Past revealed, future unknown
Epic. The heroine is torn who to trust. Quite a few fights she fights alone only to realise that she has to trust someone. Just in time she trust not only one but all her friends which are all willing to help and to fight for their and the kingdom's freedom. Soon after the deciding battle she learns of her heritage and has to sit down for it.
Can't wait until the next book will be released. To me it is a wonderful series which is suitable for anyone who loves to read about adventures, and to do the right things.

Hiding in the shadows!
The atmosphere at the Academy is more strained and explosive than last year. An overheard conversation alerts Kaela to traitors in their midst and sends her on the most dangerous mission yet. Failure will mean the end of Lyria!
Danger, treachery, spies, and traitors - I was up all night reading! I received an advance copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

I was given a review copy of this book and I enjoyed the fourth episode where Kaela and her friends must fight against a coup.
The battle for power is rife through Lyra and Stonegarden is in trouble.
The characters suited the plot and I loved the use of magical gifts.
This was well-written and fast-paced and engaging from start to finish.
Recommended.

great story
I love this series. The depth of characters is amazing, and the plot mesmerizing. The editing is sub-par, with grammatical errors, but that doesn’t lessen the enjoyability of the tale.

I cannot wait for the next one.
If I had the next book I wouldn’t be going to bed, but I would be getting on with the story. It is a gripping story, and the shadows have stormed the ramparts of my imagination, and will not let go until the story comes to an end.

This book was fantastic. So many twists and turns with treachery and mystery weaved in-between to create an excellent read.

crazy number of typos, words used wrong.
The story of course is amazing but the damage of poor editing is profound. What has happened here.
