What a whirlwind! Crossroads and Curses is an amazing, full-circle end to Cam’s story. A brilliant mix of old favourites and exciting new characters and settings. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. How could a series ending leave me totally satisfied and still wanting more?! Can’t wait to see what else L. L. Gray writes!

What a superb book it was the last book of an arc it was well worth the wait ,I've been to hell and back with it I have laughed and cried and also I've been freaking out What has Cam and crew been doing to my heart rate I have sat, stood thought about lying down walked the floor all these dangerous places and my adrenaline has gone silly this is what you need in a great book 'LL Gray you have outdone yourself , I just can't recommend these books any more highly phenomenal series why can't you go higher than 5 stars it deserves 100

Absolutely mesmerising and very intense. Cameron's foray into the Abyss is filled with action, fear and betrayal as well as some truths. Obviously I got teary with the Ember part. Their guide in the Abyss was a great surprise. I thoroughly love this series, but this book was fascinating. Golems, sharpies, fire lizards, etc and not to forget about Charon taking them down the Styx river, were included in this journey of hell. Definitely not a book to miss out on.

The Cameron Blaze series continues with her in a race against time to fulfill her bargain with the djinn, Barqan, to bring the
Scroll of Solomon to him before time runs out or risk losing her magic forever. Of course Sloan, her best friend and Leprechaun, is along for the adventure as well as her werewolf boyfriend Magnus, to assist and have her back on the journey. Her fire drake Ember gets his own side adventure which is both joyous and melancholy for Cam. This is a slow burn in the beginning, reacquainting us with her continuing quest and lining up help to pull this off. The action is slow to materialize but once it does it doesn’t stop and had me turning the pages as fast as I could read them. You’ll meet an old, unexpected friend to guide her along the way which is yet another reason this series needs to be read in order from the beginning. Liz has the most incredible imagination which comes through in her character development along with the creation of the different regions Cam has to trek through in the Abyss to get to Barqan’s prison. The scenes are well crafted with great action and suspense. Her signature humor is always in play and it is enjoyable to read the often snarky, clever exchanges. Watch for some subtle foreshadowing about her coming interactions with both Maksur and Kabus…friends or foes? Read to find out!

This is a dark urban fantasy book, the last in a series and what a rollercoaster ride it was!
The story got off to a hilarious start with the author's signature witty style - "Why are you taking a test when you should be running away screaming?" 🤣
I could not put this down. Non-stop, nail-biting action. I really needed to know how Cameron was going to get out of the mess she had gotten herself into, and at times my heart really hurt for all that she was going through. The ending was so good yet so heartbreaking. I loved everything about this book. The action, the found family tropes, and the harrowing danger.
I love how since this is the last book in this character's story arc, the author took the time to mention and bring in all the minor characters from previous stories. Felt like revisiting old friends. And I GASPED when one particular character came back and I'm so happy he did! Thank you to the author for doing that it made my heart melt 🥰

What a great ending to a fabulous series.
Cameron is out to fulfill her bargain with djinn king Barqan. Aided by her friends including one that has not been around for a while she must face the Abyss where only the dead can roam semi safely. Charon also makes an interesting part of the story as well as other mythologic and historical creatures.
There is a lot of action, new foes, new friends, surprises, danger, fear, happiness, death – maybe. This is a well written book with wonderful descriptions of the area they cover.
This is a series that needs to be read from the beginning because a lot of little things make the whole story work well.
they make me think of Indiana Jones and National Treasure - great adventures with unusual quests.
I will definitely read more of her books.

What an amazing finish to a whirlwind of a series. Cams story comes full circle in a wonderful closing while traversing the abyss. With Cam finally facing her father and trying to eradicate the confines she seems to find herself in, we are immersed in her witty personality and snark that only leaves you wanting for more.
This is a must read and L.L Gray continues to throw us into her exhilarating worlds and all I can say is I need so much more!

Crossroads and Curses was an amazing thrill ride! Never could I ever have imagined where Cam would end up on this journey. Facing her father was not as simple as it seemed nor as cut and dry as one would expect super villain extraordinaire umm yes. Friend or foe hmmmm harder to answer it seems than you might think.
I was like what the what?? Ember love him such a brave and extraordinary little guy and the bond so awesome. I wish I could say more I so want more Ember! I love he far her friends and allies are willing to go to help her. And we finally get some long awaited answers about her mother her past and Cans abilities. Which it seems are still largely untapped.
Will she find a way to learn everything else she can do with her shadow magic and will we see a new bright and shiny addition from mom… I really must know. Get the series you will love it!
