He is a chef and yet he is being distracted by his waitress and her child. He tries to ignore it all but they get trapped in the freezer and the temperature rises. Now she is living with him and is now having his baby. Can he become less grumpy? Can a relationship work? See how they will get on

This is a new author to me and the first read by her.

Amber works a lot and tries her best. She has a daughter she has to provide for and so she wants the best for her daughter. She gets a job as a waitress and her first day doesn't go so well. She meets her boss, Nathan, and as first meets go, hers was a disaster. She will make sure she doesn't lose her job and will show everyone that she can do it. Nathan comes to her rescue when he learns that she will be homeless.

Nathan worked hard to get where he is in life. He has had a bad past with relationships and decided to just work hard. When he comes back from a business trip and sees how some staff is doing, he isn't all that pleased. His first impression of Amber is not one that he cares for but then he can't seem to stop thinking about her. When he learns that she is going to be homeless, he decides that he will help her. He was in for a big surprise when he learns she has a daughter.

Amber & Nathan work hard and work towards letting their past go and see if there can be a future between them. Amber has been hiding something from Nathan and when she finally lets him know, things get even better.

This is a fast, steamy and he falls first story. It's a good story and a sweet HEA.

New server Amber (h) struggles to fit in at the luxe restaurant where she been hired and immediately draws the ire of demanding head chef and owner, Nathan (H). Their early interactions are tense, with Nathan's quick temper causing friction in the kitchen. One night, Amber and Nathan are accidentally locked in a freezer. As they try to stay warm, a spark of attraction ignites between them, leading to an intimate moment. Once rescued, Nathan is conflicted about his feelings for Amber, attempting to maintain a professional distance while being drawn to her. Their professional and personal lives become intertwined as they navigate their relationship in a high-pressure restaurant setting. Nathan tries to focus on work, but he can't shake thoughts of Amber. Amber, who has a young daughter, Amanda, is equally torn between her responsibilities and her growing feelings for Nathan. As Nathan and Amber continue to work together, they face the consequences of their actions and must determine if their connection is worth pursuing despite the risks involved. Hot and steamy workplace romance with plenty of drama and angst.

Nathan is a celebrity chef with a 5 star restaurant and a TV show. But he’s isolated himself and is lonely. Amber enters his life as a single mom waitress. He falls first and has to work out what matters to him. She is devoted to her daughter but she keeps something inside far too long in my opinion which wasn’t fair to Nathan. The restaurant is a good background and the freezer scene sets up the action. A great ending along with Amanda makes this a keeper.

Amber and Nathan warmed my heart and had me in their corner cheering them on to getting their chance for happiness. They both have had bad relationships that has walled off their hearts and made it hard to build trust, but can they put their past behind them to grasp a brighter future.

This is a fun little fast burn romance. Where he falls first and he falls hard. It's packed with loads of tension that explodes out in versus amounts of passion. That ends in the sweetest HEA for all. I'd love to see Nathan and Amber again as parents, they will have the sweetest little family.

For a grump he,sure was handsome. Oh my god, a chef.I was in heaven.they were so perfect for each other. I loved it.
