Unfortunately, people are either unaware of them, and therefore do not align themselves accordingly, or they simply are not applying them consistently. As a result, many people seek to achieve goals, but find that the results they desire constantly elude them.

I am an author, speaker, publisher, and entrepreneur. I have written several books and training programs. Most importantly, I strive to be an awesome husband, father and friend.
My mission is to inspire people to unleash their greatness within. I believe that every person has enormous potential, value and individual worth. The question isn’t whether or not someone has greatness or not – rather a major piece to life’s puzzle is discovering ones individual greatness, releasing it, and contributing it in a meaningful way. My favorite quote is from George Lucas (the creator of Star Wars) “We are all living in cages with the doors wide open.”

I love this book. Reading this has given me the opportunity to see that I really have the choice to make a decision to do something and make it happen, instead of just being interested and not following through. I have make some recent decisions that I am fully committed to by practicing the principles taught in this book.
This book is full of wisdom from the ages. Of all the self-help/success books I've read, it is one of the top because it covers all the major principles for succeeding in one book. It is very practical and easy to apply. I've already made some suggested changes in the way I go about achieving my goals and it has clearly made a difference.
A motivational book with great ideas for achieving the things in life you want most. At times it felt rather pep talky and I had to remember he is a motivational speaker before he is a writer. I could definitely feel and hear T.J.'s enthusiasm the whole way through.
I think this book is essential for anyone who is eager to improve themselves as a person and gives you knowledge. It mostly focuses on the good things you can do not much on the bad things you have. I you plan to achieve more things you haven't done before but you really want to to something, then this book is for you.
I love this book! Entertaining, Insightful and Motivational. This book is one of my favorite personal-development books of all time. I can highly recommend If You Think You Can! to everyone.
If You Think You Can! by TJ Hoisington is the perfect read to start off the new year! Remember all those goals you set that you never achieve? Well, that problem will be solved if you follow the 13 laws he discusses. This book is well written. It is such a positive book, which I love. When you're reading it you feel like you can conquer the world...or your day! I have been listening to TJ's podcast for a long time, and and he has taken the positive and hopeful feelings from his podcast and somehow managed to fill his book with them. The laws he lists are practical and doable, and I love all the examples he has with each one. I also liked how he left room at the end of each chapter for you to write your reflections and the steps you'll take to achieve your goals. I liked this book a lot and have even implemented some of the laws into my life. Like I said previously, this is the perfect book to motivate and uplift you to start the new year off right! "If you think you can!" is a brilliant read. It's concise, clear and caters to people at different stages in the growth mindset - including the ones who aren't thinking about self growth at all. The use of countless little stories as lessons makes it so effective. This book emphasizes on one fact: "No matter how bleak your circumstances may look, achievement is still possible for you.", and acts as a 13-step guide for achievement.
Reading this book was a journey in self-acceptance and self-growth. I made numerous little notes in the margins, underlining multiple quotes, lessons and references along the way. This is a book I will definitely read again.
The book that helped me a lot to overcome the hard times I had. It is the right choice to read any time of your life. Always remember: it is never too late to start what you like to do NOW.

The essence and the idea of the book is brilliant. Alternate your thinking and habits and get to where you want to be. I love the fact that this book does not hide the fact that it is hard work to achieve and that it demands a lot of you. The book did motivate me to do some things but I didn't really appreciate the language/style of the writing. It was…hmm…almost too carefully explained. It is, however, a book I'd recommend to anyone who could use a little motivation :)
I enjoyed this book. I really liked the stories and examples about specific successful people on how they achieved their success. The principles are so logical and simple, and yet so powerful. We tend to forget the simplicity of success. Most people try to complicate it. I really liked how TJ put it all together and reminds the reader that we can do it. It's a conscience choice though.
This book was written by a man in my ward, it's a great motivational book, and I really enjoyed it. I had to take a few breaks though, because my attention kept wandering.
Am amazing look at "comfort zone" and how to truly achieve that which you imagine possible. I have met the author, and he really is a living teacher and coach of success.
