Finding TomPaul: And Other Tales From The Multiverse
Finding TomPaul is a set of commonly themed short stories from the multiverse.
The main story, “Finding TomPaul,” is a pseudo-play with acts instead of chapters, written as a first-person narrative journal-memoir. The journal’s author, “Jandi,” is a cis male short-order cook and civilian that falls in love with a famous fleet officer and beautiful woman, Lt. Commander Thomas Pauline Lawson, commonly known as “TomPaul” for short.
When Jandi learns that TomPaul is really a transgender woman who has kept her true identity secret, Jandi must grapple between his feelings of true love for TomPaul, and the trans and homophobic bigotries embedded into him by their highly intolerant and transphobic society.
While Finding TomPaul is an introductory set of multiverse short stories and TomPaul's origin story, the developed TomPaul character is a magical and interdimensional being that travels the multi-verse. Of course, the magic is real (quantum science), and transgender people are definitely, definitely welcome.
