AI written book?
This book was pretty formulaic I think. Also there were some phrases that didn't make sense: "she was a tiny thing, five feet four, soaking wet" and then another I noticed: "they came in wearing spit-shined suits". Could have been just a lack of editing. Started skimming pretty early. You definitely don't have to think when reading this one.

This is a well written MC/ mafia romance with strong characters in Maddox and Helena. The author does a great job developing the story and painting her scenes perfectly. She takes you into their lives with an off limits age gap romance, drama and danger as well as the undeniable chemistry. She moves the story fluidly and delivers a fantastic read. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Age Gap MC Romance with a splash of Bratva
Love the MC / Bratva ties. Loved the Age Gap. Love the secrets that the MC members have. Helena is adorable and Maddox is a obsessive man. Looking forward to the next story with Dimitri

I ate this book up! I finished it in one day because I couldn't stop reading it. I loved how smart and strong Helena was throughout the book. Maddox was perfect. He is protective, completely obsessed with Helena, and sweet yet still a very dangerous man. He was willing to do whatever it took to protect her and get her back when she was taken. I can't wait to read Demtri's story next!

Saving Helena is book 1 of Iron Brotherhood MC Series, which follows the journey of Helena and Maddox. I absolutely love the characters in this story. Very entertaining, intense, spicy, twist and turns. Exceptionally well-written. Maddox was in foster care after foster care as a child. Then, one of his foster mom’s told him to join the military to keep him out of trouble, so he did just that. Now that he is done with the military, and 25 yrs old, he met Roscoe, the president or leader of the Iron Brotherhood MC. Roscoe’s daughter Helena is 16 in a half and off limits. Maddox is attractive to her but waiting til she is of age. Maddox now 33, and Helena graduated college. The ages of so fast. Maddox stalked her while she was in college just to get his fix and to make sure she is safe. Everything changed when Helena turned 22 and lost her father Roscoe, and Maddox became president of the MC. Helena still lives away from the club and works while Maddox still stalks her. 3 years after her father passed, Helena needed help, and she wanted Maddox to help, so she went back to the MC. This is an amazing book, and we watch them blossom into their romance for each other. I absolutely love Maddox, Helena, and Dimitri. I can hardly wait to read book 2 about Dimitri and more about Helena and Maddox. I would strongly recommend this book to others. I love how author Haven Fox was able to keep the primary focus on the plot with just the added bonus of some spice.

Helena was raised around the club, but her father kept her separated from the happenings at the club. She goes off to college and then her father dies. When she comes back to bury him things change between her and Maddox. Maddox has wanted Helena since she was legal, but she was too young and innocent, so he pushed her away. However, she discovers something bad about the company she is working at and runs back to Maddox for help. Maddox knows that he isn't strong enough to let her go again so he agrees to help her knowing that he is going to make her his in the end. Can the find the threat before its too late? What will it mean for the club? Will they finally get their chance to be together?
This is an amazing story that once I started it, I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

I received this book as an ARC
It was alright but I wanted more spice than 3 total scenes including the cunnilingus in the hallway.. and I believe it was fingers again in a hallway? Maybe they have things for hallways..
Time jumps are always difficult and this one had some big gaps to overcome.. it still felt slightly clunky but it worked well..
The story was good but I felt rushed and Dimitri goes from hating Helena to being her biggest fan so easily.. and she just accepts it when they never even talk about anything?
Pike seems shady AF and again none of the history is talked about..
I feel like there were a ton of loose ends that needed summed up in some way if you were going to bring them up and the attitude switches of characters gave me whiplash
But overall it was a cute story but I’m not sure I will continue the series

This was an exciting series opener by a new-to-me author. I love that she took the characters' lives from when Haven was a teen until she was mid 20's. They had quirks, and clashing interactions, but that was from Maddox's attempts to keep his attraction to her hidden. She definitely crushed on him but when he kept pushing her away, well, pride, you know? She needed him to keep her safe from the mafia, though, and he took that as his hint that the time was finally right. These two had hot chemistry and really had to fight through the danger to get their HEA. Expect a wild reading ride where an MC crosses paths with the mafia $hit gets real. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book as we have some threads and characters to sort out, yet. That being said, this book has an HEA for Haven and Maddox ;D

New author and series for me. Helena is the princess of the Iron Brotherhood. She was raised by her father in this environment and was OFF-LIMITS! Maddox joins the Iron Brotherhood when Helena was a young girl and of course Helena has a crush on the untouchable biker. Helena goes away to college and decides not to return to the MC. Once her father passes away and leaves Maddox in charge, Maddox decides that now is the time to make his move on the one person who has piqued his interest.
When Helena comes across some information about trafficking, she runs to the only person who she can trust and who can help her – Maddox and the Brotherhood. Will Maddox be able to keep Helena safe from the cartel? Will the Brotherhood be able to figure out what the cartel is up to?

I'm mad and disappointed. In the beginning I was really looking forward to this story. He was really protective of her, and I like that.
The problem is - there was absolutely zero romance. It was all sexual. I don't believe for a second they are in love. They didn't spend any time together except having sex.
And the repetitiveness. Why? Everyone got a rundown of events in the book which meant we (the readers) got it at least three times. If we took all of these repeat conversations and instead built a connection with the main characters it would have been better.
Also, the lack of quotations was also driving me crazy. I shouldn't have to guess what is dialogue and what isn't.
I think this story could have been really good if it was more thought out. The whole mix of MC and Mafia is a great idea. It just wasn't executed very well IMO.

This book is a fantastic MC romance with a dash of mafia drama, an age gap, and forbidden love! Maddox is the grumpy but lovable biker, and Helena is the young girl who's off-limits—at first. Years later, she needs the Brotherhood's help, and the sparks between them are undeniable.
Their story is intense and emotional, with Maddox's tough exterior hiding a big heart and Helena growing into a strong woman. The chemistry between them is on fire, making their eventual romance incredibly satisfying.
Despite some predictable moments, the emotions and great writing keep you hooked. The side characters add depth and make the story even more engaging.
Overall, a solid 4-star read that’s full of drama, passion, and redemption. Highly recommend!

had high hopes…
This just fell so flat for me.
The story starts off great, MFC seeks help from MMC and he comes to the rescue! HOWEVER, I think it is weird that Helena has been seen as “off limits” for a decade, but because Maddox has been watching her from afar they can just be BAM in a relationship??? It is weird. I needed more plot. More build up. And for Dimitri to hate her and then not? And his departure seemed like it didn’t phase anyone? I dunno…
There are only 2.5ish spicy scenes. Also awkward because the first one is so unexpected because he hasn’t seen Helena in 4 years. Whatever.
I am all for an insta love, but this just wasn’t it. I needed more depth. Sorry.

I just finished reading a book that's filled with chaos at every turn. It's part of a series, and I'm eagerly anticipating the next book. If you're a fan of Age-Gap/MC/Bad Boy Romances, Mafia Stories, Action, and Suspense, then you'll definitely enjoy this read.
This was my first time reading a book by this author, and I absolutely loved Maddox and Helena's story. Who wouldn't enjoy a great age-gap story about a Motorcycle Club meeting the Mafia? “Saving Helena” is a steaming hot MC romance between the now president and the old president’s off limits daughter. Only now, she grown up and needing the club’s protection. Since the main character has been watching her from afar for years, brushing her off to control himself, and she also has been admiring him, thinking he disliked her because of the way he acted with her, its a super fun read. Love this trope. Well written. My only gripe - a personal preference- I hate when characters knowingly put themselves in danger and then -no surprise- into danger they go. Other than that, loved this steamy and entertaining read.

One of many things that I love about this book. Is that Haven is took her time to give us a badass story telling and world building in the world of Helena and Maddox. Because once you start reading chapter 1,you won't want to stop until you finish the book. Another is that the plot (for me) was sooo good. I felt like I was with Maddox during the tense times in the book or I was Helena during her badass moments. Never thought that a Mc romance would work with a hint of mafia in it would work but Helena made it work and I'm glad she did it.

Holy crap! Just OMG! I am a sucker for a motorcycle romance and this one did not disappoint! The pacing was fabulous. Watching the relationship between Helena & Maddox grow was enjoyable. The writing style was perfect. And the little bit of spice sprinkled in? PERFECTION! I love how well the author was able to keep the primary focus on the plot with just the added bonus of some spice. 10/10 would recommend and I am looking forward to book 2 in this series!

Maddox has been mesmerized by Helena for a very long time, but she’s younger and the Prez’s daughter. Haven Fox captured the gritty world of the Iron Brotherhood MC and gave her characters plenty of action. The chemistry between Maddox and Helena is sizzling, their connection is emotional, and the bond between them is strong. The danger Helena brought with her erupts and brings secrets out with new connections made. It’s a great start for the series and I think each book will be just as exciting!.

I love Mafia Romances and I love Motorcycle Romances, so the two together were an interesting mix.
Maddox is one of those characters that you hate to love, but you end up seeing why he is the way he is, and seeing his growth with Helena. And of course the whole stalker thing ;)

This book is a great Age-Gap Romance, a bit like Sons of Anarchy with a John Wick twist. It's packed full of chaos at every turn. I'm looking forward to the next book of the series. This was a great story. I loved that we get to see a little bit from when they are younger “flashbacks”. I loved the progression in the book. I liked how it all tied together. I’m more than a little curious to see if Pike will be good for the club or bad. And I’m definitely going to read the next book. Dimitri sounds just as yummy as Maddox did. Looking forward to more.

Saving Helena definitely hits all the hot points in the story, the steamy scenes between Helena and Maddox, and all the feelings they have for each other will scratch all the itches you're trying to reach with this type of story. It's a fun read, and fairly quick.
It could use an editing pass for tense, structure, and spelling but that doesn't really slow the story and the romance isn't affected by those shortcomings.

Maddox is my newest book boyfriend, everything about him is yummy. I wish he wouldn’t have been such a butt to Helena while she was growing up but men in books do dumb things thinking it’s the right thing a lot. This is a pretty good MC book, it has a good plot and I like all the characters. I wish there would’ve been more spice, idk why but I was expecting it to be spicier since it’s an MC book. Besides that I enjoyed it and already ordered the next one in the series. Mind Your Triggers

Best MC I have read in a long time! I read it in a few hours. With a twist out of nowhere, I wasn’t putting it down. I loved that Maddox and Helena had so much history but of course the timing wasn’t right. As soon as Helena needed her knight and shining chrome, he was there. And he wasn’t letting her go this time.
I can’t wait to read more about the other members of the MC. I am officially hooked on this series.

It was so good I couldn't put it down till I finished it
I like the way this story read, smoothly and it went by quickly. You felt the desperation at times with some of the characters and you felt the love they felt for others. You also got the feeling that this group of Motorcycle riders were About honor And justice. I liked each 1 of the characters and I can not wait to get to read the rest of the series.

This is my first read by this author and Maddox and Helena's story is fantastic.
Who doesn't love a great, MC meets Mafia, age gap story. This book offers a bit of everything. Be sure to check the trigger warnings if you're sensitive to certain topics. Can't wait for book 2!

New author for me and I was not disappointed!! Fell in love with both MC and the rest of the crew. Cannot wait to see what you have planned for the other characters and especially looking forward to what intrigue/suspense is in store with Pike. (good guy, bad guy, redemption). Definitely looking forward to Dimitri’s book!
