It was supposed to be a weekend of fun. The last book signing of the season with me and my three author besties. Meeting readers, making memories, and sharing outlandish stories that would undoubtedly make their way into our books.

I wasn’t supposed to drink too many cocktails and start a book boyfriend business.
And I definitely wasn’t supposed to run into my brother’s best friend or help myself to his room.
The only thing that could make this weekend worse: getting snowed in with him.

Colton Callahan is as frosty as they come and one of Boston’s most eligible bachelors. The girls think I should take him on as my first client, but he’s not looking for his Ice Queen, and I’m not offering to find her.

The man is a walking red flag in a finely tailored suit, and I’m a toasted marshmallow because red happens to be my favorite color, and he is no longer the Scrooge he used to be.

My holiday goals were set. Take on a client, write a best seller, and help my brother with the Christmas tree farm. But what do you do if your brother’s best friend is the book boyfriend, and you’re supposed to hate him?

Ladies and gentlemen book #4 and the final book of our book boyfriend builder series and LA has smashed it out. How do these ladies get these stories out. I am in awe. Jojo and colton, small town, brothers best friend and kinda sworn mortal enemy, can I ask for anything more. LA steps out of her usual romantic suspense and gives us this fun , dislike like rom-com ai ai ai ai, I loved it. The enemies to lovers drove really hard in this book. With the Christmas theme running in this one I might have to just steal Colton all for myself. I cannot mention enough and scream on top of the roof, mature adult friendships are so underrated.
This funny novella brings everything we love and crave. Jojo is out the moonlighting as an author and is running her family's Christmas tree farm. Scrounging up money to try and get more business in and releasing her books on the DL . Colton is just so intrigued as to who Jojo has turned out to be. Definitely not the kid he knew when he was growing up. All in for laughs and smexy time and boom. Magic!!

I am loving the Book Boyfriend Builders series and I cannot believe this is the final book. I’ve loved each story and the characters! I think JoJo and Colton just might be my favorite. Hating the Book Boyfriend gives you all the feels with the constant will they or won’t they, brother’s best friend, and the small talk holiday feel. JoJo is trying to make her author side of life successful, but she is pulled in all different directions especially now with her new business with her author friends. Colton is escaping his life for the time and trying to figure out what his future will look like, which brings him back to the small town he used to live in when he was younger. As the holiday season gears up, JoJo and Colton are constantly around each other, yet not all the time either with some strategic planning. However, the pull between these two is becoming harder to ignore, but secrets and lies could possibly ruin it before it even starts. Colton and JoJo take us on a wild adventure filled with all the banter, steam, and moments you just want to shake the characters. You’ll be devouring this book to find out what will happen. Loved these characters and this series.

I am a smitten kitten after reading this book!!! Holy mother of all the stars in the sky, I am in LOVE! With! Colton! And in a fierce way!!

Talk about a grumpy mcgrumpkins (wanna be) - that can melt the clothes right off my body! Goodness gravy, mercy me I have found my newest book boyfriend and I am not down for sharing, but you all HAVE TO grab this book!!

The tropes in this one are perfect for the season upon us all! SNOWED IN- I mean what’s not to love?! It throws that forced proximity, no choice but to be around each other vibe, right at ya! It’s written beautifully too!!

After being snowed in, in a Colorado resort- JoJo finds herself stuck in an icy situation when she runs into her brother’s best friend, whom She hasn’t seen in some time. And he still has that cocky- jerkish attitude, but he still looks like that eye candy you just can’t stop looking at.

And JoJo - the bad@Ss that she is, really brings this story to life with her personality and banter she likes to throw at Colton! She is such a fun time and I love everything about her character and the development throughout the story! I’m also a little jealous of her because- Mr. Callahan had my body aching in all the right ways! But I just live vicariously through JoJo!

This story brings in all The emotions, angst, steamy moments,
Shut the front door moments and everything in between! You will find yourself listing for the next book boyfriend and craving this story from start to finish!

LA did an amazing job with creating which a great holiday season universe and I loved everything about the story!

Oh. My. Freaking. Gosh.

I am WEAK for a brother's best friend romance and this one hit ALL the elements of a great one.

Colton and JoJo wrap up the Book Boyfriend Builder novella collaboration and the entire ride was a high.

Four best author friends have a lot of drinks and decide to start a business helping men be more boy bookfriend like. The next morning each friend goes their own way to start their Book Boyfriend Builder adventure. JoJo ends up snowed into her hotel running into the last person she ever wanted to ask for help, her brother's best friend. Colton is 🥵 and has basically loved JoJo since they met but, of course, being his best friends little sister it can't happen. These two fight the attraction HARD but love can't be stopped.

I enjoyed this one so much! Even though they are all set during the holidays, the Book Boyfriend felt the most Christmasy. Maybe since it took place on a Christmas tree farm. I can't wait to read these books again and again. Maybe another collab for the weddings. 👀

This book was utter perfection. I couldn’t put it down and it had me hooked from the start. It was sweet, fun, funny, SPICY, angsty, and man did I just want to shake the characters every once in a while! I had those cozy, wrap up by the fire with my favorite sweatshirt and blanket, my favorite drink, and ignore the world vibes (I did all those things but the next to the fire piece through reading most of this). This was my very FIRST LA Ferro book and now I’m dying to pour through every book she has out. 5 stars isn’t enough! Pick this book up now!

I absolutely loved this storyline. The characters were spunky, there was great emotion, and I felt connected to them. I hope to read a spin-off story for Archie someday. This was a wonderful wrap-up to a great series. I had been wondering if the BBB girls would take on more clients and I'm happy to see that was answered here. I found their adventures highly entertaining.

I absolutely loved Jojo and Colton's story. A perfect ending to this fabulous series!
Colton is just the perfect book boyfriend, no the perfect dream man! He has a heart of gold, knew deep down from the start what and who he wants and it's just perfect!
I love Jojo's independence, her love for family and being an author. She knows what matters most to her, even if it takes her a while to figure it out.
I would recommend this one and the whole series to be honest!

What in the holiday rom-com did I just read??? LA brings us the last installation of the 4-part BBB series and what an ending that was. She rounds this series off right before the holidays with a black cat meets black... well, Colton is definitely not a golden retriever... can we dub him a doberman? Because he's super grumpy and ornery, while Jojo is also kind of brusk and don't give a shizzz - at least when it comes to Colton. He's definitely grumpy while she just doesn't give AF. But hers is rooted in strength of character and her own conviction, which I appreciate because I appreciate an authentic strong female lead and Jojo is that.

This story feels like it's got like 3 parts to it, the first being when Jojo concocts the BBB business with her three romance author friends, the second part is where she's snowed in at the hotel and what transpires between her and Colton, while the third part... well, I'm not giving away where that part transpires or what happens. No spoilers here. But each part feels like its own story, and it builds the premise and the background of each character. But it's all wrapped up in a super cute snowed-in, X-mas tree setting and gives you all the cutesy holiday vibes.

For anyone who's read my reviews of LA's books, you know I love her way with words, and this one's no different. I loved all four BBB books and this one concludes them which is sad that it's over, but it was an incredible ride!

I just finished this book and I freaking love it. I love the whole kind of friends to lovers. I love how she found the dog at the gas station and took it home ugh my heart. I love how he step up and help out and told her brother the truth about everything before she told her brother. I’m glad that he told her brother that he wants to marry her so freaking sweet.

Hating the Book Boyfriend de L.A. Ferro

Argumento:

Se suponía que iba a ser un fin de semana divertido. La última sesión de firmas de libros de la temporada con mis tres mejores amigos escritores y yo. Conocería a lectores, crearía recuerdos y compartiría historias extravagantes que, sin duda, acabarían en nuestros libros.

No se suponía que bebiera demasiados cócteles ni que empezara un negocio de novios literarios.
Y definitivamente no se suponía que me encontrara con el mejor amigo de mi hermano o que me fuera a su habitación.

Lo único que podría empeorar este fin de semana: quedarme encerrada en casa con él por la nieve.

Colton Callahan es un hombre frío como ningún otro y uno de los solteros más codiciados de Boston. Las chicas creen que debería aceptarlo como mi primer cliente, pero él no está buscando a su Reina de Hielo y yo no me estoy ofreciendo a encontrarla.

El hombre es una bandera roja andante con un traje elegantemente confeccionado y yo soy un malvavisco tostado porque resulta que el rojo es mi color favorito y él ya no es el Scrooge que solía ser.

Mis objetivos para las vacaciones estaban fijados. Aceptaría un cliente, escribir un best seller y ayudar a mi hermano con la granja de árboles de Navidad. ¿Pero qué haces si el mejor amigo de tu hermano es el novio del libro y se supone que debes odiarlo?



Mi humilde opinión:

Romance navideño de enemigos a amantes, mejor amigo del hermano, pueblo pequeño, proximidad forzada, él cae primero, quemadura lenta.

Él fingió odiarla porque estaba fuera de los limites, fue su mecanismo de defensa desde que la conoció cuando eran pequeños. Ella siempre odio al chico que la atormentó toda su vida hasta que un encuentro años después descubre la verdad detrás del bully.

Me encantó la historia de Colton y JoJo! No pude dejarla! Es de enemigos a amantes divertido y lindo. Hay tensión, añoranza, celos, bromas, pasión, drama, recuerdos de la infancia, vibras navideñas… me dieron todos los sentimientos.

Me divirtió el Colton celoso, era protector, posesivo y dulce, hizo cosas por JoJo para el desmayo, definitivamente mi clase de novio de libro. Lo único que me pareció algo exagerado fue que siendo adultos, una charla con Archy sobre sus sentimientos quizás le hubiera evitado estar tantos años sin la mujer que amaba. Entendí que respetaba los códigos de amigos pero Archy al final estaba de acuerdo con la relación. También su reacción al descubrir la conversación del chat en el teléfono y que JoJo era escritora me pareció innecesaria. Pero adoré su personaje y cómo cambio a lo largo del libro, al final encontró donde pertenecía realmente.

JoJo era una mujer que iba por lo que quería y me gustó que no tuviera miedo a hacerlo. Le costó un poco creerle a Colton pero estuvo bien que quisiera que le demuestre que la quería y no jugaba. En lugar de ser el chico el que va en busca de la chica es la chica la que va en busca del chico. Es otra cosa que gusto de la heroína, no dudaba en ir y arreglar las cosas.

El final es muy romántico con un compromiso de año nuevo, me dejo con ganas de saber lo que continua en los próximos capítulos de Colton y JoJo.

This is the 4th and final book in the BBB series and I’m so glad I got to read these. I am so sad it's over because these books were phenomenal. I'm already desperately hoping for more. But I am so so so happy that I got to read these, talk about them with people who also read them, and make some new friends. Each story was so different, but I loved them all. And I'm probably already about to reread this one because it was that good. When there were scenes with all of the girls, I couldn't contain my laughter. The scenes themselves were hilarious, but on top of that I just kept picturing the authors as their characters and it made it 10 times more enjoyable, if that's even possible. And now knowing that the group chat actually exists, and some of these things were actually spoken in them…I am so in love. I love all of these authors so getting to read all of these made my year. I really hope I get to read more collabs by these authors. There is not much I wouldn’t have given to be a fly on the wall on their writing retreat.


Let me just start this off by saying I'm pretty sure I highlighted half of the book. Jojo and Colton were on FIRE. They had this insane, unparalleled chemistry. Once they got to the christmas tree farm, everything felt very whimsical and Hallmark-y and I was absolutely 1000% in love with this book. From the very first chapter I loved JoJo and Colton separately and was dying for them to get together. I loved how mature and adult they seemed as opposed to most enemies to lovers in books. I may just have to steal Colton for myself. Granted, I did spend this entire book pretending I was JoJo.


It was funny, spicy, dramatic, christmassy, and everything I could possibly want in a holiday romance. Even the pacing of the book was perfect. This was just an all-around phenomenal novella. I was the most excited for this book and it did not let me down. Once I saw the character art for this book, I just absolutely knew I had to have it in my hands. Knowing that JoJo has her a christmas tree farm and the tropes I knew I was gonna love this book. There was no way I wasn't. And I'm not even someone that usually even looks at character art until I finish the book. I'm usually not a big fan of it regardless, but if you get a chance go look at it because it's amazing. I am an enemies to lovers, small town girl and this really scratched that itch so well. I think this may be my new favorite holiday romance.

“Hating the Book Boyfriend” is the fourth book in the “Book Boyfriend Builders Series.” There is four book in this series, written by different authors. The fourth book is written by L.A. Ferro - the story can best be described as an enemies to lovers romance, with quite a few other tropes thrown in. I found myself laughing out loud so many times whilst reading.

JoJo and her best author friends, Gemma, Ava and Libby, are all at a book signing together. Later that night, lounging around in their pj’s and after copious amounts of alcohol, they come up with the idea of “Training men to become book boyfriends” via one on one consultations. They make an amazing video and post it on social medial for applications.

JoJo leads a double life. No one knows that she is a published romance writer, not even her brother Archie, and especially not his best friend, Colton. After her friend’s changed their flights and left early due to a severe change in the weather, JoJo is staying as her brother is picking her up the next morning. Plans all go awry when they get snowed in, Archie is delayed due to the weather and JoJo has no room. Hence, she ends up sharing Colton’s room.

“Her caramel eyes connect with mine, the gold flecks in them easily bewitching me for seconds longer than I should ever hold her gaze. The instant I think she sees someone other than the man I've always been, I avert my eyes.”

JoJo is unaware that Colton is staying at the farm, hiding away from the “scandal” that embroiled around him on the east coast. He needed to escape and work out what he really wants to do with his life - decide what will make him happy.

Colton is one of Boston’s most eligible bachelor’s and the girls think that JoJo should take him on as a client. Her answer is a definitive NO, but how long can she deny her attraction to Colton? Despite the love/hate vibe, they are totally attracted to each other! Will Colton be prepared to break the “bro code” for love? Will JoJo finally let her barriers down and admit her true feelings towards Colton? In the meantime, the fireworks fly …..

I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful romantic comedy. From page to page, chapter to chapter, you will enjoy this story from cover to cover. At times you are metaphorical “on the edge of your chair” wondering what will happen next. You will fall in love with Colton and JoJo, hoping that everything with work out for them and they have a future together. Overall, I would highly recommend this book and you will not be disappointed 😊

Opening scenes do it for me , get the all things going and I was NOT disappointed with L.A. Ferro as this blew me away. “The uhhh…" Gemma scratches the back of her neck “Wasn't it The Man-Training Book Sluts?" “That was Ava's suggestion, and we were so drunk, we actually considered it for a few minutes," Libby chimes in. “I still think it's a solid business name. Very descriptive," Ava argues.”Book Boyfriend Builders!" See what I mean brilliantly scenes that are just as funny from,four different perspectives , the narrative on point brilliant! Colton Callahan frosty as can be , Boston’s most eligible bachelor treat for some but for other’s loathsome.Jojo finds herself snowed in a Colorado resort , the last resort? She isn’t alone …groan , it’s book boyfriend stage left but she ain’t bereft , she can’t catch her breath , she’s always liked red but on this fine specimen she’s thinking of bed…ahem sorry that might’ve been me . Well a girl can dream can’t she? I’m living through JoJo so some of it’s real…well you know what I mean . It has real feels of which I’m keen. Her holiday goals set in stone . Help out at the Christmas Tree Farm for her brother , write a best seller . Meet the client…moan….I mean guttural tone, eliciting freely because he has changed and he’s really …hot mama and all that is holy . He’s her fella ? This she can work with if her heart slows down a little more slowly…Her holiday wish has just come true. Well I’m getting hot don’t know about you. Getting snowed in? Omg ! I’ve just gone to heaven ! Colton thinks oh geez where did this piece of luck come from ? He’s brought to his knees , he’s sure she is heaven sent , hmmm just smell her scent . She’s all woman. But he knows this already , he’s always known how heavenly hot she’s got. He has hidden his feelings well but now is a good time to spill the beans and tell how it is and always has been.. “ I was never your enemy. I only played the part so I could exist in your world.It was you then , and I think it’s you now” SWOON ! Perhaps there’ll be an Honeymoon. Too soon? There’s angst , steamy , and dreamy too . My heart was overflowing over these two. I loved every last minute . My heart was certainly in it! Encore !!! Please ladies write us more . I didn’t want to let them go. Hating the Book Boyfriend by L.A. Ferro
ARC Review: 5/5 Stars
*Final 4th book within the Book Boyfriend Builders Series*

In this final installment of the BBB Series, I’m so sad to say that this is the end!!! Though I have loved and cherished each and every character throughout all 4 books, it is a bit sad to say goodbye to this world but thankfully stories are meant to be re-read when we are missing characters. But back to the review…

In this story we get to meet JoJo & Colton and can I just say holy shit are they a lot to deal with but also why do they work out so well together too (it very much gives me a bit of Lucy Score book By a Thread & Forever Never vibes all rolled into one). In this journey of a story, I love the constant feeling of will they or won’t they get together, and having it also be brother’s bestfriends vibes with the small talk holiday feels makes it very Hallmark-esk.

JoJo is very much trying to figure out the whole author side of life success plan but sadly she is also being pulled in so many directions too that its kinda becoming a bit difficult and it doesn’t help that her new business with her author friends is adding to the stress a bit. As for Colton, he is just trying to escape the life that he has and is in desperate search for something to be new and something he actually wants for the future. Thus this all brings him back to the small town of where he used to live when he was younger. And with the holiday season brewing up a storm, gears start to move… and now JoJo & Colton are constantly around each other but also not at the same time (thank you planning). Though the pull between these two is getting harder and harder to ignore (similar to a magnet) and with the build up of secrets it might become too much and break them before anything real actually starts!.

Overall, both of these characters take you on an adventure of banter, steam, and emotions. You will love this book that is for sure, so for that I highly suggest this read!!

JoJo and Colton’s story is a fabulous and rather endearing frenemies to lovers romance. I say frenemies because these two have a long history where sometimes they have been friends (like all the times he comforted her after some mishap) and other times they have been enemies where they have butted heads and have been at a standoff. When they meet again after nearly a decade, Colton is happy to mess up a would be hook up for JoJo and a stranger she has just met. Seeing her spitting mad is just a bonus. A snow storm and no other rooms available leads to JoJo and Colton sharing a room with only one bed. Neither is happy about it, but for different reasons. He knows that she hates him, and for good reason since he deliberately did everything he could to get her to avoid him or walk away. He has long carried a torch for her, but her brother is his best friend who has made it clear his sister is off limits to all of his friends. Making JoJo hate him is one way to keep himself from giving into temptation and trying to claim her for his own despite the bro code. But everything is about to change.

Their story has plenty of angst, flirting and steamy encounters. JoJo and Colton both are keeping secrets, and have some fears and trust issues to sort out as well. For so many years, they have avoided each other, but now both are very aware of the sparks between them, the need they suddenly feel for each other that won’t be denied, whether or not her brother approves. I enjoyed the banter, the snark and the flirting. The push-pull nature of their relationship, his jealousy and his pursuit of her all make for a captivating storyline. The texting between JoJo and her friends only adds to the enjoyment of this book.

I will happily recommend this fun and entertaining book.

This is Book 4 and final book of the Book Boyfriend
Series. I am sad to see it end as they all have been
wonderful!

JoJo comes home to Colorado to help her brother with
the family Christmas Tree farm. She is a romance
writer so she can work the farm during the day and
right at night. In the meantime, she and some friends
are at a Colorado resort for a book convention where
she is signing books. Jojo ends up getting snowed in
after she has checked out. She end up seeing her
brother’s best friend Colton who is a lawyer. She talks
Colton in to letting her into his room during the storm.
Colton and JoJo are not fond of each other! This has
been the way since their childhood and boy is there a
lot of tension between them. The banter between
these two snowed in “love birds” is fantastic. When
they finally give into each other….amazing. There is so
much emotion, angst and steam in this book. The
ending is just perfect. This is a great read for the
holidays and a wonderful finish to the Book Boyfriend
Series. Go read book 1-3 they are great. L.A. Ferro is
such a talented author and she is fast becoming one of
my favorites.

A lighthearted novella in a shared world that will leave you smiling. This is something new for L.A. Ferro and I can tell you I hope she writes more of these. Hating the Book Boyfriend is a brothers best friends, enemies to lovers, snowed in romance that had me binging the whole book in one sitting. Colton is Jojo enemy…well at least he is in her mind. He is also her brothers best friend. He has been her tormentor always laughing at her in her misfortune when she was growing up. When she is at a book convention, as an author with her besties, and is waiting for her brother to show up to pick her up she ends up gettin snowed in with him instead. This leads them on multiple journies. For our FMC it leads her on her own enemies to lovers story line and also helping her own client reach his own story book ending…or does it you’ll have to read to find that out.
This was light hearted and definitely the book I needed! It was fun and well writtten. The banter was amazing between our characters and I do felt that as a novella I still got growth of both characters. I even got some angst. The spice hit just right and was placed really well. This is going to be a book I pick back up again during the holiday season!! I can’t wait to read the other books in this shared world as well! I just know they are going to be fantastic too!

Oh. My. Freaking god I am in love LA has a knack for telling a story. And she did amazing with the fourth installment of this series.

I won’t lie when I heard this was a brother’s best friend story. I was immediately weak for this romance and this one had all of the elements and feels and quite literally had me hooked from page one.

So in this fourth installment Colton and JoJo wrap up the Book Boyfriend Builder novella collaboration and for me the entire ride was a literal high.

Four of the best author friends have a lot of drinks and decide to start a business helping men be more boy bookfriend like. The next morning each friend goes their own way to start their Book Boyfriend Builder adventure. JoJo ends up snowed into her hotel running into the last person she ever wanted to ask for help, her brother's best friend. Colton is 🥵 and has basically loved JoJo since they met but, of course, being his best friends little sister it can't happen. These two fight the attraction so HARD but love can't be stopped. No matter how hard they try to keep it at bay.

I literally enjoyed this one so much! Even though each story is set during the holidays, this Book Boyfriend felt the most Christmasy to me. Maybe since it took place on a Christmas tree farm. I quite literally can't wait to read these books again and again. Maybe another collab for the weddings. And then another for their children. Can’t wait to read more!!! Add the entire collaboration to your TBR you won’t be disappointed.

This was my first LA Ferro book, and I absolutely loved it. Even though it was the last of the Book Boyfriend series, it was definitely not the least. I breezed through this in a day and wished I had read slower.
Jojo is a freelance marketing rep and part-time romance author who, along with her 3 book besties, decides to start a book boyfriend training business. She is also part owner in her family's Christmas tree farm with her brother. She was headed home to the farm after a book signing convention when Mother Nature intervened leaving her stuck without a room at the convention hotel. Of course her brother's best friend, and her nemesis, Colton just happened to be staying at the same hotel and had a room all to himself.
The chance meeting is all they needed to start up where they left off years ago with lots of angst and verbal sparring; the best form of foreplay. The sparks were flying between the two as she tries her best to hate the man who used to torment her as a kid, but a girl can only take so much. All that sexy manhood in close proximity makes resistance impossible. These two are just so hot together.
Between the usual text chain between the BBB gang and some of Jojo's quick wit, I was laughing out loud. These ladies all write the funniest books.
I really loved all of it from the first page to the last. I am sad that the Book Boyfriend Builders series has come to an end. Will be checking out more by LA Ferro for sure.

The fourth & final book of the Book Boyfriend Builders series and L.A. Ferro is comin in hot with this one! I absolutely loved Jojo and Colton. The enemies to lovers, brother’s best friend tropes are two of my favorites so I knew this book would not disappoint. This novella romcom was swoon worthy and quick paced. The two’s banter and chemistry was off the charts. I loved their history and you just knew their love story was in the making all these years of knowing one another. Colton was a book boyfriend off the bat in his own way. Jojo and Colton’s journey was beautiful and I think they were the perfect couple to end this amazing series.

This is the 4th and final book in the Book Boyfriend Builders. Each book is written by a different author and will follow a couple from one of their series. Each story is an interconnected standalone and can be read in any order. This one is by LA Ferro and will follow Josephine "JoJo" and Colton.

Oh mercy me...what a way to wrap up this amazing series. I absolutely fell In love with Jo and Colton together. The tension was amazing. You could feel it coming off the page as you read. The little moments and touches that showed JoJo he is feelings. She just needed to understand and give in to their relationship. Jo has that open heart that you just love to read in a book. Colton was an enigma. I wasn't sure if I was going to like him and he tuned out to be a favorite.

I absolutely loved everything about this story and this series. It was such a fun 4 book set of stories that you can get lost in. If you are looking for a series of books that will make you laugh and smile while reading...these are for you. Congratulations ladies! Each one of these books was a joy and privilege to read. Thank you!

H/h have known each other since they were kids and he's her brother's bff. He's held a candle for her for over a decade or two but never acted upon it and became a player instead. She never even knew he liked her and she hates him for all the pranks he played on her as kids

Normally a manhoe would put me off but i can tolerate it as long as she isn't pining after him and has a good life or well, sex life which she does here. So I'm all for it. In fact at the start of the book, he's the one cock blocking her out of a ons and he gets jealous if anyone even looks at her

It's fairly a short read, they meet 10 years later, he tries to resist her but he falls first and hard. They go back and forth a bit and he wants to take it slow assuring her it's diff from his reputation. And she's skeptical. It was fun watching him desperately trying to win her over

In terms of safety, both are non virgins, never had a relationship and it's been over a year for her and a few months for him. He's running from bad press involving ow but there's no ow drama on page and has eyes only for her. As for om drama, h is helping a man win someone over and one of her brother's friend flirts with her which makes H very jealous and he tries his best to butt in lol

This one took a different take. Josephine Estes is a public relations consultant and also a struggling writer. Her books have not taken off like she wanted them to, but she knows writing is her passion. Her and her friends established the Book Boyfriend Builders for some extra income. It took off before they could decide if they wanted to do this. Jojo is all in except for the fact that none of her family and friends knows about her writing. She is headed home to help her brother, Archer, at the family’s Christmas tree business.

Unfortunately a storm stopped their reunion. After being stuck at a hotel with no rooms available, Jojo does the only thing she can do. She forces her brother’s best friend, Colton Callahan, to let her stay in his room. Colton has always been one of her childhood tormentors. She couldn’t let that stop her from staying with him since she had nowhere else to go.

Colton is an attorney that is coming off of a scandal and needed some time to get his mind right. Imagine his surprise when the woman of his dreams is at the hotel bar. Colton wants Josephine but is not ready to tell her overprotective brother. First he has to convince Jojo that he is all in. Will Colton and Jojo be able to fight their attraction to each other? Jojo getting know Colton might change her view of him. Does any of that matter with Archer trying to protect Jojoks heart?

I’m so sad that the Book Boyfriend Builders has come to an end! this book is no exception when I tell you that it’s a must read! This is my first time reading something by L.A. Ferro and I was soaking up every line of this book!

Jojo is living a double life...not really, but she moved back to help her brother with their family Christmas tree farm by day and is a romance author by night. On her way back home after a book signing, she ends up getting snowed in to her hotel and has to stay in the same room as her brother’s childhood best friend, Colton. This might sound like a good time however, they are at each others throats as they keep up the “act” of hating each other.

Jojo: you all know how much I LOVE a sassy fmc. She is definitely a little spitfire and can dish the insults right back at Colton.

Colton: lawyer, single bachelor (the ladies want him), but is secretly in love with his best friends sister....

The push and pull between these characters will make you want to scream at them! Just do it already!!! haha. The tension is REAL. But, I absolutely ate up the fact that every insult that Jojo took offensively, really weren’t meant to be insults once you hear the “why” behind them. Highly recommend you dive into this adorable novella!

The final book in this amazing series, and it has all the hallmarks of LA Ferro thru and thru. In fact, thats what I love, is that each book is true to the writing styles of each of these amazing women.

This is Josie/JoJo's story and it is her enemies to lovers relationship with Colton (IYKYK), a character we have met before (and I am so not mad about that). Colton is Josie's brother Archer's, best friend, and Colton has been her nemesis, taunting her, teasing, and giving her the nickname of Josie Posie. They met when Josie is stuck following an amazing weekend with her fellow authors, who left early to get home. Of course, this means, she not only has to leave her accommodation, but there is no other rooms available. Colton is staying there, so why not crash his room?

The banter and tension in this book is typical LA which I love, with the angst and words that you can feel. You feel the hurt from both our main characters as they uncover some home truths about each other.....and hate leads to love right? There is a slow burn but when that ignites, be scared for the christmas trees. This was so damn amazing, I loved it, and LA, YES YOU CAN WRITE NOVELLA'S. Totally nailed it.

Their enemies-to-lovers arc starts when they find themselves snowed in at a hotel, leading Josephine to insist on sharing a room.

In the midst of her new business venture with her author friends, Josephine also works on a project to transform Jacob into the perfect book boyfriend for his crush. The way her plans unfold is both heartwarming and engaging. However, tension arises when Colton misinterprets a text message, prompting Josephine to tap into her author skills to mend their relationship.

I absolutely loved this story! The chemistry between Josephine and Colton is palpable, and the supporting cast of characters adds depth and humor. I'm grateful to these four talented women for bringing us this series, and I can't wait to see what more is in store for the Book Builders Business. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys a well-written romance with plenty of heart!
