A Hood Boss and His BBW Side Chick
Jamel, also known as Mel, is a successful drug dealer who has never followed the typical path of going to school and working a nine-to-five job. All he has ever known is how to make money on the streets. He’s never been one to listen to what others have to say, always wanting things done his way.
Working for another drug boss is not something he wants to do forever, especially if it means dealing with Shana, the plug’s daughter. She constantly nags him and wants to be involved in his business, but Mel doesn’t have time for that. However, his current plan will set him up for life, even though falling in love with Shana was never part of it.
On the other hand, Lola is a confident and beautiful plus-size woman who has always faced criticism because of her size. But she doesn’t let it bring her down and walks with her head held high. Her upbringing wasn’t easy, with a mother who only cared about appearance and a father who was too busy with work to notice her struggles. Lola isn’t looking for love until she meets Mel and sees potential for a real connection.
Will Mel go to extreme lengths to be his own boss, leaving Shana and finding love with Lola?

A Hood Boss
This bull💩 got Louis' and/or his trifling azz daughter Lena's name all over it. She so bitter and butt hurt when she should have been moved along. How many times and ways do a person gotta tell you they don't want you before you get the message. I like Lola for Mel and obviously he likes her more than he do Lena. I just hope he pulls through. Duece ain't about to let his boy getting hit slide. He bout to nut up. If Nola was involved in any kinda way her best bet is to get ghost. Imma need to see how this plays out.❤❤

Things have just taken a turn for the worse..
Lola and Shauna are best friends who have had their share of drama in their lives. Meeting Mel and Deuce has been the best thing that has happened to them both even if they are dealing with their delusional exes and their need to not move on. A night of celebration for the couples has taken a turn for the worse and I hope Mel is okay in part 2.

Whew…
The way AK Scott leaves you hanging after reeling you in needs to be studied!!! This was an amazing read and if you’re not careful you’ll read it all in one sitting! Definitely recommend!

This well written, drama filled read has a great storyline. With it's likeable, well developed characters, street drama and crazy exes. That cliff hanger really left a lot of questions. I can't wait for book two of this series.

Even though I’m disappointed at how the book ended, it was a good story. I love the confidence Mel instilled into Lola. Society is so harsh towards plus size women. I will just wait for part 2

GOOD BOOK!!!
This was my first read from this author but not my last. I loved this book. That ending got me excited about the next book. I can’t wait to read part 2. A. K Scott I look forward to reading the rest of your work.
