From a bright new voice in African American women's fiction comes a sexy, scandalous, and scintillating novel set in steamy Atlanta. Stacie Long thinks she's God's gift to men and she keeps a list of qualities (phat ride, freak in bed...) that she's looking for in an ideal mate. But behind all her confidence she's got a secret -- one that even her best friend doesn't know about, one that may just keep her forever searching for her perfect man. Tameeka Johnson is a successful businesswoman who owns one of Atlanta's top wellness shops. But even with business booming, success in her bedroom is at an all-time low. Then, when she meets her black prince -- a loving man who promises to treat her like gold -- her insecurities about her sizeable body may just keep her from living the dream. Stacie and Tameeka are super tight, but their friendship is tested by sexy NBA players, baby mama drama, and temptations like they've never known before. Because if there's one thing these girls like better than each other, it's men.
I have always loved books. I distinctly remember my first board book, it was about a bunny and I carried it around with me constantly. I was six-years- old and have been reading ever since. It was only natural for me to become a writer.
I self-published my first novel, Bourgeois Blues in 1997. Since then, I was very fortunate to be published by Simon & Schuster. With Simon & Schuster, I have published the following novels:
Crazy Love - 2005 Cruising - 2006 One G-String Short of Crazy - 2009 Spiritual Seduction - 2010
I am very excited with the new trends in publishing and have decided to give digital publishing a try. Here is a listing of my E-books:
Chocolate & Pecan Swirl (Erotica) G-Strings, Thongs, Blogs, Oh My! (Erotica) My Husband & My Wifey (Erotica) Saturday Love (Erotica) Two Men are Better Than One (Erotica) The Return of Wifey (Erotica) Chubby Chicks Rule (Young Adult) The Committee (Inspirational Romance) This Isn't Barbie's Dream House (Romance) 15 Soothing Bible Verses and Affirmations for Single Moms (Self help)
This read was just ok. It had the smut, it had the solid story line but the ending was sub par. I can appreciate that the main character maintained high standards in finding a partner but made them less superficial. Also can we take a moment to give props to a single black male handling his role as a single parent with grace !! 👏🏽👏🏽
I thought was a good book about love and frienship. I loved how no matter what, the girls were able to get past their differences and stay friends. I learned that Mr. Right may pass you by if you dont open your eyes or that you may lose Mr. Right over a moment of weakness.
