From Love Inspired Suspense: Courage. Danger. Faith.
This book had me completely hooked! If you are looking for a fast paced romantic suspense with faith themes, definitely pick this one up! The suspense had me locked in and I had to find out how it ended. It was very fast paced and there were so many plot twists I didn’t see coming. I loved how faith in God is interwoven throughout and that this book teaches us that we can’t control every aspect of our lives. We must surrender our hearts and plans to the Lord. The romance was sweet and emotional, and the ending was perfect!
Was grabbed from the first paragraph. I wanted the strangle and shake the guy asking why he didn't believe? But eventually Love revealed itself and the truth shone through. Gods Love. Even snow eventually melts and reveals its truth too. Enjoy this e read it is worth it.
Suspense so well written I didn't want to put it down!
This book is so well written that I felt like I knew the characters and was transported to the setting of their Colorado mountain ski town. The suspense built at just the right pace to make you want to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next. For being her debut book, we will all be blessed to be able to read her next works because they are destined to be just as good.
Not sure about writing a review. I hate book reports because I never know what to say. Well I loved this book and the author is new to me. Not new for very long because I love her story telling. So again, I LOVED this book
What a page turner! The author kept up the adventure and excitement not only of the story line but of the two main characters. I highly recommend this clean suspense with romance for anyone to read. Grab a copy. You won't be disappointed.
What a great book for fast-moving entertainment, believable characters, and ski-resort escape. This well-written book's romance is not cookie-cutter, and that's one of the things I liked. A surprise over every snowy ridge!
Phew! This was a listen in one gulp kind of suspense and Lydia Lee did an amazing job with the narration. She really captured the essence of these characters and the tension of the suspense. She kept me enthralled every minute.
Brrrr – it may be April but Summers transported me back to the worst winter weather days with her descriptive action scenes. I had to check my toes to make sure they weren’t frostbitten.
The pacing is fast and furious as Graham and Layla struggle to evade a relentless killer. Lots of wilderness survival struggles but luckily they have Search and Rescue K-9 Emmy and her specialized training to back them up.
Edge of your seat suspense paired with a (kinds, sorta) reunion romance (they were friends with the potential for more so not quite full on second chance) makes for a riveting read…or listen…depending on your preference.
Lots of adventure and suspense in this one. Whom do you trust when you've been told to trust no one? The romance is really a small part of the story as the two protagonists are too busy trying to stay alive to think about anything else--though they are constantly trying to protect each other.
We don't get details of what Flint has been doing, other than murdering people when they learn too much (but what have they really learned?). Emma, the dog, really steals the show. Graham and Layla are likeable characters. Layla's resourcefulness and courage stand out in this book.
Exciting. Graham know his best friend died suspiciously but no one will listen. They Layla- his friends sister shows up after disappearing 2 years ago. She watched a murder and now the killer is after her- and graham too. This rescue dog is an avalanche dog.
this is one of the cringier books ive read. i wasnt ready for the intensity at which god was involved. i wasnt ready for the CHEESY romance. or the weird portrayal of ski patrol. 😂😂😂😂 but it was a coherent story...
