Growth Hero 4

Rate this book
Alex has truly made himself home in the fantasy world. With the help of his overpowered growth skill, his stats have soared higher and higher, reaching staggering heights. He's not the only one to benefit, as those wild gains also apply to the four lovely ladies at his side.

With the Demon threat over, and Floternus saved, Alex can now focus his efforts on rebuilding the city, with perhaps a little bit of grinding here and there.

At least, a long as nothing else pressing comes along...

Authors Inspired by light novels, RPG's and mangas. Contains Isekai, light LitRPG/ Gamelit stats, dungeons, magic and a touch of trope.

Waited Quite a While

I enjoyed the first three episodes, and looked forward to volume 4. Now that I’ve finished it, I’ve some thoughts.

The editing could’ve used at least one more set of eyes - spelling and grammar were noticeably off, and at times even paragraphs seemed to out of place.

It was cute for awhile, but one character’s constant refrain of ‘On my honor…’ got old pretty quickly from excessive overuse. As did the MCs ‘Aw shucks I was hoping to grind’ obsession, or the bombast of the Duke’s son, or the retainer who lives for gossip, or the scientist and his note taking, etc.

The MCs magical stats growth notwithstanding, none of the characters seem to progressing toward growing out of their annoying habits. Sure, their stats progress along with the MCs, but there really should be more substantial character development. I wish we could see the supporting cast taking the POV once in a while.

I appreciated the introduction of the Elven Princess, but that whole thing with the Elves refusing to sell the mineral to make the poison gas, and then that battle with the ‘Grand Monster Stag’ literally made no sense. A lot of words were devoted to that arc and it wasn’t even a factor in the subsequent battle scene.

I still enjoyed the episode, but I was hoping to see more mature character evolution.

Enjoyable, but repetitive

The further i get into this series, the more annoyed I get with the repetitiveness of some of the writing. Namely the descriptors for each of the women. I don't know how many times I can read them labeled as blonde/crimson/brown haired beauty before it gets old, but we are well past that point. Then there's the My Lady/Sovereign thing that just keeps going and going. At this point it almost feels like I'm back in school trying to reach a word count for an essay. Other than that, the series is still interesting, it's just the writing that is bringing down the rating for me.

Growth hero growing story

Another installment in this fun series. Our hero, Alex is growing stronger. Of course, with a bevy of ladies around him and a new one on the horizon. It seems that the monsters and evils and problems are not going away easily. Alex Must explore his new and growing powers and understand them if he is to defeat the coming enemies. Good fun read looking forward to the next.

Growth Hero 4 by Brent Tyman

Absolutely fantastic, a brilliant story, truly amazing characters and engaging baddies. Excellent imagination and suburb fight scenes. It also leads to more adventures in future books. Well done. Gary Challenger from Devon UK.

A vast and well thought out plot

The characters are intriguing, full of life, funny, and fascinating to watch while they spend time together. It will be very interesting to see where the story goes from here and how the elven princess changes the dynamics.

Excellent read! Next please!

As usual, this is a really good read. As expected of the author. Lot of actions, passions, and edge of chair suspensions! I highly recommend this and look forward to the next books!
