For centuries, Vlad Dracula has ruled as the Prince of Darkness, reveling in his power and reputation. But one fiery, unforgettable night with Mina shattered his ironclad control. Now, years later, he finds himself back in Grimm Cove, face-to-face with the woman who has haunted his thoughts—and the shocking revelation that their lives are more entwined than he ever imagined.

Contains gore, violence, steam and plenty of "I am not the one" and the ability to back it up from the MC's The Past-On his way to help his friend, even if said friend did betray him and hold a grudge against him, he came as fast as he could. The plea of, "Help them", with an image of the young twins frozen in his mind, one in particular, from their maker. He and his demon came quickly, he must save her. Little did he realize the things saving the sisters, one in particular, lives would set in motion. Then, another betrayal. When Mina comes to her senses, she realizes she's lost a large amount of time. She remembers the horrors her and her twin endured. Waking in a Motel room in another country with a letter addressed to each of them, telling them, no, warning them what to do, what not to do and to go to college as planned. It takes about two minutes before they believe what the letter says. Left penniless by their Aunt, they look out for each other when "that time" comes every month. For the last few years, Vlad has come to Grimm Cove and he can't explain why. He only looked for two things now. The one who betrayed him and Ponytail Girl. His Ponytail Girl. She meets a man, a vampire who calls himself Vlad. Well he can call himself whatever he wants, as long as they don't stop doing the passionate things they're doing. She's only just met him but she feels so close to him. She does two things well and in her own words, tonight she will lay and not slay. Drac has blown her mind but when she hears a voice warning that her friends are in danger, she has to move, NOW! A dark storm is coming. When Vlad arrives to help, it's too late and he's lost her. Again. 18 years later- She, her sister and their daughters are back in Grimm Cove. She finally has her own home away from Bram and Marcy VanHelsing along with all of Marcy's pets. She wonders, was she as difficult as her daughter at that age? She had looked for Vlad after everything was over but never found him. His daughter was just like both of them. Called to an emergency meeting at VanHelsing manor, she finds out that they are all in danger. It would seem they're having out of town guests. Yes the gangs all here for a showdown for the books! It was a great read and reading about some of the past Grimm Cove favorites was just the icing on the cake. Mina is not the one and I loved her attitude and humor. Vlad was a very misunderstood vampire who didn't mind the tall tales and I loved him as well. Lots of players in this high stakes game.

As we know from the last book in this series (Wind With a Chance of Wolfsbane), Mina and her sister Willa end up in Romania with their Aunt Helen, and in a nutshell it all goes to hell. Willa found her forever mate in Johnathan Harker, this story is how Mina found and lost her mate after that fateful day.
After Romania Mina knew she was more than before. Before she was already more than just a plain old human as she came from a long line of hunters, that hunted for the evil beings that share our world with us. But now she was more... more than human, she also had vampiric traits as well, which included fangs. She could d things now, things she knew she shouldn't be able to, she was stronger, faster, had a need to hunt for anything evil regularly and to top it off, she had one helluva sexual appetite.
Four years after Romania on Halloween nght, she was in a fight with evil, when the most gorgeous vampire came to her aide, they spent one night together and during a major fight at her home she and Willa found themselves zapped away from Grimm Cove. And from that one mind blowing night she was blessed with a wonderful gift... her daughter. For years after, she only knew him as Drac.
17 years later both the sister's were able to return to Grimm Cove. just as they are settling in, a fight for their lives is not too far in the horizon. The fates have decided to bring Mina and Vlad together forever finally. On that night Vladimir Dracula has several shocks awaiting him and he couldn't be happier. Even though this book has come to a close, believe me Vlad and Mina's story is far from over. There's a lot more to come, especially with that cryptic warning from that stranger. I can't wait!!!!!
This book was WELL worth the wait for, it can be read as a stand alone but i would advise to read from the beginning of this series. It has you on the edge of your seat from page one, needing to know what happens next, its full of fight scenes, sexual encounters, laugh aloud moments, and like any good paranormal romance it has a HEA. Well worth 5 stars.
Mina is ready to be a part of her lineage...maybe a bit too eager. When her enthusiasm changes not only her but her twin can she handle the fallout? I enjoyed seeing Mina's journey to happily ever after. She is so different from her twin but similar as well. I loved that her determination to protect everyone she loves leads her to the man she couldn't forget. Vlad has allowed history to dictate how he is viewed. He didn't think it hurt and only helped until it didn't. Now the woman he saved long ago haunts him. Will he every kind her and with her peace? Prince With a Chance of Darkness is the latest in Mandy M. Roth's Grimm Cove series. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Vlad better as well as see Mina deal with her mini me. I Aldo appreciate that Mina has grown into maturity. She is more aware of consequences even as she fights to protect her family. I love that she accepts Vlad and all he is. Their journey wasn't easy and they have more to face but I love they are finally able to face it together.
Vlad (aka Dracula) and Mina finally get to have their HEA. He's the old as dirt vampire, who's been made out to be far worse than he is. She's the natural born slayer who had to become a vampire to save her life. Neither one thought they'd be other than a ONS - fate said "hold my beer"!
Betrayal, miscommunication, instafamily, fated mates and a huge dysfunctional found family - all the hallmarks of a fabulously funny romp in Grimm Cove. With Burgess causing mayhem, Marcy being very Marcy and a teenager finally finding out who her dad is.
I loved seeing the action from previous books from this fresh perspective, seeing how all the timelines converge and overlap. Vlad is the nicest "bad guy" in history and Mina is no Buffy - she's a lot more lethal! I really love this series and I'm here for as many books as possible in this tine, supernatural friendly town.
Dracula has arrived, actually many times in search of his mate. The woman he only knows as ponytail girl. What happens when the biggest baddie finds and loses his woman ? You have a serious problem that's what. No one will get in his way, dead or alive, and he has the perfect group to fight along his side. Join Vlad and the weird sisters as they desperately help in search for their masters mate. This is an part of an amazing series, (among many) that will suck you into their world. From the Queen of Paranormal
We made it back to Grimm Cove, finally. It seems like it took a lifetime to get here but boy was it worth it!
Mandy went above and beyond with her depiction of Dracula and his allies.
The Weird sisters are certainly out there. Colorful to say the least but an integral part of the story.
I am so thankful that Vlad and Mina finally got their happy ending. Though they lost many years they have many more in front of them.
There are so many amazing characters in this story but Vlad's Demon had me in hysterics. His sexual banter was off the charts. He is defiantly a keeper.
Mandy, that ending just blew my mind. Awesome in fact.
Another amazing read Mandy. I can't wait for the next book. 💜🔥💜.

Finally it's her, the culmination of the decade spanning series in which fictional and supernatural creatures take over the town of Grimm Cove. This finishes the overarching story of Mina, her sister Willa, Dracula and the Weird Sisters. It crosses over the previous book and in this after fighting evil and searching for Mina for decades, the couple reunite. We have Bram, Jonathan Barker, Lucian, Marcy and Burgess and a raccoon called Buffy. So much has happened over the seven books and this final one reminds us of it all with humour, action, danger, pining, spice and found family. A great finale and the intro to the Grimm Cove Uni series coming soon.
In this latest Grimm Cove novel, Vlad has spent years searching for his beloved after turning her and having her disappear not once but twice. I was so happy when I heard that Mandy was finally writing Vlad’s story and wondered how it would play out especially when the Weird Sisters were involved. I loved Mina and how she didn’t allow anything from keeping her from being her true self and didn’t take crap from anyone else including friends and family alike.

YAY! Back to Grimm Cove and with a book that I want more of. We have seen pieces of the story behind Vlad and Mina but now we get the full picture. What happened in Romania all those years ago as well as what happened in Grimm Cove. Fast forward to today...Vlad has made it back to Grimm Cove and finally has his HEA with Mina and his daughter. There is more to this story and I am sure pieces will play out in future Grimm Cove books but for now, the fact that these two have made their way back to each other is cause for celebration.
Loved the first scene where Mina and Dracula come face to face again! A true Roth powerhouse of a book, combining swoonworthy romance and humor as only she can do. The witty banter between vampire slayer and Prince of Darkness add a lighter touch to what could otherwise be an intense relationship. Mina's big secret drastically rases the stakes and adds an extra layer of emotion that Roth is known for. I also loved the references to previous books - - it definitely made me want to circle back and re-read them!
I liked the story but so much of it felt like Déjà vu. The biggest surprise was Henry! And the Weird Sisters are bada@$. Don't get me wrong, I would recommend the book to supernatural enthusiasts, and even living in South Carolina, I understand the bat crap crazy and embrace it. Vlad and Mina's story was a nice edition to Grimm Cove.

I adored this mirror image book. I loved that it filled in so many blanks from the rest of the series and from the twins perspective. I adore seeing so many different characters showing up in different sides of the same events. I adore the twins and loved seeing Mina's happy ending. It really pays to read this book as soon as you've finished book 6 otherwise things might be a bit confusing. Can't wait for more in this series!
Vampire Slayer and Dracula - What a match! Wow! Another great story featuring Dracula himself and vampire slayer Mina. It follows their version of events spanning many years from when they first met to present day. It’s like a retelling and expanding of the previous books in the series. A must read to follow along with the next evil events that are to take place in this world. With danger and attacks galore, some pretty humorous content throughout, an insane attraction between Mina and Vlad plus all of our favourite characters making appearances in this story, it was an amazing addition to the series. I thoroughly enjoyed immersing myself in Grimm Cove again and am looking forward to the next couples story and the evil that they no doubt will encounter.
I have been reading this series from the beginning and each story seems better than the last. I have been waiting for Mina and Vlad's story and it lives up to the rest of the series. Mina is a Kick Ass heroine and Dracula is sexy with a hint of vulnerability. The slight cliffhanger of an ending will whet your appetite for the next book.

The setting was fast paced, vivid and real, the intricate details were amazing! The story flowed without snags, and characters' dialogues were believable, sometimes sassy and sometimes funny. The great interaction between all the characters made this book one of my favorites! Left a VERY large smile on my face!
This was a wonderful story. I wouldn’t call it a continuation because it seemed to just fill in many of the blanks from previous stories. It contains a great setup for Mina and Vlad, it then jumps around which leaves new blanks. The play between Vlad and the weird sisters in this story was hilarious.

I absolutely loved Mina and Dracula's story! It was fast paced and filled with action! I absolutely loved seeing old characters from previous books such as Bram and Jonathan and Marcy!!! The only thing i found mildly disappointing was the ending which i guess we will see the continuation on the next book of the series. Still i don't think i was ready for the story to end!
I have been wanting to read this book..it seems like forever and it was worth the wait!!! Team Vampire here. It was funny, sexy, suspenseful with witty banter, loving and mysterious. I enjoyed being in Grimm Cove and seeing all the characters. Makes me want to reread the whole Grimm Cove series. I loved it!!
Loved the story of Dracula and Mina. Even though I read Willa’s story twice, I never put it together if who Mina was with that night. Interesting to learn the cause of the white light. I hadn’t thought forgotten that if it was revealed in an earlier book. Can’t wait for the next book.
I love that Mina got her story. The Grimm Cove world is one of my favorites and I absolutely adore the characters! I hope there will be many more stories so we can check in with Stevie Holmes and find out who Devil Dave settles down with. So many wonderful potentials!
Whilst I liked this story and love the authors writing, much of this book felt repetitive largely as a result of it covering the same timeframe and characters as a previous book. I liked it the Vlad's tale was finally being fleshed out. It fits well into the rest of the series books.

I love how Mandy writes each story its like a little windows into the lives of people who live in Grimm Cove. This the story of characters that all converge from the 1-6 books leading up to book7 I cannot wait for the next window to open on this "not so" sleepy little town.
Love this series! Ms Roth brings her characters to life. They're funny and endearing. Their journeys may be long and difficult, but together they can overcome!
It was great fun to read about the others we love in Grimm Cove in addition to Vlad and Mina meeting, love, loss, found again, love and more. Great fun with Marcy always
Another entertaining story in this series. FYI it's not a stand alone, must be read in order, or at least 5 and 6 before 7. But if you don't read all of them you are really missing out. I want a Burgess.
I can't wait to read what's next in the Grimm Cove world. I absolutely adore the series because it's so cute and such an interesting take on the classics we know and love
This book is well written and takes you on a journey of emotions. I do recommend reading this series in order to get the best out of it. Well done Ms Mandy your books are captivating.

An exciting visit to Grimm Cove feeling like going home. The people are amazing, the events terrifying and the ending most wonderful. A most creative combination of paranormal and mythical. Highly recommend.
I love this series! I love how it all intertwines with each book! This is Mina and Vlad’s story, which overflows from the last book. The characters are great and this series is one of my favorites! I can’t wait for the next book!
At last we get to see Vlad & Mina’s storyline with all the history of the past. This series has been such fun with all the couples & this one does not disappoint. I love that the previous characters feature in the books so you never lose touch with your favourites. Another winner for me!
