I have to be brutally honest. I was really looking forward to this second part. However there were grammatical errors throughout this whole book. So many errors to the point I almost stopped reading and that have never happened in the thirty years I've been a avid reader. I was completely disgusted with Key'Shana mother Rosetta. When she told her story about how she basically let herself go, became an alcoholic, neglected Key'Shana and Emory all because Emory father left her for another woman. It almost sounded like she was jealous of her daughter and mad at the fact, that although Key'Shana was still a child herself. She took care of her little brother Emory, graduated college, as well as moved her and Emory away from Rosetta alcoholic toxic ass. I thought Rosetta was genuinely going to try to mend her relationship with Key'Shana and Emory. Especially with Emory since he was still a small child but that didn't happened. When Everette showed up looking for Key'Shana because she was the key to finding Wolf. Rosetta lost her damn mind again and chose a complete stranger, man she knew nothing about over her children again. Everette talked her needy ass into kidnapping Emory knowing that would bring Key'Shana and Wolf out of hiding. Rosetta knew how Key'Shana would go to war about her little brother. If Wolf would've told Everette that he killed Breeze because he tried to rape Key'Shana. I don't think it would've matter. Everette thought he was going to get revenge after holding Wolf hostage but when Clarence stepped in the room and shut everything down. Everette bytch up. Clarence couldn't do nothing but accept how Wolf and Jada felt about him. He wasn't in their life but luckily they got a chance to know their father. Senia know she shouldn't have shown up at Jasiri house after lying about the paternity of their daughter. Hell when he put her out. She acted like she forgot their baby girl. Senia only wanted Jasiri back because she knows she won't find another man like him. Remy had already locked Jasiri down so Senia didn't have a chance in hell. Remy finally had somebody to step up and love her properly. Her baby daddy was a mess and deserved that ass whooping Jasiri gave him.
This book was indeed a good read but I had to point out the grammatical errors from about midway through to the end of the book. Names and words were being misspelled and changed entirely. No, it didn't stop me from reading as I was already invested in the story, just a pointer to triple check when editing.
Man Shana was dealt some real bad cards from young. Nonetheless, she didn't let those cards break her! She played her hand with grace and to the best she could. Thank God for Emory and Jacob to keep her on the straight and narrow! Who would have thought a move to get out of her toxic environment would lead to her happily ever after?! I mean her mama was truly something else! Sis had to chance to make things right and she never once looked back! The fact she tried to unalive her own kids, my Lord! That's a different type of hurt! Ahmad didn't play about her nor Emory and I loved that for her! She deserved it all and I'm glad he really stepped up and became her knight in shining armor!
Remi was loyal and true to the end! Both her and her mother really looked out for Shana and Emory! One party really changed life for her and Shana! They lucked up on 2 of the most rare breed of men! Jah quickly became a family man with Remi and her boys and showed them what a family was supposed to be and look like! His baby mama and Remi ex were from the pits because they were delusional beyond the point of no return smh!
There's nothing like a man who can admit to his eff ups and make them right! All of Ahmad's life, the man didn't show, but the one time he needed him, he stepped in and BOSSED up! I'm glad Ahmad decided to mend his relationship with him. Yes, they could have never gotten back the years and time they lost, but there's no time like the present. Unfortunately, their renewed time was short lived but definitely nothing short of memories created to last a lifetime! Even beyond the grave, he made sure, his kids were all straight in some way or the other. The only thing I wished had happened was Ahmad and Jada meeting their siblings.
Shana becoming a mother was the beginning of a new cycle for her and her family! She was already a nurturer and I'm sure with her own, it's more than tripled how she loves. Cheers to the newlyweds! They really deserved this happily ever after and what better way than to start off in a new place! Good read
This was like reading someone writing blind folded. The errors were numerous, misspelled words, misused words, missing word, Ahmad was A mod or motherous a few times, like did the author even use spell check??? I'm assuming there were no proofreaders or editors because based off the errors alone this shouldn't have even made it to print. The storyline didn't really flow, there were many things that were touched on but never explored, her Mother, his Father, the other siblings, the mess with Breeze, like wasn't Ahmad supposed to be that man, he didn't have a clean up crew, Breeze had a lot going on, anybody could have did him dirty ex wife sideline family, why would dude Everrette go to her Mom when he had a whole Mom and sister?? Then the ending with them not being talked about but suddenly shooting up a funeral, make it make sense. This was not a good series at all. Take time to learn the craft of writing, do your research, study the greats, to many folks out here in the book streets not knowing what they are doing, putting out below mediocre books until folks don't know what a good book is. Anyone who gave this book 4 or 5 stars has never read a good book before and they are okay with mediocre because it's so many books like this out there smh. Do better.
There was a good deal of errors and misspellings throughout the book but it didn't take away from the story. I loved Wolf and Shana love it was so pure and real. You did a great job with the storyline and characters. Shana was the greatest big sister. That mother went from alcohol to being a snake her and Everette just couldn't leave well enough alone what happened to Breeze he definitely deserved. I hope there's a spinoff with Remi and Jah. I need to know was that dancer Marie that Shana dad messed with the Marie that couldn't let Wolf go and what happened to Senia and Remi kids dad. Good job waiting on your next book.
I loved the journey this book took me on. For a minute I was scared for Wolfe tho. He loved Shauna and her lil brother so much that he gave himself up to get him back. Now that mama of hers is a waste of space. I glad Wolfe decided to give his dad Clarence a chance but I wished they had more time with each other. Jah and Remi are good for each other. He doesn't play when it comes to Remi, just ask her bum azz baby daddy. I'm glad he won custody of his daughter cause Senia needs to get her life together for her child. I would like to see Nard get a happy ending also.💌💌
Book 2 really got deep for Amaud and Kishana especially after what happened to Breeze. Leaving ATL and her brother behind to sort out their issues brings him in direct contact to the father he never had in his life. Kishana also learns that her deadbeat mom hasn’t changed. With do much going on a bundle of joy is coming and mended relationship with Ahmad dad brings out many great things and memories. Great read
Loved how the characters Ahmad and Key'Shana came together. He knew at first glance that he wanted her. There love blossemed early in the series and he showed her what TRUE loved looked like from the beginning. I would definitely reccomed this book. The author did an awesom job. I would definitly like to read something else with the same characters especially with Remi and Jah as well. Thanks for am awesom read couldn"t it down.
Exciting, intriguing, interesting, twists and favorable outcome. Plot was well thought out. However....the spelling was awful, the grammar was terrible; you have to decipher or decide what the proper word should be or what meaning the author is trying to convey. I suggest she make use of "spell check" and AI or hire me to edit your manuscript. Email: supadynd@aol.com
I read both books, however you needed to have it proof read. There was so many grammatical errors, some times I had to reread It , to get a understanding of what you meant. You had missed names, wrong name to certain characters, and the punctuation was put in the wrong place. I was glad for Ahmad and Keys haha happiness.
A good ending that I would have given five stars, but there are some grammatical errors. The storyline ended on a good note even though their was sadness before the happy ending. I enjoyed the read, characters, and storyline.
I liked the 2 part series it was okay but it seemed rushed to me. I still would recommend me it because it's was good but not the greatest. Shana tried so hard with her Mother .I was said for their ending. Wolfe need more time. I was happy for Jah and Remi.
This book was everything! Oh to be love this way. I'm so glad Wolfe was able to repair his relationship. Forgiveness is the key. Poor Shana. She deserved more from her mom. I'm just happy she was there for Emory. Such a wonderful book 10 stars
This book had the worst grammar I’ve ever seen in a book in my life. I really wanted to know the story and how it ended but it was so hard! It didn’t live up to the hype of book 1. It’s like the writer said forget the editing process.
