This 150-day devotional and study of the Psalms will be a thought-provoking addition to your daily quiet time and will supply biblical insight to time-tested truths. There is a richness in each Psalm from which we can glean the answers to many of life's questions as we take a closer look. Each day in Pathlight to Praise captures a close snapshot of a specific verse or set of verses.
So, take a walk through the Psalms with author Kristi Neace, MDiv., and gain a deeper understanding of God's love for you!

I read an advanced reading copy of the book and I found it to be insightful and thought provoking. While the actual psalm excerpts are short and the commentaries after each are also brief, the questions provided get to the heart of the matter, relating each psalm to difficulties we all have in contemporary life. Ms. Neace noted the authors of the psalms along with the time and circumstances of the writing, which helped to bring the psalms into focus. As a devotional aid, I thought this was exceptional and worthy of reading often.
What a breath of fresh air. Kristi Neace designed a devotional that focuses on verses of a psalm and then adds thoughtful insight and a reflective question.
This is an easy addition to your walk with God. Neace brings out insightful commentary of the verses. This is a great way to start your day with God.
I found this book of devotionals to be a wonderful tool to accompany me on my journey through the Psalms. Kristi Neace has a lovely and insightful way of digging out the truths, both simple and complex, in these beloved Old Testament songs and making them applicable to modern day life. She utilizes personal experiences and observations and thought provoking questions to make the reader really think about what they are reading. Pathlight to Praise is not a one-time read, but a resource I will turn to again and again as often as I return to the book of Psalms. Highly Recommended.
With short devotional passages and a couple of verses of a psalm each day, this is an excellent book for the bedside table, either for first think in the morning or last thing at night. Or you could simply do what I did and read it in one sitting.
