A different take to the wolf and human story. The prince and his bed slave become very close but she gets pregnant by the gardener who is supposed to have been sterilized. The story is mainly about what goes on in the bedroom between the prince and slave then she is moved on to the king. All the real drama happens near the end when they rescue the prince and take off in the queen's spaceship and land on a remote planet. If you took the sex out of the story there really is only about 20 pages of story.

Yeah, there was literally no plot anywhere, and I didn't care for how Astrid was being shared by Forest, who was an asshole, the prince, AND the king?? It was just not it for me. None of them were likeable, and Astrid was beyond dumb as well.

Also Beatrix Steam kann ich wirklich überhaupt nicht einschätzen. Mal schreibt sie grottenschlechte Geschichten, die komplett emotionslos oder übertrieben sind und bei der einfach nur eine Sexszene an die andere gereiht wird. Dann kommt sie wieder mit solchen Geschichten um die Ecke, wo sie um die extrem vielen Sexszenen (ist ist eben doch weiterhin fast nur PWP) auch noch eine annehmbare kleine Story spinnt und ihren Charakteren wenigstens ein wenig Tiefe gibt. Da überrascht sie mich dann so mit, dass ich ihr doch eine recht hohe Wertung dafür gebe. Empfehlen möchte ich die Story trotzdem nur Lesern die auch mit PWP leben können!
Es geht hier um eine junge menschliche Sklavin auf einem Planeten wo Wolfsmenschähnliche royale Aliens regieren. Sie dient dem Prinzen erst als normale Sklavin und dann als Bettsklavin. Es wird hier einiges moralisch hinterfragt und das für eine Erotikbuch auch recht geschickt eingebaut. Die junge Sklavin beginnt nämlich erst nach und nach zu hinterfragen, warum sie eigentlich eine Sklavin ist, welchen Wert sie für den Prinzen wirklich hat und warum die Welt so ist wie sie ist. Wie oben schon erwähnt, war ich nach den vielen richtig banalen und oberflächlichen Geschichten von Beatrix Steam wirklich überrascht, doch noch so viel Handlung neben den vielen erotischen Szenen zu bekommen.
Die Sklavin denkt erst, sie hätte eine besondere Stellung und erhofft sich mehr vom Prinzen. Sie lässt ihn sogar etwas sehr gefährliches mit ihrem Körper machen, was sie nicht nur körperlich, sondern auch psychisch stark beeinflusst. Durch andere Sklaven bekommt sie andere Sichtweisen und beginnt Dinge zu hinterfragen und eine eventuelle Flucht zu planen. Dazwischen geschehen noch andere Dinge. Intrigen und Machtspiele. Man darf hier keine wirkliche tiefe Ausarbeitung dazu erhoffen, aber für eine Erotikbuch, war das wirklich überraschend gut. Daher bekommt das ganze von mir 3,6 Sterne und ich werde die Autorin weiterhin nicht abschreiben, auch wenn ich auch schon richtig schlechte Ebooks von ihr gelesen habe.

Definitely smutty but still a cool story!

Absolutely yes, it's a story filled with sex, but its more than that, too! The author describes the oppression of the human slaves as well as the hierarchy of the wolf slave masters. I thought the Prince and Astrid had a real thing going on and was not prepared for the massive plot twist! Is there more to this story? I don't know, but ill be looking for it as well as for more stories written by this author!

It's supposed to be a 1 - 10 bundle, but all I got was one story that was ten characters long 😕. Not exactly what I was expecting but it's still a great story and worth reading 😃. Thanks Beatrix, I truly enjoyed reading this story and I'll check out what other stories you've written 🤓.

This book really ticked me off!
Massive spoilers in this review- beware!

She gave so much to him and the first chance he has he's cheating on her with several others because he has "needs" I was soo ticked I wanted to DNF- but I foolishly trudged on hoping somehow things would turn around. Nope. Got worse. My emotions were too high to finish it so I returned it to KU.

What an imagination Beatrix Steam has. She created a world that is different than life on Earth. Aliens that don’t understand love only hot sex. A lot of hot sex. Until a young woman makes a difference in two men’s lives. This is a must read if you like to be a roused a lot. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Different than expected

This is a 10 book bundle, but more like 10 chapters of one story. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I felt like it didn't follow typical expected story line. It has an HEA, but not in the way I thought.
