Fun, crazy and maybe a bit broke but worth reading
Honestly overall I think it's worth reading even if it needs lots of work. It's funny and sad in a way the mc is basically a child man going to child manling to man child :) .... It's so silly the guy has like no character development and the scary part is that in a lot of stories cultivators are solitary people and really don't develop people skills let alone hygiene practices. He starts out at as an 11 year old child who is drinking and other adult like things ... So very odd but still he has a goodness to him when it comes to friends

How can it keep getting better!!???
I absolutely love this series! Awesome character development and world building going on in this… MortyKay! Thank you for such an amazing cultivation novel.
I have really enjoyed novels such as Cradle, dragon heart, blue phoenix… I mean I could go for days… Kai continues to grow as the MC we know… and plots continue to thicken. I am absolutely in love with this series. I cannot wait to read the next iteration of Kai’s journey!

immortal Drunkard
I loved books 1-5 but find myself not as pleased with this new world and Kai’s role in it. I hope to see a better side of him as I read on. It’s also great that he moved to a new land with all new people but would love to see his friends grow him in some of the series. His grandfather, his close friends, yes great to surpass and gain new levels but this truly developed person always remembers and grow with others…

This story of an orphan who becomes the most powerful person in the lower world starting from the bottom again in the higher world was excellent. Next he’s going to a pocket world.

solid pacing
Though we are six books in, the pace set in the storyline is great. I find most authors get bogged down in details or random events instead of progressing the story but this author keeps it going and keeps me hooked.

Finally, a cultivation novel that doesn't read like a bad Chinese film
Well-written and worthy of a place among the most notable cultivation novels. You don't even have to struggle with trying to translate it into coherent English!!!

Lost 2 stars for NOT writing a Recap.
I think every reader needs to start doing this to force authors to write a quick Recap chapter, which readers can skip if they remember, and those who don't won't stop reading the series.

Still awesome!
Kai is moving up through the worlds, headed where he needs to go in order to fulfill his benefactor's last wish. He is growing in power and as a leader.
