Letting go of the fear and the past.
A very intense, action-filled plot right from the start. Sadie is thrown into danger and Jesse has to help her. Their past with its pain and heartbreak makes it difficult to navigate things at first. But they trust each other and find they still care for each other down deep in their hearts.
The suspense is great; it took me until almost the end to see who the bad guys were. As the truth unfolds, I felt sorry for Jesse and Sadie to be confronted so callously with the truth of the past. But God gives them a HEA that is sweet and endearing.
I enjoyed it very much. I received a complimentary copy and these are my voluntary and honest opinions. I was not required to leave a positive review.

Another fast-paced romantic suspense by Kellie. There's lots of conflict between the hero and heroine because of their past, which comes to light after Jesse steps in to help Sadie after another incident occurs on her ranch with a burning barn.

Oh wow!! I absolutely love this exciting, action packed, heart stopping suspense with unexpected twists and turns and the mystery of who the bad guys are!! This second chance romance grabbed my attention from the beginning to the end!! I enjoyed reading about Sadie Madsen and her ex fiance Jesse Taylor and Sadie's K9, Kip!! With someone out to destroy her ranch it's up to Jesse to keep her safe!! I couldn't put this book down!! A must read!! I was given a complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.

Well, I couldn't put this book down! I stayed up late, sneaking in pages whenever I could, just to see what would happen next.
In this story, Jesse returns home to start a new job in his hometown. Years ago, he broke off his engagement to Sadie, breaking both their hearts. But now, he is he's back in town for work. One night, he spots a fire at her ranch, which seems like an accident at first. But soon, it becomes clear that someone is intentionally trying to harm Sadie. Even though Jesse ended things with Sadie, he never stopped loving her, and now, with her life in danger, he's determined to protect her. As they spend more time together, old feelings resurface, and he knows he still owes Sadie an explanation for why he left. But first, he has to figure out who's after her and why. If he can keep her safe, maybe they'll have a chance to heal and find a way forward together.
This book is full of action, second-chance romance, suspense, and even a sweet dog! It’s a fast, exciting read with plenty of mystery that will keep you hooked.
I’d give it 4.5 stars, rounding up to 5! I'm excited to see what Kellie writes next!

Wyoming Ranch Sabotage is another awesome book by Kellie VanHorn. This is a definite can't put it down book.
Sadie's trying to keep her ranch going in spite of several "accidents". Someone then sets her barn on fire and traps her inside. Her ex-fiance sees the flames as he's driving by and gets her and the other horses out.
Sadie isn't happy to see Jesse, but she soon finds out she needs his protection and also wants to finally know why he left.
Jesse still loves Sadie and will do everything he can to keep her safe. He also realizes it's time she knows the truth about his leaving.

Many twists and turns in this lastest book by Kellie VanHorn. Family dynamics, how a child is treated are an integral part of this book. Faith in Jesus and love for each other get them thru plus never forget the love of a dog. Loved this book.

Wyoming Ranch Sabotage by Kellie Vanhorn has riveting action from start to finish. Sadie and Jesse’s story weaves throughout with life threatening danger, secrets of the past, and dealing with the conflict of their past heartbreak. Sadie is grateful to have someone to defend, protect, and keep her safe as they outrun hired killers. Jesse is determined to be that someone despite all that has transpired between them. Vivid scenic description, a reunion of hearts and an adorable dog - this book is a top-notch romantic suspense.

Wyoming Ranch Sabotage by Kellie VanHorn is definitely a book that you will want to read in one sitting. Non-stop action from the first page. Sadie Madsen’s been having problem after problem on her farm. She’s been trying to convince herself that she’s been unlucky, but then her barn catches fire. Trying to save her horses, she gets knocked out & locked in. Thankfully, her ex-fiancé Jesse Taylor pulls her out from the barn. He makes it his mission to protect Sadie until they figure out why this is happening to her. OMS! This was such an amazing story. I could literally not put the book down. I love 2nd chance romance with suspense. This has it all. You’ll spend most of the book rooting for these two exes while trying to guess who is responsible for all the sabotage. I was given a copy, but all opinions are my very own.

Many years ago, Sadie Madsen and Jesse Taylor were engaged and planning a wedding. Suddenly Jesse is calling it off and leaving without a good explanation.
Sadie Madsen has been struggling with multiple setbacks and try to keep her ranch going. One night she's up late going over her finances and the needs of the ranch. Her dog Kip starts acting different. She looks outside and sees her barn is on fire with her horses inside. She rushes to try and save them. As she's inside the barn working to save them, she suddenly becomes trapped. She ends up getting hit in the head and struggling to get out.
On the same night Jesse Taylor is on his way home. He happens to be driving by Sadie's ranch when he notices the fire. He immediately rushes to look for her and tries to help. He finds here and helps her get to safety. As she comes around, she's looking into the face of the man she never thought she'd see again.
Jesse is determined to help Sadie despite her not wanting it. She's determined to keep her guard up and her heart from being broken again. As time goes on, attacks on Sadie's life and property get worse. She finally agrees to let Jesse help.
The book is filled with action, danger, twists and turns. I really enjoyed the characters interaction with Kip the dog.

I received this book as an ARC with no expectation of a positive review. Sadie Madsen is doing everything she can to keep the ranch afloat. She has had sick cattle, broken fences, issues with ATV's. She is struggling to get the books to work in her favor. She hears one of the horses whinnied. Then another. She grabs a shotgun out of the gun cabinet to investigate. What she finds is terrifying. The horse barn is in flames. She must get the horses out. She is down to the last two horses, but for some reason, they cannot get out the doors she came through. She opens another door, but ends up on the ground hitting her head. When she wakes, she finds she is away from the barn, but a person from her past is by her side, Jesse Taylor. He left her two weeks before the wedding. Join Sadie and Jesse as they try to fight off those who have them in their sights as well as trying to figure out who is behind the attacks. This is a book that is hard to put down. It is a must read for all suspense fans.

She thinks it might be a wolf. When she opens her she sees her new (5 years old) barn is on fire. She rushes in the barn to let the horses out. She gets all but the last 2 out who are at the end of the barn away from the doors. She gets them out of their stalls only to discover the doors are barred shut!
Jesse is Sadie's ex-finance from 7 years ago who is a ranger for the National Parks system. He is returning from visiting his sister when he decides to drive by Sadie's ranch. He sees the orange glow of the barn fire. Can he get there in time to save Sadie? He discovers the barn doors are barred from the outside with an iron bar.
Why would someone bar the doors shut? Was the fire accidental or intentional? Can Sadie put aside her hurt and the walls she built around her heart and allow Jesse to keep her safe & help her find out who's behind the multiple attacks and kidnapping attempts on her before it's too late? Will she ever forgive Jesse for breaking her heart 7 years ago or will she hold on to her hurt? Will Jesse be able to show her he's a changed man from who he was at 22?

Wyoming Ranch Sabotage by Kellie VanHorn is definitely a MUST READ book. This Christian Romantic Mystery is action packed, full of high intensity, heart-stopping suspense. Sadie Madsen finds herself in danger immediately to start the book when she is trapped in her burning barn! She has to reluctantly rely on her ex-fiancée, National Park Ranger Jesse Taylor to save her and help her figure out why there have been several recent “accidents” on her ranch. This story has family secrets, second chances and very clean content. I highly recommend reading this amazing Love Inspired Suspense book. My advice is do NOT start reading this one late at night as it is hard to put down! It will have you on the edge of your seat as you learn about a deadly conspiracy to obtain her family ranch. Check out this amazing thriller to find out how Sadie and Jesse catch these dangerous killers.

This is one of Kellie Vanhorn's best books yet. Sadie and Jesse's story kept me invested from the very beginning. I had a hard time putting the book down to get other things done that I needed to do because I wanted to find out what happened next in the book. There's plenty of action and adventure as Sadie and jesse are forced to work together to find out who's after her. Definitely a must read for anyone who loves action, adventure, and suspense with romance and faith in God mixed in.

I have read several books by this author and I have enjoyed them all. This novel was no exception. I really enjoyed this one as well. The main characters in this book are Sadie Madsen and Jesse Taylor. At the beginning of the novel, you find out that Jesse is Sadie’s ex-fiancée. Throughout the beginning, you are told why they split up which helps to understand their current feelings towards each other. I thought the author did a great job of tying everything together to where I was able to figure out part of who was the villain before being told. This novel was a well written suspense that did not have one boring part in it. I would definitely recommend it.

Wyoming Ranch Sabotage by Kellie Vanhorn! This was such an amazing and wonderful suspense book, this story will keep you reading and turning the pages from start to finish! As Sadie is trying to find out who is wanting to destroy her and destroy her ranch Can her ex-fiancé Jesse Taylor help her to find out who is behind this and keep her safe! Jesse Taylor, her former fiancé, returns to rugged, picturesque Jackson Hole as a law enforcement officer.
They work together to find out who is behind these evil acts. There are many page turning adrenaline inducing moments where the assailants are non stop in their quest to carry out their bosses plan.
I didn’t figure out who the true person behind all this terrorizing and their motive until the end.
Jesse and Sadie learn to forgive and trust each other and realize their true feelings for each other. A sweet ending and a wonderful story.

Ms Vanhorn is a new author to me, but I intend to be reading her books on a regular basis! This story started out full of action and suspense that continued on nearly every page. Whew! I’m exhausted trying to keep up with who I think is behind all the threats on Sadie’s life!
Sadie Madsen owns a ranch that someone is willing to try, just about anything, to get her out of the way in order to claim her ranch. We start out with her new horse barn being on fire and as she goes in to let the horses out, somehow the big doors won’t budge when she gets ready to leave. Her ex-fiancé, Jesse Taylor, shows up in time to rescue her. Fortunately Jesse stays around to help her solve the mystery. Good storyline, lots of action, and good ending!

I so enjoyed this story. I had my suspicions who was involved and I was so happy to find out I was right. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves suspense and a good ole fashion love story.

WYOMING RANCH SABOTAGE by Kellie Vanhorn is the wonderfully written story of Sadie Madsen, owner of Double M Ranch, and Jesse Taylor, Grand Teton National Park law enforcement officer, as they deal with the present dangers and sift through their past.
Jesse left Jackson Hole, Wyoming seven years ago. After years of being belittled by his Uncle Rob and then the hurtful remarks from Dale, Sadie’s dad and a man he highly admired, he’d caved. Believing what they said about him being unworthy to love Sadie, he broke his engagement and Sadie’s heart. He left his hometown and the women he knew he would always love. He went to work for the national parks system where he was at home in the woods and with the critters. There was no one telling him he wasn’t doing things right. Why in the world did he take an assignment near his hometown at Grand Teton National Park! He knew that more than likely he’d see Sadie and have to deal with the past that he’d worked so hard to tuck away?
Sadie’s life has been one major upset after the other. One minute she was putting the finishing touches on her upcoming wedding and then Jesse calls everything off with no explanation whatsoever. Then her parents died in an accident four years ago. And ever since she’s taken over her father’s ranch, it’s been one major event after another from cattle vanishing, an illness killing off part of the herd, to finding her ATM tampered with. After a bale of hay fell hitting her on the back, she’s come to the conclusion that it’s too many “accidents” to be coincidental, but how do you report something if you have no proof. A story filled with action, faith, life lessons, and memorable characters . . .
This story began with a chapter filled with inventive action scenes created by the author. I don't remember taking a breath during the entire chapter! Some strange things—accidents—had been occurring to rancher Sadie Madsen for the past few weeks. The uneasy feelings that had been haunting her culminated with a huge barn fire which quickly devoured her multi-stall barn.
Sadie's faithful companion her collie—Kip—was a source of support to her throughout the trials and tribulations which faced her every day. Kip was one of my favorite characters because let's face it, canine companions can add a lot of depth and emotion to someone's life and a storyline as Kip did in this novel.
Jesse Taylor—Sadie's ex-fiancé—enters the story when he sees the flames at Sadie's ranch from a distance while he is driving to him home. He is able to help her escape from the burning barn only to be greeted by Sadie's very chilly attitude. He dumped Sadie a short time before their wedding, and they hadn't seen or spoken to each other for seven years. Talk about 'awkward.'
In spite of her frosty attitude toward him, Jesse sticks close to her side as she tries to outrun the unknown and unrelentless assailants. As a reader of a lot of books in this genre, I feel this author excels at writing breath-taking, dangerous, and 'close-call' action scenes.
As time goes on, the pair has a chance to discuss the past and what led Jesse to leave without explaining his reasons seven years ago. The emotions that surfaced as they worked through these tough issues were realistic and well-communicated to readers through excellent dialogue. The faith thread was strong and was woven throughout this manuscript.
This was one of my favorite Love Inspired Suspense novels that I've read in the past twelve months. This book is completely clean in content and language.

Park Ranger Jesse Taylor is back in town after a years-long absence which started with him breaking things off with his fiance shortly before their wedding. Driving past his ex's ranch one night, a terrifying sight confronts him. Her barn is ablaze.
Sadie Madsen is trapped in the fire-filled barn when Jesse arrives. She's grateful to be rescued, by WHY did it have to be HIM? Jesse quickly puts together that what looks like an accident was actually done very much on purpose. Someone has been causing more-than-problematic issues for Sadie, and while she thinks she might know why, she doesn't know who. Whoever it is doesn't just want her farm, though. There's clearly a target on her to take her out of the picture permanently. But Jesse won't let that happen, no matter their history. He's praying for a chance to explain, but her heart was badly broken. She doesn't know if forgiveness is possible, no matter what his reasoning was at the time. Long-buried feelings have a way of reappearing, though. Could this Lord be orchestrating a new love amidst all the danger for the former couple?
I love second chance romances, and Wyoming Ranch Sabotage by author Kellie VanHorn does not disappoint! She balances nail-biting, goosebump-giving moments with heartfelt emotion. Plus it has my favorite, an epilogue!

Someone wants Sadie Madsen's ranch and property badly. There have been unexplained accidents and occurrences on her property. Now it seems that someone is not just happy to run her off of her property, they want her dead. Park ranger Jesse Taylor is there to save her and help her. The only problem with this situation is that Jesse shattered her heart many years ago after he broke their engagement. She still does not know why he left her. She realizes she needs him now, and will have to put the past behind her in order to survive.
The intensity in this story was off the charts. Every way Sadie turned, someone was trying to kill her. The action was literally non-stop and no where was safe. It was also an emotional story as they both try to pick up the pieces of a broken relationship. Both Sadie and Jesse also learn to lean on their faith and prayer as they try to survive. There are some really harrowing scenes where you will wonder if everything is going to turn out well. This is a one sitting read for sure.
