Rate this book
The reason why so few people manage to realize their dreams is that they focus on the 'how' rather than the 'why.' With the right resources, anyone can figure out how to do just about anything. The more important thing to consider is why you want to do it in the first place. These moments of self-evaluation will make you uncomfortable; at least they should. When we are honest with ourselves we often realize that we must change course into the unknown, and do the things that will not be easy. This is why it is so crucial to learn the art of "getting comfortable being uncomfortable." This book is a collection of stories and reflections that have inspired and guided me to success through all the stages of my life. The experiences in this book will provide you inspiration on your own journey to leaving your comfort zone and finding the answers to all of life's 'whys.' Bob Molle is one of the world's leading experts on goal-setting and personal achievement. He is the only man to ever win an Olympic medal and Grey Cup Championship, having won a Silver for Canada at the 1984 Olympics in Wrestling, in addition to captaining the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to Grey Cups in 1988 and 1990. Bob enjoys helping people from all walks of life, but he has also worked with major sales, marketing, financial and health organizations from across North America. By sharing his unique approach to goal-setting, he has inspired thousands of people to reach their full potential and better their lives. Bob is also an internationally renowned public speaker.

You know that feeling when you pick up a self-help book and it leaves you overwhelmed, questioning everything about your life, disappointed in yourself and wanting to overhaul it completely? This book wasn’t like that.
It felt more like catching up with an old friend—someone who’s got some real-life wisdom and wants to see you win without making you feel bad about where you’re at.
No long lists or “10 steps to a better you”. Just practical, real strategies that help you look at your challenges in a completely new way. It’s honest, encouraging, and exactly what a self-help book should be.

This book couldn’t have come at a better time. Get Comfortable Being Uncomfortable is more than a motivational read—it’s a mindset shift. Bob Molle doesn’t sugarcoat anything. He shares the highs and lows of his journey—from standing on the Olympic podium to winning a Grey Cup—and uses those stories to challenge you to step up.

What stood out most to me was how relatable his message is, even though he’s achieved incredible things. You don’t have to be an athlete to connect with this book. It’s for anyone who feels stuck, wants more from life, and is finally ready to face the hard stuff.

It’s honest, direct, and filled with takeaways that I’ve already started applying in my day-to-day. If you’re looking for a kick in the butt to get out of your comfort zone—this is it.

This book challenged me in ways I didn’t expect. Bob Molle doesn't try to be flashy—he’s real, raw, and speaks from hard-earned experience. His journey from back surgery to an Olympic medal, and from football fields to boardrooms, makes you realize that resilience isn't a gift—it's a choice.

What I appreciated most was how personal this felt. It’s not written to impress you—it’s written to move you. You can’t read this without asking yourself some tough questions about where you’re playing it safe in life.

Highly recommend it for anyone ready to stop coasting and start growing.

Practical, motivating, and honest So many “motivational” books are just fluff. Not this one. Bob Molle brings real world experience to the table and delivers no-nonsense wisdom. It's like getting a pep talk from someone who’s actually been there.
