2.5 stars, I thought this book was ok. I did not care for Gracie at all.

This story was super cute! Who doesn't love a nanny and her employer romance?
Trent is temporarily raising his three nieces, and Gracie is finally back in town, looking for a fresh start. The twist? Trent remembers Gracie from high school, and that run-in wasn’t great. Back then, she was rebellious and a bit irresponsible. But Gracie promises she’s changed, and Trent, desperate for a sitter, reluctantly takes a chance on her.
At first, there’s tension. Can he really trust her with the girls? But the more time they spend together, sparks fly. From the beginning, the chemistry between them is undeniable. Still, both are dealing with past disappointments and heartbreaks, and with three little girls depending on them, taking things further feels risky.
But is it worth it? Yes! But that would mean taking that leap of faith- something neither is ready for.
Add in the sweetness of the girls, a lovely slow-burn romance, and even a hint of mystery, and this book is just such a cozy, swoon-worthy read. You all have to check out this sweet romance between Gracie and Trent!

Trent Lloyd sensed mutiny in the air.
If he didn’t ask any questions, there was a slim chance he’d avoid whatever headache his three nieces were preparing to hit him with from the back seat of his truck. One by one, the trio buckled their seat belts. Click, click, click. The snowy weather couldn’t be more miserable for a Monday in the third week of March. That was Jewel River, Wyoming, for you, though—harsh winters were the norm. Trent checked the rearview mirror as he backed out of the babysitter’s driveway.
Three blondes with different shades of blue eyes met his gaze in the mirror. None of them looked happy.
Nine-year-old Emma sat directly behind him, four-year-old Noelle was kicking her legs from the booster seat in the middle and seven-year-old Sadie sat in a matching booster seat on the other side of Noelle.
“We aren’t going back there. The three of us decided.” Emma tended to assume responsibility for her younger sisters. Sadie was more reserved, but her brain never stopped processing information. And little Noelle had Trent wrapped around her pinkie finger and tied into a tight bow. All three of them did, really.
The girls had been living with him for over a week, and his carefully ordered life had been turned inside out and upside down, leaving him thoroughly shaken.
Kevin had been assigned on a special mission for twelve—possibly eighteen—months. The covert operation meant Trent had no idea where his brother was or what he was doing.
His highly classified government job—one that didn’t technically exist on paper—was the reason the girls were living with Trent.
While Kevin had assured him he’d do everything in his power to FaceTime the girls every other Sunday afternoon, Trent knew it wouldn’t always be possible.
The girls’ mother had died two years ago.
She’d never thought she’d call Jewel River home again. Yet here she was.
Gracie French tucked her legs under her body and carefully sipped her tea as she sat on her comfy, beige plush couch, a bargain she’d picked up from Goodwill last week, and stared at the snow swirling outside her living room window. She loved the view of R. Mayer Chocolates across the road with its pretty striped awning and decorated picture window. From her living room, she could watch everything happening on Center Street.
The movers Gracie had hired had unloaded everything Saturday afternoon, and her best friend, Brooke Dewitt, had helped her set up the apartment Sunday. For it only being Tuesday, she was reasonably happy with her progress unpacking. The small apartment above the dentist’s office had been a blessing from the Lord. With two bedrooms, a galley kitchen, a small dining area and a large bathroom with a stackable washer and dryer, the price was right and the location perfect.
Now, if she could just find a job...

I love Jill Kemerer’s delightful stories set in the small town of Jewel River, Wyoming. Kemerer is a master at creating realistic, engaging characters that the reader can relate to. In The Cowboy’s Easter Surprise, Gracie French has returned to town where her reputation wasn’t the greatest. She’s intent on proving that she’s reformed and is a dependable, responsible person. Trent Lloyd has temporary guardianship of his three nieces and needs a caretaker for them, but his only option is Gracie, who hadn’t made a great impression on him during high school.
“All she’d really wanted was someone to care about her. To feel like she was important to someone.”
I enjoyed seeing the relationship between Trent and Gracie change and grow as they interact with each other and with the three adorable girls. This is a clean and wholesome Christian fiction story filled with inspiration, faith, hope, and redemption. It’s a great addition to the Wyoming Legacies series.

Great story with 3 sweet little girls!
Trent is caring for his 3 young nieces while his step brother does some secret work in the government for a year or so. It's hard to go from a bachelor living across the road from his work to caring for a 3-year-old, a 7-year-old and a 9-year-old. So when he hears that Gracie is back home and looking for a job, he hires her to look after the girls. But has she really changed from the wild child she was in high school? Can he trust her to take care of the girls, and what about his heart? Read this to find out!
The pace is fast and the tone is uncertain with a character centered storyline that has a little action and a few kisses. The characters are vibrant and engaging. The Christian ideals are a major part of the story. Read these s great series in order to get the most out of this story.

I LOVED this book!! The three little girls steal the show!! Trent knew who Gracie was, but he was four years older than her. Gracie left town for years, but now she's back. She thinks she has a job, but it fell through, and now she's looking for work. Trent needs a nanny for his three nieces. He had a babysitter, but she didn't work out. So, Gracie goes to work for Trent. Neither is looking for love; Trent thinks he can't have the job he loves and a girlfriend, and Gracie wants a man who really wants to be with her. The more they're together, the more they're drawn to each other. Seeing how Trent and Gracie grow in their relationship with each other, and how they both rely on God to help them get their acts together, is a great story!! And, throw in the three precious girls, it's a great read! There were a few spots that had me totally laughing out loud!!

This is a sweet, heartwarming story about overcoming past mistakes, forgiveness, self-reflection, hope, faith, and love. As Gracie and Trent work together to care for Trent's nieces, their relationship changes gradually, causing them to reevaluate some things from their pasts. Their story kept me engaged from beginning to end, with their interactions with each other and with the girls. I especially liked the connection to the parable of the unforgiving servant. It was a perfect touch to this endearing story, making it one that is not to be missed.

The Cowboy's Easter Surprise is a Christian, heartwarming romance full of hope, love, moving past mistakes and taking charge of and responsibility for your life. Gracie and Trent are temporarily responsible for three darling girls. I loved watching these two adults work together to heal hurts from the past while caring for Trent’s nieces. This sweet, well written romance swept me up into its world and I read straight through the book!

What a sweet story. And don’t you love that cover? Author Jill Kemerer gives us a “can’t put it down” story of family, growing up, and three of the cutest girls imaginable. It’s so much fun.
Will Gracie and Trent be able to move beyond the past? Can Gracie prove that she’s grown up? Well developed characters make this a worth reading.

This was a sweet read! When we are scared to the point of anger, we need to calm down before using our words. Gracie French was looking for love and acceptance in all the wrong places as a teen. She has changed her ways and is back in town. Her job fell thru, but Trent Lloyd has his nieces for at least a year and he is looking for a nanny. He rescued Gracie from one of her wilder escapades when she was younger. Can he trust her to take care of his nieces?

Love love and love this story!! We all face times in life where we just don't measure up to the expectations that we place on ourselves, or that others place on us. Thankfully, God never does that, He loves us unconditionally, even when we make mistakes. There is no sin that He cannot forgive in full.

This was a delightful story about three little girls who come to live with their single cowboy uncle while their dad is away on a job. And their beloved nanny, Gracie French, who was a former classmate of their uncle's. Add in a little mystery that's happening a the stables, and you're in for quite a story!

This is a sweet story with plenty of adventure, fun, angst, and a touch of mystery. I enjoyed this story about a bachelor uncle taking over the care of his three nieces. Both hero and heroine have pasts to overcome. Add in some horses, dogs, and yummy treats for a lovely story.

This was just so sweet! The characters are well-written, and I just loved the 3 little girls. The book has a strong message of faith in God, a beautiful setting, and a wonderful love story! I highly recommend it!!

This story was extremely captivating in demonstrating the renewing of faith and forgiveness with the love of family! Each character was created with numerous aspects to enhance and improve the other well-being while maintaining a rich relationship within their own environment.

Such a sweet story. Loved reading about Trent's 3 nieces and their babysitter Gracie. I like that Gracie made a big life change and took the chance to come back to her old hometown. I had fun reading this story and my attention was kept while reading the story.

Wow! Jill Kemerer has done it again with this installment of the Wyoming Legacies series. Kemerer’s stories of the cowboys and ranchers of Jewel River are a delight to read. Trent and Gracie’s story drew me in from the beginning. Gracie has much to overcome to be seen as a reliable person, but can Trent overlook who she was to truly see who she is! Kemerer’s secondary characters add to the story. I love seeing characters that were in previous books and I just adore his sweet nieces.
