Why do I do this to myself? I start a book midway through a series and try to jump in feet first 👣!! The answer is I’m a flip flopping rebel. To be a rebel you should typically be apart of a wolf pack. Maybe shift and shock a few ladies. You know the regularly scheduled program.

Let’s imagine this you are trekking through the wilderness for days. All the animales are getting you. You’re desperate to run away and it seems like the one who is out to get you is hot on your trail. This is what this book is and it tickled all my fancies and made me want to dive much deeper into this series.

This was a fairly easy, low-angst shifter romance read. Mika was a resourceful heroine who continued to fight despite everything she had already given up. Silas wasn't as growly or possessive as I usually like my heroes, but he was determined to protect and support his mate no matter what. I wish there had been more drama and danger, but that's just my personal preference🖤

Part of the Devil’s Pack MC series each can be read as a standalone with shifters and the one who captures his undivided attention. Silas sexy as all get out Devil’s Pack MC a pack of shifters that have either walked away from their packs or rejected from their packs or just plain different but for him after he was rejected by his fated mate and finding out she is now fated to the prince dealing with the rejection has been difficult. They are approached with a job by a man claiming his wife is missing but Silas and Kade another member don’t believe the story he is telling yet the take the job heading to her last know address getting her scent committed to memory. Mika is sweet she is on the run has been for years from a dangerous stalker cutting her pretty long hair dying it a darker color keeps to herself, never really getting to know anyone out of fear, hiding out in Montana living in a cabin thinking it might be her long term place of living, she goes to town for supplies and when she stops for coffee / sandwich where she meets Silas. While she is out looking for berries out in the woods, she gets up close and personal with a bear unsure of how to run and live but then a wolf comes along taking the bear’s attention from her. Mika thanks him for coming to her rescue and invites him to stay with her because a storm is heading their way and to entertain themselves, they play poker, and the loser must spill a secret with each loss. Of course, she loses and by does she lay it out from him about Henry Richards the man who hired him to find her and then she wants to make sure he is from the Devil’s Pack MC. Silas knows she is his second chance mate and he isn’t going to let anyone hurt his mate, will she accept all of him once she knows what he is, will her stalker find her if he does will her protector be there, and is there happiness for the rejected and the stalked?

Silas O’Hagen is part of the Devil’s Pack MC. They are a pack of shifters who were separated from their original pack. His mate rejected him and is now the fated mate to a prince. Silas and his wolf have been sad about the rejection.

Henry Richards approaches Silas to find his missing wife. Silas and his friend Kade are pretty sure Henry is lying about who Mika is to him and that Henry knows exactly why she took off. However, Silas agrees to look for Mika. He starts by going to the address Henry gave him as Mika’s last known address. As a wolf shifter, Silas now has her scent.

Mika Braddish is in Montana and is on the run. She has been running for years. She has been hiking all day and returns to the remote cabin that she is using to hide. This cabin feels like it might just become her long term sanctuary. She cuts her long blond hair and dyes it a dark brunette color.

Mika goes into town for supplies and stops at the local diner for coffee and a sandwich. She meets Silas. Later, when she is foraging in the woods for edible berries, a bear is there. Luckily, so is Silas and his wolf gets the bear to back off without Mika knowing he is a wolf shifter. Mika thanks him and invites him to the cabin because a storm is approaching. They play poker and the loser has to spill a secret. Mika purposely loses and tells Silas that Henry Richards has been stalking her for years since she lived and worked as a receptionist in New York. Mika asks him if he and the Devil’s Pack MC can help her.

I was happy that Silas and his inner wolf get a second chance at love. I loved Mika’s determination to get away from Henry permanently.

As this is in the middle of the series, I went back and used KU to read all of the ones I missed, and then read this one. It was worth it! The whole series had me totally fascinated and they were all sweet and steamy and some were scary too. This one was very hot. Mika, is on the run and the chapter headings are hilarious. My fave is the first one and my response to it is: “anyone who ever saw the OG Buffy movie with Kristie Swanson.” lol. Seeing Silas aka Tracker do his thing in this book was awesome. Not only is he a wolf shifter, but he is just a guy in the MC of Devil’s Pack and they don’t brook with ppl messing with kids and women. They take care of that, the hard and permanent way. Henry asks the MC for help finding his woman who is missing. Kade and Silas know there is something off about the dude, but they can’t put their finger on it and Silas takes the job. Things happen and Mika ends up being Silas’ fated mate. I love the whole story. It is sweet, romantic, hilarious, steamy and hot. It also has a bit of justice/revenge too. I loved that part the best. Muahaha lol. I was rooting for that from the beginning almost. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Mika is on the the run from Henry who has tried to control her life. Henry showed up at the diner where Silas was having coffee wanting him to find 'his missing wife' who had lived in Bozeman, Montana. Henry smells like obsession and lies. Silas, a wolf-shifter and member of the Devil's Pack MC, was known as Tracker. His fellow MC friend, Kade, says that Tracker will take the case. Silas goes to the address that Henry gave him to gather a hints to know her better. Silas was rejected by his ex, his supposed 'fated mate' years before who had just sent him a fancy invitation to her wedding. Mika's scent tells him that she is his 'fated mate' even though she is human. He finds a receipt hidden in her trash inside a snack bag showing purchases from a camping store. What is special about the Devil's Pack MC? Will Tracker be able find her before Henry does? Will Mika trust Silas about being his 'fated mate'?.

Mika is on the run from a stalker, who happens to seek out Tracker's help to track down Mika. From the minute Tracker/Silas sees Mika's photo he is drawn to her. Since he already finds the stalker Henry quite dubious, he treads lightly and manages to track her down and inserts himself into his life and slowly, or actually rather quickly, falls in love with her. Just as she starts to trust him she finds out he was sent by Henry their days of bliss come crashing down. Oh and also, he's a wolf shifter, perhaps a minor inconvenience. Can they survive this?

This was a short and easy read, well-written with short chapters, but I still felt the story was quite well developed enough to be entertaining and to have some depth to the characters. It was the first in the series for me but I would gladly read them all now.

Silas is a wolf shifter and belongs to an MC of shifters. He was rejected by his “fated mate” and is understandably upset by this. He meets Henry who is looking for his wife, Mika. Silas agrees to help Henry even though his story sounds off. Henry gives Silas Mika’s last known address.
Silas is able to track down Mika and even though she is human, he feels that she is his mate. They talk and get to know each other better. At that point, Mika confesses that Henry is stalking her and is trying to control her life in every aspect.
I love Megan Wade books and this is a standout! If you have not yet read her books, do yourself a favor and try her out!.

What a great shifters story. You've been stuck with your book from the start and I could barely put it down. We are drawn into the lives of Mika and Silas. They meet when he is on assignment to find her because Henry, as an ex-military shifter, has him find his wife because she was missing and nothing could be further from the truth, Mika is not his wife and she is most certainly not missing. What she is is that she is on the run. Can he protect her and keep her safe? Their chemistry and attraction is amazing between them and this is a must read.

Silas is a wolf shifter and a Devil's Pack MC member. Mika is running from a dangerous stalker. I loved how the author brought them together when he gets hired by her stalker to find his "missing wife". But, there are some problems she's not his missing wife and she's Silas's fated mate. This is a quick read but it isn't missing a thing. The writing is well done, the characters are well developed and the story has danger, drama, angst, humor, and a great ending. Riding With the Rejected Wolf is a fated mates, shifter romance, and a great addition to the multi-author Devil's Pack MC series. I look forward to reading the rest of the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Silas is a member of the Devil’s pack MC. A group of ex military shifters. He is known for his tracking skills. He is hired by Henry to find his missing wife. Only Mika is not his wife nor is she missing.
Mika is a strong, woman on the run from her stalker.
Silas never thought the woman he is tracking would turned out to be his mate. What happens when she finds out he is tracking her?
Good short read. I love how protective Silas is over Mika and how accepting of him she is.

This is an excellent shifter story. Mika and Silas are great together. It has Mika, a woman on the run, Henry a creepy stalker, and Silas, a hero who will do anything for his mate. But Mika is human and Silas is a wolf shifter, can she ever learn to love him with everything going on in her life. I loved this paranormal romance, it's well written, great characters and hot and steamy. Great happy ever after too.

Good read!

It was mostly an insta-love, but it worked out. I wasn't too sure how Mika would respond to Silas's secret, especially with all she was dealing with. Of course, as with all insta-loves, she went with the flow. I have since learned this author does mostly insta-loves, so I'm not going to wish it was longer. I do, however, wish we had more background on Silas as well as Henry. Also, it would not hurt to know why Mika was alone in the world with not even a friend to confide in. Otherwise, good read do recommend..

Silas and his real mate! This is about Silas and Mika. She is running away from home to escape a stalker, Henry. Unfortunately, the stalker hired a "tracker" to find her. Silas is good and sees her but only appears to her in wolf form. Although he received a wedding invitation from his previous fated mate, who declined him to go with a prince, he now senses that Mika might be his true mate! Will Henry find her, or will Silas and his wolf keep her safe? I love these paranormal BBW romance books. Keep them coming.

This was a really cute fated mates romance though it did deal with a heavier subject matter, namely stalking. I really enjoyed that the storyline had a bit of a twist to it and not everything was as it was first presented. Silas and Mika had a strong bond and I loved her interactions with him in his wolf form. I really loved the story.

It's nice to visit the Devil's Pack MC again, to see Mika and Silas meet, learn their backgrounds and see how they dealt with the challenges they faced. I liked how strong Mila was and how open she was to things. I liked how respectful Silas was to her and how willing he was to give her space when she needed it.

Relatively short story. Mika is on the run, hiding from her stalker. Silas has been hired to find her, but has no intention of handing her over when he does locate her. She is drawn to the man and the wolf, not knowing they are the same. Silas is super sweet to her. Great spice later in the story. I like her acceptance of the situation when he gives her a little time to process it.

I’ve enjoyed this series. There could have been a bit more cohesiveness by having more crossover characters within the stories. So it doesn’t really read a series, just individual stories that are part labeled Devil’s Pack MC. Also this ‘series’ says there are 8 books. This is the sixth. Are there more to come?

Mika is running from a man who doesn't take rejection to well. Silas is a member of the Devils Pack mc and a wolf shifter. Silas is brought into Mika life by chance but fate makes him stay. How will Mika take to him being a shifter and fated mates? Can he keep her safe? Will there be a HEA?

Quick, easy low angst read. This is basically a shifter low suspense romance with almost insta love. The biker and bbw aspects are mostly a sidenote.
