutely swoon-worthy! I can't wait to read the next book!

En la linea del libro anterior es una historia con amor a primera vista, sin a penas profundidad o desarrollo en los personajes y todo pasando más rápido de lo que debería, pero con personajes que sí tienen una personalidad, unos miedos y unos deseos, que sí tienen cosas en común y a los que uno puede creerse estando en una relación juntos.

Esta vez hay una dificultad en la relación —contrario al libro anterior que todo fluyó como la seda— por los miedos de Bear, ya que no está seguro de que los "felices para siempre" existan y teme hacer daño a la persona que ama. Echo de menos algunas paginas más para profundizar en ésto, pero aún así Frankie es capaz de en tan poco espacio hacernos entender porqué Bear tiene esos temores, cómo eso hace peligrar la relación, cómo ella se siente ante dicha dificultad y cómo él encuentra el valor para solucionar las cosas.

De nuevo, amo el ambiente cálido, relajado y suave de la historia. Se siente cómodo y bonito leer estas pequeñas historias de Evergreen.

Finding a new life! This is about Char and Bear. Char is going to visit her friend Savvy and finds Bear, too. Savvy and Char go way back now that Char is looking for a way out of her current state of homelessness. Bear is there to help with the gazebo but ends up liking what he sees and takes advantage of offering his home, as Savvy has a baby and Char will have to take the sofa because the cabin is small. Bear has issues with commitment, and Char wants it more than ever, so what will happen to both of them when Char is offered the job of her dreams?.

Lightning Strikes Twice

3.5 stars - Charlene "Char" Hill and Bear are all kinds of insta, that's for sure. The attraction is there, and it's hot. The sticking point between them is resolved with little fanfare, which I found to be disappointing. In the end, I didn't connect with the characters.

I love reading anything by Frankie Love. I am really enjoying this new series by her. Char is visiting/staying with her friend in the mountains to figure out her next steps in life. She meets Bear when he comes over to help build a gazebo. There is an instant connection between them. Bear never expected to meet someone like Char and he won’t let this chance pass him by. Will they get their happily ever after?

Char and Bear meet when Char accepts an invitation to stay with her friend Savvy. From the moment they meet sparks are flying and the more time they spend together they realize they belong together. This is a fast paced, short, and sweet instalove story with believable characters, fun banter, and a happily ever after. Their Love Nest is book two in The Men of Evergreen series and I look forward to reading the rest of the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Bear and Char meet at Savvy and Hunter’s and from the moment their eyes meet, they feel an instant connection. They immediately hit it off but soon Char is offered her dream job and Bear must decide if he wants to continue to resist committing, and possibly losing Char, or take a leap of faith. Another steamy instant attraction story in this series. Char and Bear are great together. I received an ARC copy of this book.

It’s a straightforward story, and our main characters are ordinary people, but the chemistry between them is undeniable. Like in real life, things aren't always perfect, but they manage to resolve their differences and pursue their happily ever after.

This is another fun and steamy read for the series and I love that there wasn't too much drama to deal with. There is some angst as Char has to decide whether to stay or go back to the city, and Bear's troubled past weighs in heavy for him. You can expect a steamy romance that showcases over coming fears and getting that fab HEA :D

This was great.

This was another sweet and steamy read by Frankie. It’s quick easy, simply to follow and will boost your new year reading goals!! This one was more spicy than book one.

Great addition to the series. In this one Char who is friends with Savvy from the first book and use to work with her at the diner is now out of a job and has no place to go. Savvy invites her to stay with her and Hunter til she can get things sorted out. Char meets Hunter's friend Bear and there is instant attraction between them. Bear offers Char a room at his house since there is more room than with Savvy, Hunter and their new baby. Things move rather quickly between Char and Bear and start to heat up. Both have things in their life they need to work out and become closer realizing they have a lot in common. This was a wonderful read with a great HEA.
