Luca Winters has worked hard to be the self-made billionaire that he is today. Left in the foster system as a child, he knows there is no one out there that will ever want him. He doesn’t care. Life has made him hard, tough, resilient. When Tillie Goodwin walks into his office, pleading with him not to tear apart her family’s company, he knows there is only one thing he wants from the brown-eyed temptress, and that is for her to be his wife.
Everyone has a price, and he didn’t expect Tillie to give up her freedom to help others—but she does.
He never expected her to be a virgin.
Tillie is curious about her new husband. Yes, he appears cruel, cold, and calculating, but little by little, she sees someone who needs to be loved. Their marriage hasn’t exactly gotten off to a great start, but that doesn’t mean they can't have a great one they both try.
Could she have it all with her grumpy billionaire, or will someone with a grudge against Luca take it all away from her?
Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound. She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.
It was an easy read but Tillie was boring and Luca was obsessed with her from the moment he saw her. The writing could have been better and somethings just felt too predictable, except what happened to his family because I really didn’t expect it to be such a tragedy.
Wow! This story completely surprised me. I went in not expecting much, but it turned out to be amazing: cute, funny, and heartwarming all rolled into one. Tillie and Luca were fantastic together. It's a kinda arranged marriage with forced proximity thrown in, which equals tons of sexual tension.
But seriously, the story was so good I couldn't put it down! I devoured it in one sitting. Thank you so much for sending me this ARC and giving me the chance to read such a great book. Highly recommend!<3

Luca might have grown up in the system, but that only made him stronger and now nothing will stop him......
Tillie might have come from money, but she has a big heart for other and a love that knows no bounds. With a willing heart she gives herself for others.
This is an intense and powerful romance that pulls you into the world of business, money and family. Tilie and Luca strive for the same thing even if they don't realize it. Together they are stronger than apart.

Don’t start if you do not have the time to finish it because you will be mad with yourself. Luca sexy as all get out grumpy billionaire buying dying companies taking them apart taking what works to make it better, life wasn’t easy for him growing up in the system with a lot of questions but no answers deciding to make a life for himself and growing up in the system taught him to have a thick skin, to push through even when he didn’t want to and he has no interest in settling done when most see his net worth not him until she walks into his office. Tillie is sweet with a touch of spice part of the Goodwin Empire, their company isn’t doing so good, so she shows up at his office with a request to not rip their company a part not for herself but for the people who depend on their job, and they strike a deal marriage in return her father, brother, employees can keep their jobs. They didn’t expect fate to step in ensuring the magnetic pull between them continues to grow despite their marriage starting off awkward. Luca is demanding, controlling the only way he knows especially with his background, but he is efficient in everything he does and his wife Tillie well she loves baking, helping others and an amazing homemaker but will their marriage last, will they realize it is more real than for show to keep her families company going, will they realize they are perfect for one another, and does he find the family he has longed for the happiness they both want?
Luca Winters is a formidable business man who after starting his life in the Foster system is reliant on no one but himself. However, when Tillie Goodwin of The Goodwin Empire Family walks into his office with the only intention of helping others not herself he is completely surprised and those actions cause him to be instantly drawn to her but he is unsure as to why. This is a well written story although it starts after their marriage has already taken place. I was hoping to read the build up of the big day and the wedding night but we bypass that. The couple suddenly decide to make a go of their relationship and move on from there. There isn't much tension or disagreements and a bit of action with uncle Ed but I was hoping for a bit more. That being said it is still an enjoyable read that progressed at a steady pace with likeable characters and some steamy scenes and a happily ever after that we all love to read. Happy Reading. 4 out of 5 stars. Please note that I was given an arc of this book for my honest review which is exactly what I have given.
Luca Winters was put into the foster system and learned a lot from it and he is a self-made billionaire. He buys dying companies and rips them apart only keeping what works and making it work better. When he decides to take on the Goodwin empire, Tillie Goodwin, the daughter, goes to him and they make a deal- if they wed, then he wouldn't rip it apart, and her father and brother would continue to work there. She did this because the people who worked for the company were important to her. It's not their fault, what happened and having so many lose their jobs would be really bad. However, those that don't do their job were agreed (by Luca and Tillie) to be let go. Finding out those that fit this category was surprising and the book goes into detail.
I giggled, laughed, squeed, sniffled, punched a pillow a few times and chewed on my nails while reading this book. I loved it. It didn't disappoint. I'd like to see her brother David get a book too. I can't wait to see if there is anything else coming.

His Willing Wife is Luca and Tillie's story Luca Winters is a self-made billionaire. He grew up in the Foster Care System , never thought about marriage and children. Luca is a hard nosed businessman who purchases failing businesses. Luca was planning on purchasing the Goodwin Empire and dismantling the company. Tillie Goodwin the twenty-five year old youngest daughter came to speak with Luca about the hard workers and asked him to let them keep their jobs. Luca was quite surprised, but an agreement was made. Luca and Tillie will marry and the company will be saved and the employees keep their jobs. This is a sweet romance. They do have chemistry brewing.

I usually like Sam Crescent books, like the Volkov Bratva ones, but this one is soooo immature, it has the emotional intelligence of a 14 year old. The character development is non-existent and the writing is shockingly unintelligent? Like the mmc says to his wife “you are sad” as a remark then later in the book she says to him “you are sad.” It’s like pointing out emotions to a toddler. Honestly it almost reads like a teens romance with smut. Really Bad, at some point I just skipped pages and pages to get it over with. And at some point the FMC tries to reconnect with her mom, who’s been distant since the FMC was 6 y/o and apparently it was all a misunderstanding that made the FMC believe her mom didn’t like her and the mom was like of course not I love you etc. What mom is gonna let her daughter point for 20 years without showing her love towards her. It reads like a teens tiff, foolish and without basis. So extremely childish immature and honestly it feels like it wasn’t written by the same author as the other books I’ve read by this author.
Luca (H) never planned on getting married, but when an opportunity to take over the failing Goodwin Empire presented itself, he made a bold move: marry Tillie (h), the youngest daughter, to secure the deal. Tillie, driven by her concern for the company’s employees, reluctantly agrees to the unconventional proposal. Their marriage starts off awkwardly. Luca is a man used to control and efficiency, while Tillie is a nurturing homemaker with a love for baking. Despite their differences, a genuine bond begins to form as they spend more time together. Luca finds himself drawn to Tillie’s simple and caring nature, while Tillie yearns for the kind of love her grandparents shared. As they navigate their new life together, Luca and Tillie must overcome misunderstandings, insecurities, and the challenges of merging their worlds. Hot and steamy opposites attract romance with a little bit of angst as Luca and Tillie discover their connection.
This fast-paced, steamy romance is both sweet and spicy! Luca Winters, a workaholic billionaire with a rough past in the foster care system, has no plans for a wife or kids. That is, until he meets Tillie Goodwin. Luca presents her with a life-changing proposal: marry him, and he'll save her father's company from being dismantled.
Tillie, ever selfless and caring, agrees to the deal to protect the company’s employees. She’s an incredibly sweet character, and I adored how she gradually helps Luca realize he is capable of love and deserving of it, too.
Their journey to a happily-ever-after is heartwarming and filled with sizzling chemistry. I loved seeing how their relationship blossomed and how they both grew together. This story is a delightful mix of love, passion, and sweet moments that left me smiling.

Based on the cover of this book, I know, I know - never judge a book by it's cover. I assumed that this was going to be a steamy erotica and maybe even be about Tillie becoming a hotwife. Boy I couldn't have been more wrong. This was a delightful read that left me filled with happiness at a couple who fought hard to make their marriage work when it started off in a less than ideal manner. It was filled with love and tenderness yet it still had plenty of steaminess to it as well. I loved the slow burn of their relationship, but also loved the idea of found family for Luca and felt for his upbringing and how he was still a reasonable man even after all he faced as a child. I'm glad that I gave this book a chance and while it may not have been what I was expecting it was exactly what I needed it to be.

Billionaire Luca planned to take over a company and he ended up with a wife when Tillie pleads with him not to dismantle her Father's company.
Tillie is a sweet woman who sacrifices herself for others, she is looking for a more traditional role to her life as a homemaker with a loving relationship, while Luca who is a self made man after growing up in Foster Care wants Tillie, but really isn't sure what to make of her.
There are misunderstandings in the family as well as a threat that may derail their developing relationship.
The book was a little different to "usual", starting after their marriage had already occurred, and while there was a bit of tension and uncertainty and a small amount of drama, it was more like a sweet romance (still with a bit of steam), it was a nice (and quick) read.

This was a very good little story, with a sweet woman and a cut throat business man. And of course, once their marriage takes off, he turns into a wonderful husband and father.
It’s her family’s company that’s in trouble, and he has the smarts and the dollars to help. Turns out her uncle is the cause of the near bankruptcy, so he’s fired. And that doesn’t go over well with the uncle…
The relationships that develop from this merger end up giving him the family that he’s always needed. And his wife ends up investigating his early life so she can tell him what actually happened to him.
There’s a lot going on but this is pretty well written and the characters are very good too. Sam writes good characters and they always seem like real people to me.
This story was short but it's a full on story. Tillie goes to Luca's office to beg him NOT to tear apart the company her family owns and runs. Luca has never had anyone who cared for him but Tillie intrigues him so he makes her a deal, give herself to him as his wife and he promises to not tear the company apart. What follows is a cute story that has a lot of feels. There is a bit of drama but it's not overwhelming. Will Luca and Tillie make their marriage work or will Luca remain aloof and avoid his wife? I loved it especially when the misunderstanding with Tillie's mom comes to light and things work out for them. I was very tempted to not like her mom but things turned out good on that front! This was a great story and I loved it!!
Luca marries Tillie as part of a business deal. He has no intention of any emotional involvement but after unwittingly taking her virginity he is plagued by guilt. A guilt that makes him curious about her until he eventually falls for her.
I have to admit I have read better novellas written by Crescent than this one. There were times when I was actually asking myself what this story was about!! The plot was meandering and pointless, the characters lacked depth and chemistry, the writing was very mundane and mechanical. Nothing like the other Crescent stories I've read before.

I loved this novel. I have read other novels by this author and loved them and this novel did not disappoint. From the first chapter this novel pulled me in and then held on tight. I could not put it down I needed to know what was coming next. Luca has had such a hard and painful past. He doesn't believe anyone would ever love or want him. Tillie has such a sweet soul. She is willing to do whatever it takes to save her family's failing business. I loved watching Tillie break down Luca's walls and loved watching them both fall in love. Their chemistry was so good. I loved it! I can't wait to see what this author has coming next.
Luca and Tillie come together when he takes over her family's company. Unlike the rest of her family, Tillie is happy being out of the limelight and making a home. She is sweet and caring, which Luca isn't used to from heiresses.
She fascinates Luca, causing him to demand she marry him if she wants him to meet her requests regarding the workers in her family's company. Things are a bit rocky initially because Tillie isn't like the other women he knows. This is a story about working through their differences and falling in love. There is nothing angsty going on, just two people learning about each other and navigating marriage. Quick and easy.
Sam has a way of making you think her book is going to be one thing and turns out to be better than what you thought and clearly excellent interpretation.
Tilli (her name alone should have clued me) was a simple girl, heir to a crumbling company. Luca is a multimillionaire set to buy her family's company to bring it back into the black. But noone, not even her family, counted on Tille being the catalysts of change for Luce, the company or even her own family.
Hi five Tillie....and her good old fashioned grandparent's influence on her...what a legacy!!!!.

This was an engaging arranged marriage for Tillie and Luca. Tillie, with a heart of gold, appeals to Luca after he buys her family's company, to not break it up. To help the workers. He was blown away at her selflessness and agreed with the price of marriage. These two are basically strangers, but their love grows in a good way - and it's intense ;P They have some intrigue to deal with that brings some family drama, but Luca ends up with more than the best wife ever, he gets the family he never had. Loved it!
This reminded me of the Harlequin romance series I used to read in my teens. Tilly was the epitome of goodness while Luca was the self proclaimed undeserving. Luca fell for Tilly onsight and of course would cut of his own are before hurting her. It took him no time at all to realize she made him better and yet, they had to work at it. This book however had a spot of suspense which I won't ruin. Overall a good short read which actually covered alot in between and I would definitely recommend.

Luca's hard work got him to where he was today from foster kid no one wanted to a self made billionaire, and now hes set his sights on Tillie, who came to beg for her families buisness to be spared for the workers sake, only to end up as his wife in return. He's cold and grumpy but Tillie sees another side to him, but will it be enough to live happily ever after when another wants to destroy it all? Well written engaging slow burning desires, forced marriage and more
This was a little different for me. There’s very little angst and not a drop of abuse. I love anything Sam writes and she’s always a one click author for me. Tillie was a great h and had an amazing heart. Luca was a great H and had the ability to love more than he even knew. This was a nice change from Sam’s usual bully stories. Can’t wait for the next new read!!!
His Willing Wife was such a great book!!! Sam Crescent never disappoints with her world and characters she’s created. This book is a contemporary romance with drama and spice. I thought the storyline was original and page turning. The characters were complex, had great banter between each other and had a slow building chemistry. I am so ready for what comes next!!!.

Sam crescent at her best. Great book that was more romantic and less intense than most. It was a good solid marriage of convenience book, where saving a company through marriage results in some slow burning feelings of passion and love occur. Main characters were more reasonable and relaxed than in some other stories, but their attraction was very apparent. I enjoyed this quick read. Good book
Short story of a marriage contract The MMC is an extremely rich, self made billionaire who was brought up in the Care system. A ruthless businessman and hard from all angles. FMC is softer and more rounded, who asks for his consideration for saving the workers and jobs. He offers marriage and she accepts. Her yang to his ying. Entertaining if you likevshort, easy reading stories.
