I never knew much about John Ashcroft other than he was Attorney General under President H. W. George Bush. I remember that he was mocked and maligned because of his strong Christian faith, but knew little more about him. In this book he humbly explains who he was (is) and how his father's strong faith, morals and principles led him to who he became. Fathers and sons who want to improve their lives would do well to read this book. It is not about religion but about being true to and consistent with your principles.

A great book; given to me by my spiritual father. Revisit it often - getting ready to pass it on to my son.
