This is a good techno-thriller debut. The pacing is fast. The beginnig trows us right into the plot and little by little we find out more about SQAI. We follow one main character. I liked the found family trope. While I'm glad the main character found love, this was not my favourite part of the book. The romance felt a littly clunky and rushed. As this was a subplot, it was fine and I read this book to enjoy the techno-thriller.
The book doesn't go as deep into the technology as I might have wished for. But the premise of this powerful A.I. is interesting and executed in an interesting way. This is a book you cannot put down.
I'll continue with the next book right away.
