Elizabeth purchases a pitcher for her store from a man and his dog. She realizes later that the pitcher is worth much more so wants to find him. she goes to great lengths to find him and finds a bigger mystery. The sisters are also planning a wedding for a friend. The wedding part did get to be a little much and tiresome with how tired they all were.
This is another of the Guidepost books I enjoy. This is the first in this series I have found. It may be #7 but does very well as a stand alone. It has elements of the 3 sisters that figure in the series but mainly focuses on careering for your fellow man. IT deals with who different events can lead to homeless. How easy it is to overlook one who is struggling.
God does work in mysterious ways and it is not always for us to know how before hand. Life has dealt this young man several deadly blows in recent times and he almost can't take it. The story is about family and friends and how God never means for us to be alone. It is a wonderful storyline and encourages us all to see "really see" all the people around us.
This takes place in October. The mystery is about a missing person, a lost dog, a sold truck, and an expensive pitcher. There also a wedding being planned and the drama that comes with it.
