You can’t go wrong with a Marta Perry Amish romance book. It’s been a while since I read one of her books and I really enjoyed this one. I thought the characters were well drawn with strong personalities. There are a few adorable children that really drew me to the story. It was a slow pace at the books beginning. The pace picks up as the book progresses. I thought the story was entertaining, romantic, and realistic. It was an easy read and a page turner. I have read some of the other books in this series and enjoyed those too.
The two main characters are Molly Esch and Aaron Fisher. Aunt Leah is a strong secondary character. Both Molly and Aaron aren’t looking for romance but romance finds them. This is a story about how they met and got to know each other. In the beginning they weren’t attracted to each other and in fact they didn’t like each other. Of course it wouldn't be Amish Romance if there wasn’t some matchmaking involved. This is a story you won’t want to miss reading.
I recommend Match Made at the Amish Inn to readers of Amish Romance Fiction and Love Inspired books. Though it’s part of a series this book can be read as a stand alone book.
I purchased my own copy. All thoughts and opinions expressed here in this review are solely my own.

Marta Perry's Match Made at the Amish Inn is a sweet, enemies to lovers romance. I enjoyed the way Perry paints the picture of Amish life, these are fascinating characters and it was fun getting to know them.

The audio version of Match Made at the Amish Inn is nicely performed by Maayan Voss.

an audiobook version of Match Made at the Amish Inn was provided by Harlequin Audio, via NetGalley, for the purpose of my honest review, all opinions are my own

*****I received this audiobook free from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange don’t honest review.

A great Amish romance. A widower helps out his injured aunt in her inn. She passes on the responsibility permanently. He struggles a bit with the current staff but starts to find his way as well as a connection.

I really enjoyed this book. I only wish that there had been a more detailed ending than there was. Aaron and Molly end up together but it happens suddenly at the end. There’s no big detailed story about their love finally blossoming. Otherwise it’s a great book.

This was a heartwarming story filled with tropes I love, particularly enemies-to-lovers and forced proximity. The romance is a true slow burn, as the FMC and MMC take their time opening up, even just to form a friendship. But the constant back and forth kept me hooked, eager to see how they would fall for each other. I also adored the well-meaning matchmaking and the kindness the community showed to the new innkeeper and his daughter.

In the story, Molly has been helping at the Amish Inn for quite a while. But when the owner gets injured, she calls in her nephew Aaron to take over management, essentially making him Molly's new boss. While she tries not to take it personally that the position she expected to have is given to him, she decides to support him. More importantly, she decides to help his shy, anxious daughter adjust to the move. The sweet girl takes to Molly, and Molly feels drawn to care for her. However, Aaron is far from pleased with her involvement, and they constantly clash... with how the inn is ran, and her closeness to his daughter. Everytime they make progress, something pulls them back into tension. Aaron struggles with the community's efforts to push him and Molly together. Even his daughter adores Molly, but Aaron has sworn off love and marriage after losing his wife. He firmly rejects any suggestions of a relationship. But when Molly's ex-fiancé, Will, reenters the picture, Aaron begins to question his resolve... is it too late? Molly once loved Will, did she still love him?

This was such a sweet story! The romance, though slow-paced, was so well-written that I never felt bored. In fact, I looked forward to every lingering glance, touch, and moment of connection between them. Now, I definitely need to read more from Marta!

I purchased the paperback of this book, but the audio was provided complimentary from the publisher. This review reflects my honest opinion.

A really sweet story of lost love and finding new love.

Molly Esch was left standing at the altar. Working at the inn with Leah Fisher has helped her to move past the disappointment of the failed wedding. Leah has an accident and sends word to her nephew Aaron Fisher, a widower with a young child, to come help out running the inn. When Molly meets Aaron she is feeling unsure of her role at the inn. Did Leah not trust her to run the inn?
Aaron wants to change the way they have been running the inn. Leah has more on her mind when she offers the inn to Aaron since she does not have children. Will Molly and Aaron learn to work together or will they clash when things start to change?

I'm honestly a little disappointed in this story!! the romance wasn't till the very end and then it came out of nowhere! I felt like it was very rushed! I honestly had to read it a couple times to even understand what was happening because the story went from them arguing to kissing and telling the each other they love each other! 😅

not my favorite but fortunately it was my only 2 star read this month so yay!

I enjoyed Match Made at the Amish Inn by Mart Perry. It is a sweet romance with likeable characters. I especially liked Aaron Fischer’s daughter, Becky. Molly had a large, delightful family which is the opposite of Aaron’s. I enjoyed seeing Aaron and Becky open up. I did feel bad for Molly when her ex-fiancé returned to town (the cad). Leah enjoyed playing matchmaker. Her broken legs gave her plenty of opportunities to pair Aaron and Molly up for errands and chores. I loved the descriptions of the beautiful inn. I would living there. The narrator did a great job at performing the characters. Match Made at the Amish Inn was over far too soon. My favorite quote from Match Made at the Amish Inn is, “As usual, he asked what everyone had planned for the day. Mammi had told her once Daad wanted all of them to learn how to set goals for each day. You had, of course, to leave room for the surprises the Lord put in front of you, but he said if you knew where you were headed it was easier to tackle those things.” Match Made at the Amish Inn is a pleasant tale with an injured aunt, a sweet niece, an unwelcome blast from the blast, challenging changes, merry matchmaking, and God’s guidance.

ALC for Net Galley and Harlequin Audio

This was a very sweet story of love and loss. Loss of a potential marriage and a tragic loss of a beloved spouse. Aaron comes to take over the Amish Inn from his elderly aunt and start a new life for him and his daughter. Molly has been running the inn with Leah since being stood up by Will at the altar.

Aaron and Molly began to see that Leah had hopes of making a match between the two of them. Aaron believes he will never marry or love again. Molly wants to continue seeking her independence. That is until Aaron realizes how great Molly is with his daughter and how much she needs another positive influence in her life.

Narrated by Maayan Voss - very enjoyable listen

NOTE: This is not normally a book I would choose... I am not sure how I ended up with an advance copy. It was surprisingly sweet.

Match Made @The Amish Inn by Marta Perry is the 8th book in her Brides of Lost Creek series. It can be read as a stand-alone. Molly Esch has been helping Leah run the Inn when Leah hurts herself but instead of asking Molly to run the Inn she invites her windowed nephew Aaron Fisher and his young daughter Becky too. They seem to clash at every turn. He has ideas of how he wants to run the Inn and won’t listen to Molly on what is already working well for the patrons of the Inn. Full of second chances, Faith, Family, and Forgiveness. Sit back and enjoy. Thank you to #NetGalley, #Harlequin Audio and the surfer for this arc audio. This is my honest review.

Another cute story from Marta Perry. This one involves the running of the Amish Inn, a bed and breakfast in Lost Creek. Molly has been working there for awhile and has become integral, especially since owner Leah had an accident. When Leah's nephew Aaron moves in with his daughter, changes are sure to come. I really enjoy how Perry writes Amish characters, although I felt the ending on this one was a little rushed.

I received an advance reader copy of this title from the publisher.

Heartfelt

This is a wonderful and lovely romance story, but it's also a story that makes us reflect and consider what we think should be. We make plans, but God's plans override them. We think there can be no healing when we traverse difficult and sad situations, but God has the ultimate plan to turn them for our good. All of this makes this story a truly heartfelt one.

I do so love the way Marta Perry spins a tale – a whirlwind of love and laughter with just enough angst to keep things interesting.

Molly and Aaron fit the opposite attracts mold to perfection. She’s the sweet, outgoing, has never met a stranger type while he’s more of a brooding introvert. It’s only natural that there’s some clashing of wills when they are thrown together working at the inn. And it doesn’t help that Aaron’s convalescing aunt has matchmaking on the mind. Gotta love a devious Amish matchmaker.

Of course, things don’t go according to plan as Molly and Aaron’s love story takes on a life of it’s own much to my reader’s delight. First comes the uneasy truce, and then a friendship of sorts, but when their stubbornness gets in the way things start to get complicated.

Captivating secondary characters add to the charm of this sweet romance as does the whole Amish community. Love the way the author weaves every last detail into an emotionally satisfying story.

I listened to the audio edition of ‘Match Made at the Amish Inn’, narrated by Maayan Voss who did a wonderful job breathing life into these characters through her engaging performance.

My thanks to Harlequin Audio and Net Galley for providing me with an audio edition of this book.

Molly Esch’s life crumbled around her when her husband to-be ran off the night before their wedding. Molly has gained back her confidence with the responsibility of running the Amish Inn.

Molly is sure she will be asked to manage while Leah the owner is recuperated from both legs broken in an accident. Only Aaron Fisher her widowed nephew is asked. Molly now has to work with handsome Aaron Fisher who seems to have grand ideas for change.
They disagree immediately. Soon find it is okay for both of them to have good ideas.
Since both are single- might there be something more? Although neither believes they are ready.

Loved the cover - plus the story was a light enjoyable read. Additionally narrator Maayan Voss did a great job in performing the characters.

Want to thank NetGalley, Harlequin Audio and Love Inspired for this early audiobook.

I have always loved Marta Perry’s books, but I haven’t read one for awhile. She does such a good job of portraying the children in her stories! You don’t think of an Amish child talking all the time and having their parents at wits end because they never know what she might say or do!😀.

Molly is left at the altar and so she is working at her Mam’s friend, Leah’s inn. Leah suffered a fall and broke her both legs. She is in a wheel chair. Molly thought she would be taking over the inn while Leah is laid up, but she sends for her widower nephew, Aaron and his young daighter, who has never managed an inn. Aaron is quick to jump to conclusions and doesn’t want to listen to Molly’s suggestions.

After being jilted she started helping at the Inn. Now her life is flipped upside down again. Between learning about the future of the Inn and her ex returning things couldn't get messier. Or could they?
