As if falling for the ghosts of four murdered gangsters wasn't crazy enough, it turns out we've got a real live supervillain on our hands. One with mysterious powers that reach way farther than we could have imagined.
And that villain has torn my sister away from me.
I'll stop at nothing to bring her back and see my men get the vengeance they deserve. It's just a little hard to win a war when you're not really sure what kind of monster you're up against. Or how many you're up against, for that matter.
There's a whole new dimension to my own powers that I'm only just starting to uncover—one that could level the playing field. But what if tapping into it makes me just as much of a monster as the pricks we're up against?

GrapicAudio version - this is awesome, a few bits are a bit cringe - fight scenes etc - but the rest really brings the characters to life. I've listened to several GraphicAudio books now, some of my fave authors rereleasing in this format, and I am content to spend the money again!
Lily is my kind of FMC, she has quiet strength, resilience of dooooom and a really huge growth across the series as she comes into her forgotten/discovered power. The actual underlying plot of what has been happening in this town is awful, and the first book barely hints at it. Fortunately her men are straight onto it's destruction alongside devising their own revenge for their prior deaths. Each guy havign his own dedicated narrator is a wonderful thing! Again, taken me a bit of time to get over the spicy scenes with all the voices involved... As I actually think the original format with Joe Arden narrating was already AMAZING, he had already made each character his own. The Graphic Audio includes lots of music, sound effects and drastically shortens the actual overal listening time. Less to describe I guess?.
